Fun game but…..
Nice simple game to play but some of the events they run you are forced into playing. The screen pops up upon opening the app to play the event but there is no option to opt out nor can you you continue with clicking join highly annoying so I don’t play for a several days until the event is over

Complete P2W
The game started out good by providing daily freebies with watching ads. It soon became a pay to win game after a week or so with all ad freebies being taken away. Even by spending $50+ a month doesn’t help you complete all the event achievements so be warned.

Pretty Fun... But
The AI art in the beginning really did slap me in the face. I'm aware that not every asset in the game is AI generated, but I do think that at the very least replacing the intro with some actual art to not scare off a crowd of people who want to play the game.
That's really the only grievance I have for the game... Because (again) everything in this game isn't AI and they paid actual artists SOMETIMES. But the generated images for certain things does make it look cheap.
The story is interesting to me. I like a handful of the characters (except that one guy) and the human made art is very good looking.
Another smaller thing is that I do wish that as you leveled up, so would the energy recharge.

Name Confusion
I love this game, it has such beautiful graphics and a very interesting storyline. Although I do not believe in reincarnation or any of the Chinese folklore as a Christian, I did grow up around it. I have one problem with this game so far and that is the name of the male servant. Wan has two permanent helpers in the Teahouse, a young girl and a young g man. The young man is initially named Zea but then further along in the story his name is suddenly changed to Ryen and then back to Zea. The name keeps changing randomly even though both names refer to the same character. This is not a first and last name situation either. I simply wanted to point the minor detail out. Otherwise, it is an outstanding game. The use of energy to produce matching objects helps gaming addicts like myself take a break, otherwise I would just keep matching until the game was over. There is also no getting stuck either if you fill the whole board. You simply have to delete a few pieces. I also like 2x production button where you can simply produce the next level of object instead of having to waste time producing the smallest object and merging all the way up. It saves space for when you have to merge to even higher level of objects. I really like this game and highly recommend it.

Good story
Good game and variety of events. Usually these games have unreasonably timed events that you need to pay the last bit of rewards for, and they do have those here too, but they also have events that can be easily completed with nice rewards too.
I also like the story, I love the main character, I want her to succeed. There aren’t any romance choices, it’s just the story, so for now I hate the man with the fan, and am rooting for the white haired man. Her cousin is also very cute, so there are cute girl bonding moments too.
There is a part in the game where you have side stories with the guys but you have to choose if you want to invest gold in side stories or main story.

Level 86 and I quit
The story line was so captivating that I was glad to spend a few bucks a week for bonus prizes on weekly challenges, but after weeks of playing all of a sudden it’s more money on energy and I still can’t win the challenge. And then they want more money to extend the prize window. Now I know I could play daily for free and continue the story.
I am competitive. This game has really disappointed me because it was too in love with the story and I am not wasting my real money on digital content that just gets more expensive. I feel like the app knows I’m a whale and makes the game harder so I’ll spend more real money. No thank you.

Pure greed, zero respect for players
This game is an absolute disappointment. The developers clearly don’t care about their players - all they want is to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. You buy packs with real money - but you don’t get all items in time. Then the game forces you to buy extra energy packs. You bought pack for 3.99 so you need to spend extra 20 or more to be able to unlock the items you paid for in time. This happened many times. Disgusting practice. Uninstalling and warning everyone…

Slow down
I DL’d it bc I kept getting the ad in another app & it looked cool. I can’t even get read the prologue bc it plays too fast & on auto for some reason. I want the backstory of the game. I closed it 3 times to retry to read it but still no luck, it goes too fast for me to catch what the villain is saying. Can you please change the auto read to manual?

Simple fun game but energy system is a bit annoying
Been playing this for two days now, I like the story premise itself, the characters are surprisingly fleshed out for it being a simple mobile game. I have two complaints that I hope the developers are able to work on:
1. The teahouse decorations are inconsistent in quality, the line thickness and textures of the items vary wildly and some of the furniture pieces are blurrier than others which makes decorating slightly frustrating as I’m picking whichever looks the best rather than my preferred colors and design.
2. While I appreciate that the character assets are animated, they suffer from the same issue of having texture and quality issues. Some seem to have a lower pixel file than others, and in certain expressions you can see the seam between the blank face and the moving parts of the face, notably around the eyes.
I hope you consider improving the quality of the game because it is otherwise very fun with a good gameplay loop.

Good game over all
The only thing I hate is how much energy you spend later in the game to try and achieve one order. So at the beginning you feel like you are getting so much play time and, as with all mobile games, that eventually dwindles down into nothing. Thank fully the game does reward you with gems and energy but it never seems to be enough which makes me weary about buying anything for the game as it won’t take you very far.

It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but it doesn’t play like the ads make it out to be. It’s got a good story for a merge game. I haven’t ran into any paywalls (yet).
The ad I’m referring to is basically like dinerdash (I just aged myself lol) where you help customers and run orders. I’ve seen a few more ads that are more closely linked to actual game play though.
I mean what mobile game doesn’t use sneaky ads these days? Like I said it’s a good game just a heads up.

It’s fun but…
I have thoroughly enjoyed the game so far, but after you reach level 10, I feel the amount of energy earned from completing tasks aren’t enough for consecutive gameplay. You can only watch a limited amount of ads for more energy, and I don’t think that’s fair. Some people can’t afford for in-app purchases. I want to be able to play this game without worry, but being stuck without ability to play because of the lack of energy points (also have an issue with the energy cap staying at 100) turns me off from wanting to continue, which is a shame because it’s a very cute game. I just think more opportunities to gain energy in order to play would be useful. If you’re unable to afford in app purchases, then I’d advise to not play this game.

Amazing
Really an amazing game, lots of free rewards from events that help progress through the story. Lots of events and things to do. Gameplay is fun and the story/artwork is beautiful. The story is so good i would watch a cdrama based off of it. If they made an open world game like this i would spend all my money on it 😭 i have been looking for a game like this and if it was an open world it would be the my favorite game in existence 😭❤️

It’s so-so
I love the art style and appreciate the lack of tokenism in the story. However, the AI usage is obvious, and it cheapens the look of the game. All of these merge-2 games use AI art, so I can’t be too harsh, but it’s really obvious here. It could also use some QOL improvements, such as placing items next to the lowest level item of the same type to make organization easier like Gossip Harbor does. This wouldn’t be my first choice for a merge-2 game, but I’d still recommend it overall.

Fun but expensive
I want to start by saying that I do enjoy this game, but I absolutely hate that the cost of everything continuously goes up. I understand that ya’ll are greedy and want money, but it’s insane to keep jacking the prices up. Why can’t the cost of each “chapter/episode” be the same? Why does each “chapter” cost more and more with every level you progress? Starts out with 15 coins or even 50 or 60 coins, now I’m up to 90 coins for each episode and it’s frustrating. I feel bad for those who get addicted to games like this and spend so much money trying to continue their progress. Why does almost everything cost energy and then the further you progress the more energy you have to spend to make the items that the customers are requesting because they get more “advanced”. Though I do enjoy the graphics and the story, I do not enjoy the rest of it 😩

Fun but also annoying
It’s a fun game but it doesn’t take long to run out of the energy you need to get items to merge. You can purchase more energy but I’m not about that, especially so early into playing a game. The most annoying part is how often they try to get you to “bind” the account. I get that it’s so you don’t lose progress or purchases but if I don’t care about that and I decline, I should be getting asked to do it every day I open the app. Another annoying this is that I had to download an “upgrade” immediately after downloading the game, weird that it didn’t download the most up to date version right away, and then it had another “upgrade” to download less than a week later. It won’t let you play until you download them. I don’t want to have to download upgrades every week. If you don’t mind that stuff, you’ll have fun.

Max energy capacity too low for higher levels
Fun initially, but at higher levels, you can barely make one item for an order without exhausting your entire energy count of 100. Since higher level items need more merges and therefore more energy, the energy capacity should also increase as you level up or there should be better ways to earn energy to keep the user engaged. The limited time events are fun and cute, but it’s not enough to keep the user playing. If their objective is to force users to pay for rubies, then they’ll lose out on a lot of the player base by doing this. Most of us just like the graphic and play the game.

Love the game, but feel like some of the art is AI
Imma go right out and say it. I love this game. This is one of the best merge games with a storyline I know because it is not hard to unlock the storyline and it starts right off the bat rather than beating around the bush, it is not hard to play the game, it doesn’t actually take that long for things to recharge, and they have regular events with very few ads. It’s also very f2p safe, where it doesn’t feel like I’m missing out on a lot just because I don’t want to spend money. Unfortunately, it does feel like they use AI for some of their scenes, where some things feel like they are in different art styles completely, minor inconsistencies in a few scenes, and the way their ads for the game are styled feel very much like AI. I love the game, and will continue to play it, but that is something that made me mildly uncomfortable when I started noticing. If it’s just animator error or the animators trying different styles, I absolutely understand and would be willing to change my rating for the game to 5 stars.

Space Hog
Why is this game insistent on demanding more space than games I have that are twice as large? I’m sick of having to offload every app I have Just to play this one game. My other games do Not do this.
