You are the Scribe - a traveller who records what the Old World leaves behind. Journey through four forgotten realms: Frostmere, Reedwater, Stonewreath, and Saltreach. In each, you encounter figures of legend. Their words are brief. Your response shapes who you become. Every choice carries weight across four traits - Insight, Resolve, Guile, Mercy. No choice is correct. No choice is wasted. Each one adds a line to your Chronicle, a personal record that no other scribe will write exactly the same way. CODEX As you travel, you unlock entries for eight figures. Read their lore. Study their four characteristic traits. Use the Compare tool to place two figures side by side and see where each one leads. TRIALS Once you have completed a realm, Trials open. Select a figure to challenge and build a loadout from eight relics. The outcome is determined entirely by trait totals - there is no randomness, no luck, no hidden variables. A hidden weakness is revealed after your first attempt, making the second approach a matter of strategy. CHRONICLE Your accumulated choices produce a title for the Scribe - one of four, shaped by whichever trait dominated your decisions. Read back through every line you wrote. No two chronicles are alike. Fully offline. No accounts, no purchases, no network access required. Progress is stored on your device.
