Phileas Fogg has wagered he can circumnavigate the world in just eighty days.
1872, with a steampunk twist. Phileas Fogg has wagered he can circumnavigate the world in just eighty days. Choose your own route around a 3D globe, travelling by airship, submarine, mechanical camel, steam-train and more, racing other players and a clock that never stops in TIME Magazine's #1 Game of the Year 2014. Featuring stunning art by Jaume Illustration, a half-million word script by Meg Jayanth, original music by Laurence Chapman, and built using the same inklewriter engine that powers our critically-acclaimed Sorcery! series, 80 DAYS is an interactive adventure created by your choices, on the fly, and is different every time you play. Playing as Phileas Fogg's loyal valet, Passepartout, you must balance your master's health, your finances, and the time, as you choose your own path from city to city all the way around the world. Bribe your way onto early departures, but don't let yourself go bankrupt or you'll be sleeping rough and begging for aid! Trade items for profit, and collect the equipment for the conditions you'll face: but too much luggage will slow you down... 80 DAYS is a breakneck race, with an in-game clock that never stops running. Trains, steamers, hot-air balloons, boats, camels, horses and more leave and arrive minute by minute. Every city and journey is narrated via an interactive story where you control every action. Will your choices speed you up - or lead you into disaster? Will you earn Fogg's trust and respect? Will you uncover the secrets and short-cuts that can shave days off your time? Murder, romance, rebellion and intrigue await! The app is network-connected, with a live feed that shows you the position of all the other players of the game, their routes, triumphs and disasters. You can race to be the fastest - or look ahead to learn the secrets of the world. Share your own journey with friends, and load other's routes directly into your app so you can race head-to-head. * "We’ve been dreaming about this future for decades. Guess what? It’s here." - New York Times * "This brilliant interactive novel re-imagines Phileas Fogg's journey around the world... One of the finest examples of branching narrative yet created." - The Telegraph * "For people who love high adventures and good writing, 80 Days is a voyage that must be taken" - The Verge * "A brilliantly paced, memorable and quite frankly terrific piece of modern interactive fiction, that masterfully blends strategy, resource management and adventure" - IndieGames.com * "This is modern storytelling that engages and delights, and the bold, stylish artwork gives 80 Days almost a graphic novel feel. Pack your case, armchair Passepartout - adventure awaits!" - Joystiq 150 cities to explore. Millions of journeys. Detailed research and techno-fantasy combine in an 1872 of tensions, inventions and exploration. Climb the Burmese mountains, trek the Zulu Federation, sail up the Amazon and disappear under the Indian Ocean - but don't fall behind the time!

“Good news, Monsieur!“ I exclaimed. “We have been updated again, properly to support ’phones running the fourteenth edition of Android.” Monsieur Fogg made no reply, but he glanced up fleetingly from his newspaper, and I thought to detect an air of approval in his customary silence.

Get This Game! I have 80 Days on both my phone and tablet. High replayability, offline play, and while the sounds are pleasant they are very optional, making this an excellent game to play/read while relaxing in bed next to a sleeping partner. XD

a really engaging and enjoyable game. I've played it through 6 times so far, and with almost infinite possibilities I will definitely play it more. I do wish though that past journeys were recorded, and also Intel from different countries saved like an almanac which would make future journeys more enjoyable.
- Cara · v1.6a5
I Really Enjoyed Playing This Game. i come back to it every now and then. it would be great to get more games like this! maybe a sequel to this. very good writing and dialog. Never played a game like this before.
- Andrew Ferraro
I enjoyed it.
- Kor Ren · v1.6a5
absolutely love wish there was a bigger or expanded version!!!!!
- Rad Berry · v1.6a5
A delightful, immersive, simple experience of travel, choose-your-own-adventure story, and trade. I am reading Dracula (Bram Stoker, 1897) right now and enjoying the late Victorian period, which this game embellishes with fantastic machines and lots of little sub-stories. I've played once and will likely replay a few times.
- Jeff Catania · v1.6a5
I bought this game 6 years ago and I'm still finding new story lines with this game. I've never found a game with writing which makes me yearn for crazy adventures and holy moments of human connection like this game does. It might be one of my favourites.. ever? Cheers, Inkle Studios.
- Kitt Meshugganah · v1.6a5
Absolutely loved this game. it reminds me a bit of a choose your own adventure book. It has high replayability and (depending on how focused you are on completing the gamble in time) takes 1-2 hours to complete a trip. The attention to detail and the various events that happen make this a delight to play, and I've already gone around the world twice in the first day I've had the game downloaded! I also adored the art style and the music. This has been one of the best mobile games I've played.
- Tiffany Qualls · v1.6a5
engaging and well written. worthy of purchase
- Tom Louie · v1.6a5
I've played 3 times and I love the writing and diversity of characters and environments. I wish there was a way to view the history of all my trips!
- Logan H Lauren · v1.6a5
I don't\nKnow if this game is based on a book or movie? Because some of the things described in there was things I have no idea what they would have been like artificers and these weird ships and stuff. So if that's where this comes from, my fault. Other than that , amazing game , very fun and unique
- Christin Franklin · v1.6a5
Very Knowledgeable & Thoughtful game :) I appreciate the work 👏
- Anurag
Fantastic port of a fantastic game. I 100% recommend this, as well as anything Inkle touches. Compelling and entertaining narrative with top-notch replayability.
- DHK · v1.6a5
Repetitive, monotonous and useless
- Mayank Singh
Great game to get on play pass! It's like the novel but also nothing like it, the 1800s are reimagined and given a steampunk, sci-fi charm that you will find nowhere else, with so many branching paths and dialogue to navigate through that you will always have something new to discover on the voyage. However, there is not much gameplay - this is closer to a CYOA book rather than a complete game. Most of your playthrough will be spent reading text, making decisions and managing inventory.
- Heinrich Emmanuel Schröder · v1.6a5
good indi game 🎯 for relaxation with phone
- Igor Lukin
This game has been a lovely experience, especially during exam weeks. It takes your mind off of things while keeping you brain up and running. The plot and vehicles are all very interesting and exciting. I especially recommend you take the submarine from Bhayi, as that is one of the most suspenseful journeys in the game. History is twisted to fit the narrative, but most things stay largely the same. The trading elements often makes you feel like Burian's donkey. This game is very underrated.
- Aslan Ahmet Mujde · v1.6a5
Fantastic game and enjoyed it.
- Kristin Fon · v1.6a5
Very nice game, but lacks achievements/ ways of looking at previous journeys etc which diminishes the replay value
- Flokemon Go · v1.6a5
Too much blabbering. I didn't open the game to read. I will read a novel for it.
- Avnish Thakkar · v1.6a5
very replayable, been replaying for years. always fun to pick back up. played through many times over many years, don't think I've been to every city yet.
- Travis Tanner
Amazing game. Can always get a different play through depending what way you travel!
- Jordan · v1.6a5
Had some hours of fun. Great replayability.
- Doe Ray Me · v1.6a5
From my first adventure, it was a story indeed! Me and my master went towards The North Pole foolishly with whalers inside a HUGE ship contraption! Tragedy struck as we were closing the distance however, as I was forced to watch my master dying slowly to the cold, although his last moments were peaceful, that is not how I imagined things would happen. That was unexpected, it is no-ones fault.
- Kuro Parody Corpo
Truly one of the best games I've ever played. It has incredible replay value and the writing is so well done. This is a must play phone game.
- Tristen Webb
I'm in love with this marvelous game for 10 years now and have a couple ideas: -offer more potential destinations (e.g. to the west!) at the beginning, I'm getting tired of Paris and Cambridge ;) -slightly different story when replaying, like: go around the world in 120 days, but you must visit at least 3 locations on every continent etc. -make it possible to travel through the South pole .. Keep up the good work !!!
- Roshan Khan-e Zand · v1.6a5
I love this game. Spoiler alert but the North pole ice walker arc was incredibly deep, man, and I'm starting to think Jean might be bisexual
- EvilMoon StickMen · v1.6a5
Really interesting game - by choosing different routes, you can play it any number of times. The setting is the actual time period but with a fanciful steampunk flair, which adds flavor to the journey and all sorts of different things can befall you at different places/routes.
- Andrea Smith · v1.6a5
Favourite mobile game ever. Phenomenally written, so creative, endlessly replayable. Getting so used to planning routes in this game has even helped me planning trips for myself and others irl! I don't normally leave reviews but this game is fantastic
- C F · v1.6a5
love love love this game but is there another way to see foggs stats? my pixel is cutting off parts of my screen and it's impossible to see the corners - not your problem but pixel has no answers. so hoping for another option :)
- <3 Francesca
A choose-your-own-adventure game, you are pressured to travel across the globe to fulfill your boss' bet. It's a game where you have to manage a limited inventory, money, and travel times. You will encounter many events on your journey, and choosing the right or wrong choices will provide you with information like train routes, dangerous locations, or just screw you over. I dislike the latter outcomes, but it lets you have really interesting narratives, so there's that. Overall, I liked it!
- Sebastián
Uninstalled after start. I dont want to see credits when im trying to play
- Jake “Humvee” Johnson · v1.6a5
A stunning game. Makes me want to pack up a bag and buy a plane ticket, going anywhere East.
- Kamila · v1.6a5
most fun ive had playing a mobile game, I love the writing, game mechanics and choices, however I do wish there were more settings and a game log to look back on
- RC · v1.6a5
one of the best games I've ever played. so many branching storylines, and exceptional writing
- Rich Skinner
There is no game play. This "game" is a digital choose your own adventure book. it's good for that. Many hours of possibilities. All text. Zero graphics/adventure
- Shannon Marie
This is one of the absolute best games out there and it has so much replayability. My only request is I'd love to track where I went each time I play. And maybe stats of my journey. That would be cool!
- Nicole Pyles · v1.6a5
Fun little original game! Imaginative and challenging!
- Mark M. · v1.6a5
The game that's stayed on my phone for the longest unbroken time
- Jason Warren · v1.6a5
I quite enjoyed the writing and story. The game is fun, although not particularly challenging. All together a very fun experience!
- Adaelion
Amazing story that had me interested right off the start. Super fun and can not recommend it enough.
- O'Ryan Poole · v1.6a5
Frustratingly Fun. Your just trying to travel as fast as you can by tradeing, selling, buying valuable items that will help to get you there. You have to also have to plan a route and hold on to items accordingly.
- Jonathan Gomez
Really fun! Played through play pass for free and I love the RNG of it.
- Fatin Azman
This is so well written and thought out. Thank you !
- Jenstera ᓚᘏᗢ · v1.6a5
Fantastic game. Could play for hours, the story is engaging and with the number of cities each experience is different. My one wish would be the ability to look at past journeys and have a way of tracking progress (stories completed, countries travelled to, etc). It hurts my heart a little when this great story I've embarked on is lost after every return to London.
- Moo Moo · v1.6a5
I was pleasantly surprised at how well the game was made and some insinuations between Paspartout and Fogg or Paspartout with any other characters. Please try this game if you like CoG or Hosted <3
- Nor Aisyah Padzil · v1.6a5
Amazing game. Pleasant experience. Plenty of tasteful but saucy moments! I fell deeply in love with this game on the first playthrough. After a few more playthroughs I was bored and played another game. I hope these guys put out another game soon! I keep this on my phone to calm my friends and play before bed
- Moe Movesaround · v1.6a5
Might be nice if you want a strategy based novel.
- JP Grafeen
I don't normally give reviews, but this game is fantastic! I installed it out of curiosity as I love the book, and I really liked the fact that it was from the perspective of Passpartout. Very unique game, and I'm surprised it doesn't have more players! :)
- Charlie · v1.6a5
I enjoy this game very much. Love the music. Playing for a while and haven't come close to hitting every destination up. More games like this please.
