The longer you play, the more adds you see until you’re watching an add ever puzzle. At that point removing ads costs $10 instead of $7.99. The app is slick and polished, I like it. It’s really fun and combines different ideas I really like, BUT, it has soooo many adds and it has so many features locked behind micro transactions. I paid to remove the ads and I still feel like I need to keep paying to play the way I want to.
- ChAaron · v1.5.10
It’s such a fun game, the competitive system is… interesting, to say the least. I’d say a 9/10. It’s great!
- Anonymous #1001 (ish) · v1.5.10
Quite simply on of the best logic games on the App Store. Starts simple but gets incredibly challenging and the logical leaps are golden. I instantly paid to remove ads because I saw myself playing this a lot. There’s a little polish to be had but it shines right away. Someone puzzles get stuck finished and don’t trigger the ending screen, and the level select could be a little clearer. If you like logic puzzles, this is it.
- Dammannator · v1.5.10
This is super fun and addicting. Love this game!!
- Lizbeth010 · v1.5.10
I love the game in itself but no forced adds makes it a 6/5, except the App Store can’t rate that high so 5 stars
- Pigster 2639254 · v1.5.10
Quickly devolves from logic to guessing game.
- ScottMsubguy · v1.5.10
Early tutorials are excellent and puzzle difficulty grows reasonably. Ad frequency is acceptable (hope it continues this way!) the sticker and puzzle piece 'rewards' seem superfluous but they can be ignored. All in all a fun game!
- Gneen17 · v1.5.10
Upon completing the apprentice sticker board, it tells me to finish my collection. But I didn’t open the pack that gives you the stickers. So when I hit ok, I’m stuck having to select the sticker collection. But I can’t bc I need to open the 5x5 sticker booster pack from completing the last set. When I completed it, the game got stuck loading you won pop up, so I left the game. Now I can’t play the game being stuck going to sticker collection, but can’t bc u need to open a booster pack.
- Gffdgjitd · v1.5.10
I was in love with this game from the start - the colours, the music, the puzzles - and only grew to love it more when I learned the “sweep” button
- ioi lol ioi · v1.5.10
great game tho
- larhe har · v1.5.10
I gave this 4 stars only because it sometimes glitches out when your tap on the screen. This makes you get things wrong for no reason. Other than that this is a great game.
- LipBanjo · v1.5.10
Wouldn't work on my iPad, so I deleted the game.
- cmto60550 · v1.5.8
This is by far one of the best puzzle apps I've ever played. Of course this is hugely subjective because I love games like minesweeper and its variations. (Check out dragon sweeper btw). The rules are interesting. The combonations of rules brings such an interesting challenge to gameplay. Seriously love it. I like using my earned currency to buy new color palettes. Its a cute way to encourage collection and customization and its f2p friendly. My reason for four stars instead of the five it truly deserves: the update made changing game rules even dumber. Used to be, you got three shuffles of rule combos to switch to. That's fine. I didn't like that either too much because it basically enticed you to play ads for more shuffles. But, I had at least 9 rules to choose from. Always. However NOW, you get 3 shuffles to use individually on the three rules available. So that's only 6 rule options. So net less than before. AND once you choose a rule you have to wait some 4 hours (I WAS WRONG IS 8 HOURS) or whatever to accrue currency to buy/swap to a new one. No ad watch to get more options. I'm pretty engrossed in my puzzles and I regularly clear a rule to lvl 11 within 4 hours it seems. Thus "mastering" it so I can replay it later. So now I just have to replay a rule I've already done (which is fine but I like exploring more combos), or I wait. Which means now I'm not on the app watching ads or anything. I have to just shrug and close out the app. Doesn't seem very smart from a "milk users for every ad possible" standpoint. Or I can buy with earned currency the ability to get more rules. Except that's the same currency for more hearts if I run out of lives which for certain rule combos happens more often than I'd like to admit. I liked the way it was before. The new way does not encourage me to play the game. It encourages me to spend currency so I run out faster and to put the game down after I finish a rule and wait until I can play a new one. All this said, I still enjoy the game far to much to delete it over this, but it will force me to just not play as often it seems. (And view less ads btw). I've sworn off ever spending money in mobile games again, so I will never buy currency or the monthly membership. So it just funnels players like me into a slump waiting around for the rule change. Bummer.
- AlenaDragonne · v1.5.7
This is a very unique puzzle game. It has a lot of ways to customize what you want from the game. It does have ads but for me the game is definitely worth it
- Everdellian05 · v1.5.7
Actually difficult puzzles. Very reasonable amount of ads. Not a bunch of filler junk. I never leave reviews but this game deserves 100 stars. EDIT: you guys should create an official discord. Puzzle discussions, event discussion, etc.
- Popiop4 · v1.5.7
There are now so many ads that it’s not worth playing. A pity since it’s kind of a fun game.
- Webster_Guy · v1.5.7
The normal difficulty puzzle for 7/1/2026 is bugged or made wrong. Other than that, fun game!
- TheTrueChickenlord · v1.4.3
This app is very fun for the first day or so, but the rules become increasingly convoluted and it does a bad job of explaining them. It also has some weird sticker reward system that it doesn’t explain but tries to sell reward stickers instead. My phone gets hot running this game, it soon starts throwing unskippable ads, and battery life is suddenly 30% gone because of background activity from this app. Will be deleting.
- Scottmill · v1.4.3
It is incredibly frustrating to have your ticket not be returned if you don’t perfectly pass the level. I should only lose a ticket when I lose a level, makes me not want to play and makes the harder rules harder to learn. I enjoy the concept of the game but the tickets are frustrating.
- kmt:) · v1.4.2
The game is glitched and I am unable to do anything. Very disappointing.
- rjxhskksnd · v1.4.2
it’s rare to find a puzzle game that keeps you intrigued, often it gets too hard to keep going or it’s too easy and i lose interest. this game has lots of different rulesets and even gives you chances to go back to easier rules sometimes to give your brain a break. the hard puzzles are definitely tough and i’ve yet to crack the hard difficulty daily puzzles, but i want to keep training because it’s so fun. the puzzles are effective, the UI is a ton of fun (and customizable), and i’ve been really impressed by the tutorials. it’s so satisfying making sweeps and filling that grid!
- dancingdiva939 · v1.4.2
The not complex clues could use a little better explanation. I feel I learn how rules truly work only through error instead of through tutorial. Errors cost lives, and those are limited. The ability to learn the new skill must be done in fits and starts.
- josh1ng · v1.3.3
Let me start by saying that I really love this game. It’s unique and interesting. Challenging but not too overly difficult. I love the hint system…how it helps guide you to the correct solution rather than simply revealing the answer. I love all the different rules and how they’re combined for unique play experiences. It keeps the game fresh and interesting. I don’t quite understand the sticker packs. I think that’s unnecessary and doesn’t add to the play value. It says you can use them to decorate your icon but I can’t figure out how to do that. My biggest complaint is that I can’t select the rules I want to play. I understand that you need to reach level 10 to master a rule or combination of rules to be able to choose it freely. But there are some rules…those from the beginning of the game…that never appear in the rules list so that I can master them. I am a comletionist and it drives me crazy that I can’t finish off those categories. I have refreshed until I am blue in the face and watched ads to get extra refresh attempts and they simply will not appear as an option. In fact, I have gotten the message “There are no more categories “ multiple times, even though those pesky 2 that I am sitting at chapter 7 & 9 never appeared. Please, please fix this so my OCD doesn’t drive me totally insane.
- JenMomma5476 · v1.3.3
It’s a fun and unique puzzle game with different modes to provide unique challenges. I like that you never have to guess, and can just use the provided clues. It’s my new favorite puzzle game. As for ads, they aren’t excessive, you can skip them quickly, and the game background music (which is amazing by the way) continues instead of the ad sound, which is much less annoying and keeps me mindset.
- Random iPad Gremlin · v1.3.3
Color Sweeper is by far the single best puzzle/game on the App Store. Honestly, it would be more accurate to call the thing a system rather than a simple game. A normal game like this would have included one or two clue sets and been done with it. This game offers constant variation on its mechanics and systems such that, after a month of it on my phone, it never gets old. I cannot possibly recommend this game enough. That said, I do have one criticism. Occasionally, whether due to a clue set that provides a low amount of information or not enough spatial reasoning, a player may be forced to guess the color of a cell. The odds might be great: “I know out of these six cells that five of them are red, so I have a five-in-six shot of getting it right. It’s just a question of which cell I pick.” This is the only time I get frustrated with the game. Normally, if you mull over the clues, you can figure out the answer without guessing anything. Just play it slow, and you’ll do fine. So, on the rare occasion when a player is forced to guess something, even when gauging probabilities, it feels stilted—like it doesn’t quite fit with the rest of the experience. It’s not an atrocious design decision, but it is frustrating nonetheless.
- token opinion · v1.3.3
Great fun logic puzzles, well executed. The rules are creative, well balanced, and harmonious. The “sweep” mechanism to color cells you’ve ruled out all other colors for, and the double tap to rule out nearby cells once one has all neighbors accounted for, makes the game much more fun and quick to play than typical ones where you have to fill everything in. The ads are relentless and detract. Make them less often and more valuable or something.
- Nobody01773 · v1.3.3
Scratches a logic puzzle itch. I appreciate how this game slowly builds up new skills with tutorials and practice, which keeps things interesting. Daily challenges at three different levels are a really nice feature that I come back for as soon as they’re available.
- JessieSeashells · v1.3.3
This is a good logic game. Lots of choices for game choices.
- km242023 · v1.3.3
This game scratches the perfect itch in my brain I love it so much. I had to get a new phone and lost all my progress on the game but I love it so much I was fine starting over.
- NathanWPD · v1.3.3
Some puzzle types are easier than others and that makes for a good experience. The tricky ones are actually tricky! And the increasing difficulty is welcome. So yeah, I paid for it, and it’s been worth every penny
- genkiboy0 · v1.3.3
This game is addicting because it has so many different variations.
- Sweetdee mindy · v1.3.3
I typically stick to logic puzzles like Sudoku. I see this and felt hesitant, but I’m here to tell you that this game is legit! The different rules (and combinations of rules) keep the game fresh and interesting.
- CurlyQue1983 · v1.3.3
The first 30 minutes of the game are ad free, then you’ll start seeing ads. If you enjoy the beginning of the game, pay the $8 to get rid of ads. I promise you won’t regret it. The game starts out simple, but the addition of extra rules keeps things interesting. The game gets even more fun when you unlock the Hard Rule.
- Plasmag · v1.3.3
One of the best puzzle games I have played. Sticking with it even though I have gotten through all of the main levels. Definitely worth it after paying for ad removal.
- Zgfrygv · v1.3.3
Honestly a great concept, but not worth it if you don’t want to pay for ads. It gets to the point where there’s an ad after every single round, and you have to close out of the app and restart it because there’s no way to close the ad in game.
- thepinkpiano · v1.2.3
My game is stuck forcing me to both open a pack and finish a sticker at the same time. As such, I am unable to do either and the game is just stuck greyed out on the pack opening screen. I would love to play but it is currently impossible
- Gizmo2255 · v1.2.3
I love the game. However, it ridiculous that not only do you have to solve the puzzle to not lose a life, but you always have to solve it without making a single mistake. It’s extremely frustrating especially because you only have 5 “tickets” and the reset time is 30 minutes. It’s ridiculous, and I don’t know how much longer I will play.
- Hydginvfr · v1.2.3
Love the gameplay - easy to pick up but has a lot of depth. I’m even okay with the ads - they have to make money somehow. But I’m very frustrated by the ticket system. It punishes even making a SINGLE mistake in a level. If you run out of tickets you have to wait 30 minutes for it to refresh. It costs 600 coins to refresh 1 ticket, and the smallest amount of coins you can buy is 1,500 (priced at $0.99) So you’re paying around $0.50 per mistake made in a level. Sounds small, but the further you go, the more mistakes you will make. Imagine if you had to pay $0.50 each time you took damage in a Mario game or put a the wrong number in a Sudoku puzzle! One of two things needs to happen: 1 - Ticket is not refunded only if the player loses all 3 hearts 2 - When the player clears a level without making any mistakes, their ticket should be refunded AND they should gain an extra one.
- Platinumcrux · v1.2.3
This logic puzzle game takes my love of sudoku and changes it one rule at a time. Genius!!
- Glasomir · v1.2.3
I enjoy the main game, but I got soft locked by the stickers. I finished a sticker in the stickerbook, so it keeps trying to take me there with no button to say no to it. I tapped the button, and the tutorial on where the stickerbook is (which I already know where it is from the first time it showed that) pops up with a new sticker pack I have to open, and then they both cancel tapping anywhere on the screen. So I can’t get to the stickerbook, and I can’t open the sticker pack, cause they both need to be done, but neither one will allow me to tap the other function.
- Garbunk · v1.2.3
The latest version has a bug that gets stuck trying to launch stickers. So at present my version is useless
- Ronosher · v1.2.3
I have never written a review for a game on the App Store, but this game is so good that I felt like I just had to. For starters: this game does not feel like a mobile game. Although there are ads, they are infrequent and help support the developers. The no-ads purchase is also reasonably priced and not a subscription like a lot of other bad mobile games. The puzzles themselves are amazingly designed. You can tell a lot of effort was put into them to make them fun and mentally engaging. The progression of mechanics is also very natural. The game slowly builds up more rules and logic over time, and it even lets you choose which rules you want to play; the progression isn’t linear. The daily challenges make every day feel like a new opportunity to grow your brain and thinking skills, even allowing you to get a glimpse of new rules that you haven’t unlocked yet. The rewards and cosmetics are a nice touch, and overall it just feels like such a complete experience. It’s so fun and challenging that I often play it for over an hour per day. I hope the developers continue to develop and build on this game, such as introducing more rules and combinations, as well as adding something like 3D mode?? That would be awesome. Thanks so much for an amazing game 😊🙏
- Xynim123 · v1.2.3
One of my favorite puzzle games. Has a lot of rule variations that add complexity and variety.
- 10284749 · v1.2.3
The ads aren’t invasive, and the gameplay is enjoyable.
- Every nickname’s taken 😭 · v1.2.3
I love this game. It’s not that easy but not that hard. It’s perfect!!!
- Julie080329 · v1.2.3
I keep getting stuck on opening a sticker pack (which I do not care about). The animation never fully resolves and I cannot proceed past the screen, rendering the game useless. It’s happened twice, and the first time, I deleted the app, reinstalled, and started from scratch.
- jawilhelm · v1.2.3
The app crashes every time I try to open it.
- forrdavi · v1.1.3
So I spent eight bucks to get rid of ads but I still have to wait a half an hour to get each ticket? I would like to learn how to play but if I don’t do a level perfectly I can’t keep playing/ practicing. You want more money from me to keep playing and it’s really annoying. I don’t think I can return at this point, but beware.
- Iwannalogin · v1.1.3
For a random free app to just stumble across, this has been a legitimate pleasure to play. The puzzles are challenging enough to keep me going without being too hard to stop me in my tracks. The X system is legitimately incredible and I wish more Minesweeper-types had it. The fact you can keep playing as long as you don’t make mistakes is great and gives me a chance to rest my brain if I’m making a bunch of mistakes in a row. All in all it culminates in a very fun and satisfying time
- Champagnia · v1.1.3
I have become OBSESSED with this puzzle game. Only down side is running out of tickets
