The more complex the elemental composition of the compound, the higher the score you earn, allowing you to find your own efficient scoring path. • Your score increases exponentially as the number of reacting compounds grows and the chain reactions last longer. Strategize your placement to achieve the highest possible scores. • From basic reactions like acid-base neutralization and hydrolysis to advanced organic chemistry, combine real-world chemical reactions to design and enjoy spectacular chain reactions. Explore the periodic table and collect elements. • Conquering numerous stages organized by atomic number, from Hydrogen (H, 1) to Krypton (Kr, 36), allows you to explore chemistry from basic to advanced levels step-by-step. • Every time you complete a stage, you can collect new elements or unlock new chemical reactions that expand the possibilities of your experiments and your scientific toolkit. • Upgrade each element to significantly boost your scoring efficiency. As you upgrade specific elements, the value of every compound containing them increases, letting you reach much higher scores. • Acquire and upgrade organic functional groups to improve synthesis efficiency. Even compounds with complex structures can be created much more easily and quickly using upgraded functional groups. Alcyone is continuously improved through regular updates. been playing around with this game for a while now and its been so fun! it reminds me a bit of 2048 but there's much greater complexity and the temperature also influences your strategy. i accidentally beat the game today while trying to make the biggest organic molecule possible, and it was really fun getting there! i only wish there were more stages to play game aside, the ui itself is very clean and the game works perfectly. i do wish more credits were given when finishing a stage so that it would be possible to spend more on reactions, but it's already pretty complex and fun as-is im an undergraduate chemistry-adjacent (materials science) student and its pretty awesome to see compounds ive worked with before popping up here

I am no chemist but I really enjoyed this game. Worth the money, no ads. Kind of like 2048 but truly has its own unique mechanics and it is obvious the developer has talent. I just recently completed all stages. For anyone who is struggling and looking for help, try doing N2O4+ N2H2, and also C6H6 + H2O + H2O2 for relatively easy massive points. I am not sure exactly how the scoring system works, but it seems like its exponential relative to how many atoms are in the molecule. Hydrocarbons chains generate a lot of points but can be difficult to reliably generate. I would really like if the game did a better job at explaining/demonstrating the reactions like hydrolysis. Each element/compound has its own encyclopedia page which is cool, but more work should be done to explain the game mechanics, or at least more to read about different chemical reactions. Overall great game, recommend.

The best way i can describe this, is kind of like a roguelike chemistry/alchemy game! i really love it. i love to see all of the real world combinations. I wish that there was a way to start further into the game rather than starting at the beginning each time. There should be a mode or option where you can choose elements to start at or bring with you into the game!! i love this game!!

Great game to kill time with and very fun. However, I would have benefitted greatly from a very brief tutorial and tips as some of the game mechanics are frustrating even if you know chemistry decently well. For example, it took me way too long to realize that reactions changed the temperature which change matter states, as well as struggling with how to maneuver elements into the proper spot. Also, I ruined several runs by accidentally sending my combination in the wrong direction, could there be a limited undo feature (some sort of token/currency mechanism?) to salvage longer runs without affecting the challenge? Thanks! Edit: Amending my review to 5 stars because the dev incorporated undo and retry stage mechanisms that make the game just forgiving enough to not be overly frustrating. Cheers!

Great app and very addicting. Though I think some UI or About pages can be helpful. Such as 1)Acid Base Reactions 2)What the colors mean? 3) Describing or showing some of the misc reactions such as various Lithium Salts or other base reactions with water or An About page could be very otherwise. Some of the reactions are hard to find or understand. I suggest a Help or About tab or some other way so people can understand the colors or types of reactions.

For how expensive the game is I was really hoping you could go about it and select from the levels you have already done. I love the little summaries of all the compounds but definitely would like to see some kind of selection screen. Or even maybe a custom run? Or maybe Organic versus inorganic? Or Molecular versus Ionic????

Love this game. It's like 2048 but the density of the compound determines whether it goes up or down. I just wish you can actually react differently chemicals to get multiple products.

EDIT: I really hate the dark mode. Please add a way to have light mode. I love this game! It’s so addicting, and I get so excited every time I make something I’ve heard of before (“OMG! I GOT SERINE! I GOT GLUCOSE! I GOT UREA!”) However, here are some things that could be improved - it’s not clear what the processes you can buy actually do. This should be explained, because when a bunch of your compounds just disappear and you get 1600 points, that’s cool and all, but I want to know why - it’s also not clear what the colors mean. Are they base and acid? - some kind of achievement system would be cool for people like me who are NOT good at this game. This way we could learn what features are in it (like acid base interactions) which would otherwise take a long time to figure out. Don’t have them be “in your face” but have a menu where you can see interactions you haven’t had yet, or what molecules you didn’t make yet.

Super fun and cool. Needs the ability to save the game progress though! Sometimes a game can go on for a lengthy amount of time, it’s sad when it’s going well and you have to take a break and when you re-enter the app, it reloads and you have to start from the beginning again.

Pretty fun! After playing for a while, heres some things I would like to see/some things that could be improved. - When viewing combinations, it would be cool to be able to click the molecules and it would redirect to their info page - A dark mode - A more flushed out tutorial/information pop-ups, I had a bit of a hard time understanding how to play at first, I feel people who aren’t knowledgeable about chemistry would have a harder time picking it up. - Saved high scores/menu screen!! Overall, I can tell this has huge potential and I’m really excited for whats to come. Thanks!
