Not an average game

On the plus side, this game is extensive. You can play for years building your city. There are lots of games within the game. On the down side, if you don’t spends $1000s per month, you’ll fall behind after about a year. The game hinges on alliances with other players. Those who outspend you will gang up on you and force how you play and what conditions you play under. In the end, you’ll walk away from this game and abandon what you spent. But Camel already has your money, so good luck. This game caters to big spenders. Save your time and money. Walk away.

Huge time and $ sink

If you have plenty of time and money, it’s a decent way to kill time. The best thing about this game is the people you run into, and together you plan and attack against other factions. But unless you spend heavily, you pretty much have to log in all the time just to keep up with everybody else. If you take even a few days off, your city gets burned and resources plundered.

Boring world building game

Deleted after one day because I was bored. Just another game with different scenery, where you have a little fun and zombies, but then the rest of it is world building and limited by time or if you’re able to spend money on the game. This game is meant for people who don’t have a life. Don’t waste your time; go outside, read a book, do something else.

They are scammers.

Today was the last drop. I played Medici today. I used all buffs ( attack and hp 1 hour and Medici hp and attack tonics for 500 gold each. I also use syringe boost. With 740k troops I was not able to pass boss level 13. I constantly upgrading officers and their skills. Every week. And yet was not able to pass level 13. And last week I’ve stuck on level 17. Week before on level 16. I won’t spend any dime on those scammers anymore. This was really last drop. They already showed their tricky techniques on Infiniti zombies. Enough is enough

This game is a scam it does not matter about skill it’s all about how much money you have. You can build a city for 3 years and watch it be obliterated in 1 attack. Don’t waste your money or time. Shame on you Camel. Also, the advertising they do is misleading and they turn off comments so past players can’t warn you.

Aggressive players

The game is full of fun upgrades and challenges but forces you into conflict with other players whether you like it or not. The most powerful player are also the most aggressive and basically run the game. You can spend months and hundreds of dollars upgrading your city only to loose all that progress and money you invested to some aggressive players. Spending hundreds of dollars is very easy to do in this game. It’s set up to make you spend!

Decent war game.

I just hit level 10, and I bet the zombie fighting in the streets gets less and less as you progress. Then it’ll be like every other fighting game out there. It’s already taking me longer and longer to get to fight the zombies in the streets.

Expensive (free) game

You need to spend a $100+ on this (free) to play game just to get anywhere and have a weapon/ army worth a damn. Highly disappointing because it seems like fun until you’re forced to pay to get any further. Also, the video ad (in YouTube) shows completely different gaming (shooting huge zombies from a helicopter). Where that is in this game is a mystery. This is the gameplay that got me to download it. Once I was playing it was nowhere to be found. Almost like it was a completely different game altogether. What a disappointment!

Camel doesn’t own up to their mistakes/glitches

EDIT: I see the developer’s response about “contact customer service.” I did that already, before I left this review. and they refused to own up to the fact that the game glitched. Whatever money I spent on the game in the past, they’ll never get another cent from me now. While the game is certainly pay-to-play, you can still have fun and be a successful participant with plenty of time and patience. However the game does glitch fairly frequently, and if something goes wrong during one of these “glitches” and your city gets attacked, you lose a lot of troops and battle power, etc, Camel will do nothing to support you. All of that time and patience ends up being wasted. Unless you are a big spender (this is where the “pay-to-play” comes into effect). You see, if you spend a certain amount of money, you get VIP privileges and are treated much differently than the rest of us “commoners.” To this layman, it seems to fall under the “fair use and practices” doctrine, but that’s for people with legal degrees to determine. It’s unfortunate, because the game can be quite fun, along with the ability to interact with fellow players. Most of the events and side quests are very enjoyable. It’s just too bad that Camel chooses (and to be clear, it is a conscious choice they are making) to blatantly ignore the effect that their software mishaps have on their customers, and basically treat them like trash. Also, the way many of the female characters are depicted is bordering on soft porn and is way over the top.

Great game but….

This is a great game , great people to play with but it turning into Game of war. You really do have to spend money to actually enjoy game and grow beyond farm size. Voids you have spend money to recover troops beyond their 5000 free revive potion. Steel, mineral ,gold and uranium take an eternity to gather needs better game play on that . This is why people quit the game and nations are dying.

Spending contest? Complete and total scam

When you open this app, they bombard you with no less than 7 advertisements that you have to “X” out. Tonight’s flavor was “Journey of Surprises”… Can you guess what that surprise was? A DECORATION. But it’s not free, you get the privilege of PURCHASING that decoration for $200. Let me break it down… When you purchase ornament, it gives you a 0.03% boost over your opponents. Overtime, the wealthy players purchased several of these decorations, and they become invincible to regular players, so the only way you can defeat them is by… PURCHASING THE ORNAMENT. And then the cycle continues… Get it? Do you see how it’s a scam now? No matter how much talent you have, how much brain power you have, how much time you put in, you will never, ever, EVER, EVER in your life, be able to compete a player who’s paid for upgrades. Even if you treat this game like a full-time job and put in 8 hours a day, over the span of 5 years, you still wouldn’t be able to collect enough XP to put a scratch on the wallet warriors. Do you hear me? Not even a scratch. Think about that, for a second… When only way to advance is the spend money, you end up in a competition to outspend the other players. That’s a pyramid scam. AND THE BIGGEST INSULT OF ALL? This app literally has SPENDING CONTESTS. No, I’m not joking. At least once a week, the app initiates a challenge where the team who spends the most money wins a stupid ornament!!! ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF NEVADA, yet Apple allows these Chinese con artists to pray upon, and rip off low will-powered Americans. I was one of them and they scammed me, but because they misrepresented their game through social media ads, I was able to recoup 100% of my credit card disputes and get back $800 of my money, and I suggest you do the same. Any smart gamer will uninstall this app, because it’s not a game, it’s an absolute scam. And you wouldn’t believe how much money these people are making. One guy in our alliance spent over $25,000 on his city. Did it make him happy? No. He was always miserable. Camel Games has cracked the code on how to scam millions and millions of dollars by preying on people’s insecurities. Everyone who downloaded this app is depressed, lonely, or gullible. Do you know how I know they are gullible? Because if they weren’t, they would’ve never clicked on the advertisement and downloaded this app or given this corrupt company a single dollar. And to add insult to injury, they still won’t fix all of the bugs and glitches. Some of them have existed for years. With all the revenue that they are raking in, you would think that they would reinvest a small portion of that money into making an enjoyable gaming experience, but instead they pocket the money and never add any substantial improvements to the app. Notice how I always call this an “app” and not a game. That’s because it’s not a game… IT’S A SCAM.

Dont be fooled by ads

The mini games is whats advertised and draws you into a download. However the mini game is an insignificant minority of the game play. How about make a game that’s is only the mini game! Instead you are building bases that takes forever, they dangle another mini game that the hook you with at the begging once you build your base to a certain level eventually they funnel you down to the point where you have no choice but to spend money to upgrade your base to get to a 2 minute mini game.

Hardcore Pay to Play

I played this game for several hours knowing fully well there was going to be some pay to play but omg did I misunderstand the level of pay to play this is. You pretty much cannot advance past a certain point without spending money. You are stuck waiting hours to move forward without paying. The actual combat element is super fun…you know the little tiny snippet you see in the ads. Yea that part is a blast but that part is literally 3% of the game the rest of the time you’re essentially doing chores around your city. Love it for two seconds then immediately became overwhelmed with the amount it tried pushing you to buy upgrades.

Zombies fun, city management is dumb

I came here because I kept seeing the lame ads everywhere. The zombie shooting aspect of the game is kind of fun in a brainless sort of way. They throw in this city management aspect where you have to buy buildings and upgrades and manage your squad mates, level them up, etc. I guess there’s a troop management thing and farms you have to build too. I get that’s the “strategic” side of the game but it’s all pretty silly. I just wanna shoot zombies, man.

They Forced Me to Quit

I have played this game quite a lot over the past year and overall I really enjoyed it until today. Despite the screenshots, this is more of a strategy game with a touch of 3rd person zombie killing. You build a city, gather resources, raise an army, join an alliance with other players to participate in events, all to upgrade the city, improve the army, and battle players in opposing alliances in your particular world. Once you’re established in a world, you can’t change. Recently it was announced that my world would be merged with another. Inside each world are a few super powerful players who dictate rules for their respective worlds. My existing world has been good but The rules are different in the new world and today I was notified that I would not be allowed to advance further because I’m not strong enough. I actually feel a certain kind of way right now. I don’t want to quit but I don’t have any choice because the strong players can and will swat me like a fly and end my journey on a whim. So thus ends my time and money spent on this game.

Boring. Why can’t I just attack zombies?

Got this game because the clips posted in various ads seemed fun. It’s very tedious and you hardly ever get to actually shoot at zombies. Nearly all of the time you spend on this game is clicking on things and waiting on timers. This is rarely a tower defense game, it’s just Farmville set in a zombie dystopia. I want to play a game, not wait an hour for my science station to get to level 6 so that I can get my town hall to level 5 in order to get attempts to recruit officers to raise my XP and then go to the world map to tap on things that each take several minutes or longer to happen so that I can…it goes on and on and on, and after you’ve been playing for an hour you’ve gotten to actually shoot zombies a few times at most. I find it really annoying and bit insulting that the ads for the game don’t show you what playing the game is actually like.

Game uses deceptive marketing to lure players into what is a mostly boring Pay2Win game. No amount of strategy, tactics or any gameplay going to change the simple fact - you have pay to win the game or enjoy past a few simple hours. Unfair and if you spend the money, you can cheat by purchasing an account

In world 175 a player named Uji purchased an account from gold. The most powerful account in 175. This violation of game rules. Has been reported over 25 times. And evidence has been shown also evidence where he bragged on national chat that if an alliance spent more money then him maybe camel would ban him. Camel refuses to enforce their own rules, preventing cheating. As long as you spend enough money. It appears this company has no integrity.
