Randomized turn order, no shuffling, and multiple win and loss conditions make this a deck-building experience like no other! “This is not the end of the world. That already happened. This is what is left: us, Gravehold, and the Nameless. For generations we have taken refuge in an ancient and haunted place. It has taken our mages an aeon to hone their craft, but they are ready... and they are lethal. The breaches, the very conduits through which the Nameless travel, have become our weapon.” - Yaleesa Rhykk, Gravehold survivor The situation is bleak. The final city - Gravehold - needs the power of the breach mages to hold back the Nameless. Join the fight, and maybe… just maybe, Gravehold will live to see another dawn. Aeon’s End is a deck-building game where 1-4 mages fight cooperatively to defeat a Nameless nemesis. You begin with a starting deck of 10 cards. Each turn you play gems to gain aether, buy new gems and relics, learn new spells, and increase your casting potential by opening breaches. You can also play relics to give yourself or your allies a boost. Then prep spells to your breaches to be ready to cast them on your next turn. What makes Aeon’s End unique is how it uses randomness. Unlike other deck-building games, you do not shuffle your deck when it runs out. The order in which you discard is preserved, so plan your discards carefully to set yourself up for later. At the start of each round, the turn order deck is shuffled to determine the order of play. Will the nemesis go twice in a row, pushing back the mages’ defense? Will the mages get 4 turns in a row to set up for the coming onslaught? It can be hard to know what’s coming next when you are deep in the melee! The breach mages of Aeon’s End are not just fighting for their own survival, but the survival of all of humanity. If the city of Gravehold is ever reduced to 0 life, the mages have lost and humanity is but a memory. Protect the city at all costs! * What is included * 8 Breach Mages: • Adelheim • Brama • Jian • Kadir • Lash • Mist • Phaedraxa • Xaxos Each Mage has a unique starting card and an ability that can be charged to use in the fight. For example, Kadir has a gem that heals any mage, and an ability to let any mage prep a lot of spells. Xaxos has a spell that reveals the top card of the turn order deck and an ability that helps allies charge their abilities. You build your deck with player cards from the market. 3 gems, 2 relics, and 4 spells allow you to grow your powers to hold back the nemesis. The market is constructed from 27 unique gems, relics, and spells. Either take a randomly generated market, or build the perfect one yourself during setup. 4 Nameless Nemeses: • Carapace Queen • Crooked Mask • Prince of Gluttons • Rageborne Each Nemesis plays differently with unique mechanics to keep even the most powerful breach mages on their toes. Rageborne lays on the damage in a frontal assault using its Strike Deck, whereas the Prince of Gluttons fights more of a war of attrition, devouring player cards from the market. Aside from their unique mechanics, the Nemesis deck is created before each game from a combination of basic and nemesis-specific cards. You may encounter the same Nemesis many times, but it will never attack you in exactly the same way twice. Expand your gameplay options with In App Purchase: • Promo Pack 1 includes mage Xae from One Deck Dungeon, along with 3 digital exclusive player cards and 3 basic nemesis cards. • The Nameless includes 2 nemeses, 1 mage, and 7 player cards. • The Depths includes 1 nemesis, 3 mages, and 8 player cards. • The New Age more than doubles the content in the core game, and introduces the Expedition system! The last of humanity need your protection! Pick up the mantle, focus your breaches, and beat back the Nameless - We’re all counting on you! Aeon's End is an officially licensed product of “Aeon's End” from Indie Boards and Cards and Action Phase Games.

This update adds options to disable all in game animations or just the mage switching animations. Plus, several bug fixes have been made for phones: - The Help & Feedback button is now available on the main menu as well as in-game. - Using Kadir’s charge ability during an ally’s main phase now allows the spells returned from the discard to be prepped. - “While Prepped” spell abilities no longer disappear after looking at another mage panel. - Fixed an issue where Sage's Brand could not be discarded when selected for a nemesis card. - Adelheim's charge ability may now still be skipped after looking at another mage panel. - Fixed a problem where cards were not highlighted to discard for Energized Rubidium or other similar situations. - When decks or discard piles contain many cards, they may now all be viewed by scrolling to the left or right.

Love this game so much! We enjoy the board game as a family on game nights. I love the app even more because it’s so easy to set up. We have every board game expansion and once you’ve played them, it’s harder to set up random games. With this app, it’s a breeze, and you can play anytime anywhere. I love having a go to game for whenever I am waiting.

I’ve played the table top game, but find all the cards, shuffling, setup, and tokens to be a hassle. Some folks LOVE setting up and manipulating this stuff, but the digital game is much easier and quicker, while retaining ALL the fun of the tabletop version. A huge variety of party size, Nemeses, and cards to select keeps it fresh. I’ve played hundreds of games and still love it. Easy to play 1-4 characters as a single player and get them to work together.

One of my favorite board games crippled with the most important feature left out. I got it for $2 thinking it might be worth a play or two as a solitaire game, but nope, it’s awful. Refunded. Spirit Island is even worse with a much more outrageous pricing structure. My only hope is that someone else can license and develop these games properly after Handelabra folds.

This new version of the app fixes the startup crash of v1.2.1. I can now play the game. Thanks!

Developer response was good, and the issue was resolved. So far, enjoying learning the game. I agree that the interface is not as polished as other apps, but it does not get in the way. --- Original: On my iPad Pro, the app opens to a blank, black screen, and then crashes to the desktop.

The latest build does not load on my iPad Air 2. I see a black screen and then get dumped back out to the Home Screen. Rebooting did not help.

I can not think of a better way they could have implemented this game. There are so many little things they have done to elevate this game. Different music for bosses and sound effects. Some bosses even have effects on screen. It really shows how much thought the developers put into this adaptation of the physical version. Also, if you have not played the physical version this is a very good game to try out. I just hope they add more content because there is so much more that can be added.

Stay clear of the recent add-on, Blightlord! After downloading it, my game now crashes everytime I try to start a new game regardless of who I choose. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling; however, I’m still running into the same problem.

I play Aeon’s End with my friends every week, so when they made the port, I had to buy it. My friend owns all the expansions, but the $60 price tag for the base game was too rich for my blood. Since this was only $9, it was a deal in comparison. I’ve spent hours playing this game. In the tabletop version, you can easily spend 30 minutes setting up all the cards and mages you want. Here, setup takes about a minute, and gives just as much enjoyment. The interface takes some getting used to, but it’s easy when you get the hang of it. I set all the animations to the fastest they can go, speeding up my game. And I really like that the game does all the calculations for you, so that you don’t realize halfway through the game that you were missing out on a card’s special the whole time. I bought the newest expansion with two new bosses and the mage, and I’m excited to play them. Even with the dlc price, it’s still cheaper than buying the base tabletop game.

Awesomely good port of a good deckbuinding, maybe the best.I hope to see the expansions also ported to digital version in a future. Kudos.

And it is not always that clear how you do something or what’s going on. Sound effects are cheesy, animations are slow and ugly, wish I could skip. Pales in comparison to tabletop version.

This is my boyfriend’s and my favorite two player board game and the app is a wonderful implementation. We’ll most likely stick to the actual board game when we play together as it’s easier to keep track of your card order when using the physical cards, but I’ve had a great time playing the game solo using the app. Definitely recommend this app for anyone who wants to play a fun game while traveling! Hopeful that the developer keeps adding expansion content because this is one I keep coming back to.
- Gromallama · v1.1
Beautiful implementation. My favorite board game in an app I can play offline. I’ve has zero issues and have loved every second. I would love for expansion content to be added down the line, as well as online multiplayer. Here’s to hoping it sells well enough to do that.

I had an issue with the game rushing but after resetting my iPad it has only crashed once. Good game- a little busy of a display but it seems to play well.
