poor attempt at an updated version of the original, we specifically asked for Age of Empires like the old one we used to play on the old computers like the Sony Vaio came with it pre-installed but you decided to try to make it better but that's not what we asked for! next time somebody asked for something don't take it upon yourself to give them what you think they want, just give them what they asked for. this game drew heavy inspiration from starfield and it's load screens. I find it a little dull now with the constant reminds to click on every advertisements and the spam of mediocre rewards. I would say if you're not will to fork out over $2000USD on the perfect Lubu, King Arthur and Atilla build with perfect gear, mounts and rings, don't bother. I invested in archers because I liked the characters but they are absolutely useless past season 1.

I just have to tell one thing. DON'T RUIN THE FRANCHISE! You used the same engine and put a different skin, that's all. This is a game I have been waiting for years in mobile, but you ruined the expectations. You only took name and the screenshots from MS. I would have been paid even if you atleast took any effort to match with the real Age of Empires experience. But this is just another MMORPG having the same michanics. No difference. This is NOT the Age of Empires I loved playing for hours.

I see myself as an AoE veteran as I still play AoE2. This game doesn't feel like AoE. It feels forced and rushed. No freedom as in the PC version. I mean how can you upgrade a commander to level 20 with in the first 5 minutes of the game. The prices in the game is very reasonable, however once you do you first purchase, the flood gates get opened. I rather stick to the PC version. Merry Christmas and enjoy your stay!

Just another mobile game same exact formula. Not enjoyable, just clicking buttons you are told to and either waiting hours or paying to skip. It is junk don't waste your time, and definitely don't waste your money.

im editing fot another 1* theyre killing the game for f2p and all in favour of whales all gathering removed from events because kraken servers are botting instead of IP banning the users due to being super spenders fact the devs will not review this properly. adding content that f2p cannot catchup because krakens are maxed including things like new gear upgrades having 20% more eliminations servers such as 259 forced into era with servers 1 year older cannot make gap. all events based off money.

doesn't connect to the servers, installed it and loaded it up tried to join the server it gave me and would not connect to the server is this a UK thing only? or is it a virgin internet issue you haven't bothered fixing?. couldn't change the server so uninstalled the game... if your bringing out a game at least make it playable/connectable for everyone first!

There overall there is a lot of things to buy that is thrown at you as a new player. The upgrade system for heroes is way to complicated and finally the gear system is based on rolling for maybe getting the chance to craft the one you want. It was a pretty bad early experience that I can't continue to play.

I did not like the tutorial but that is cause I have played since PC, not happy with the pay to win, it is free to play but the inequality an loopholes are outrageous, I have been on 6 servers so far and even paid a few hundred myself to level up but the rules are not enforced, as far as cyber bullying , and unfair advantages. You Cannot keep up with the whales unless you free play round the clock, play smart and purchase special heros and boosts that give you overall advantage instead of coins.

It is just like any other Chineseium base builder. Got some heros from history. But at the end of the day is exactly like all the cell phone games, with minor detail changes. Upgrade, build, train, conquer...but don't forget we have a plethora of upgrades that you can buy. Why would anyone? Im sure that some woulf find it great, me not so much. Too bad it is using AOE's good name to create this time waster.

Okay. I get it. I was giving the game a chance despite the negative reviews and knowing the devs only want money. But these bugs lately and glitches have caused the game to be unplayable. Play any other game in this genre instead. I am done playing so that the game can freeze and not give me credit for the time I spent playing. Minigames were the only decent thing about this game but they constantly freeze and glitch. How does this huge company release something this bugged? Do better
