this game is a joke. if you dont pay, you lose. the enemies lvl faster than you. so you change loc buy your towers suck, the enemies get harder, you can't replay old matches to help lvl. so you get very little gold. base eventually takes 40k gold to upgrade so 6k gold per lvl 40k to make base better, 20k per lvl of tower. big a$$ pay wall. 15 matches in a row lost. deleted

The game is really great, but the constant lag makes you lose matches and completely ruins the fun. It keeps freezing all the time, and messages like “Catching up” keep appearing even though I have a good internet connection. Honestly, it deserves to be uninstalled. UPDATE: now that I’ve left a bad review every time I’m forced to watch an ad it’s now 3 ads instead of one. Time to delete. The game actually is kind of fun for about a week. The. You get hit with forced ads. You get 6 weapons at a time, but as you continue the game, as you draw cards the game will just not let you select some of them. Won’t even offer during play. As it’s nothing but their systems dealing cards, you are at their mercy on what you get and when they decide they want you to lose, you lose. They are trying to get you to spend money, but I don’t see why anyone would since you clearly get stonewalled by the devs and your purchases become worthless when they say.

I've never had a game act like this. it has some SERIOUS connection issues. every match darkens the screen and if you tap it or try to do anything it says "catching up". it either happens multiple times, each lasting for a few seconds or it happens once stretching for nearly the entire match.

Avoid, invest time elsewhere

Decent game until you hit 2,000 trophies. Then the system just matches you endlessly with people you’re not going to be able to beat. I’m pretty much quitting after spending $20 total. If I’m cancelling 14 out of 15 games I match, because opponent castle has 5-10k more hp, which means their level is 5 or more over mine and their towers are way more powerful, that’s a problem. Not spending even more $ to catch up, gap too wide. If they fixed the matching, based it on tower level and castle hp/power, might be more competitive/strategic and playable. Right now, post 2,000 trophies, it’s not a playable or fun game. Needs a matching system, I don’t think there is one, just open matching. You can get obliterated by someone that only bothers putting out 3-4 towers because of the power gap.

Unfortunate

The game seems fun, but the constant pop up ads to buy a hero or just buy currency are too much and too often, now after having the game for a week they force me to watch an ad after every match and then ask me if I want to watch another ad for extra reward. The rewards system is lacking as well you seem to get a surplus of tower and ability cards to use to level up your stuff but you never get enough gold for more than a few upgrades. Too many ads

The game was awesome the first week. Then after they get you hooked and invested after 1 week they force you to watch an ad after every round even if you lose the round. Then to collect bonus rewards you have to watch an ad right after you just watched an ad. Then to keep your 2x up to 20x bonus you have to watch a third ad. And then to collect another reward it’s a 4th ad. When I realized I was watching 4 ads in between rounds I decided to stop spending my evening 50% of the time just clicking through ads to get them off my screen. Seriously what is wrong with these people? So greedy to play ads. I found myself watching more ads than actually playing the game. It’s disgusting with their behavior when trying to play and being forced to watch ads the crazy part is they have in app purchases for $10, $20, even $100 purchases. One of the events to get the proper reward they wanted people to spend hundreds to get the legendary rewards. It was close to $500 you have to spend and still you would be stuck watching ads non stop. Hey don’t care about the player. They just want money so badly they ruined their own game. It’s pure greed. Don’t waste your time. Good game but you will end up spending more time watching ads than playing. It’s disgusting. Borderline wickedness with how many ads they have.

Your gameplay needs balancing

The game stats dictate winning or losing. I have engaged in games that I’ve got a chance to build only 2 towers while the opponent was given more than 5 towers and roads, I was given only roads to build and skill upgrades, no new towers, no tower upgrades whatsoever. This is how the game dictates who wins who loses by distributing resources unfairly. This is an unbalanced gameplay. I am stuck in a situation that I can’t progress, this is either an strategy to force your players to pay money otherwise the players can’t level up or keep on losing in games, OR the game is unbalanced. Fun too many ads

This game is pretty fun. The only problem is too many ads. The ads wouldn’t be too much of a problem but the type of ads make you play the ads for up to 2 mins on some. You can get rid of the ads for a game subscription of $19.99. Yes you heard right $19.99 subscription for a mobile app. Not even computer games charge $19 a month for a subscription for AAA game. Pretty greedy is you ask me. There is a 2 minute add you have to play between each level. Which is pretty annoying. I spent almost equal amount of time playing game ads than actually playing the game. So if you don’t like ads being crammed down your throat repeatedly and having to play ads for up to 2 to 3 this is not the game for you. Unless you want to pay $19 a month for a mobile subscription.

Broken game

Im barely playing at this point. Just spending 10-15 minutes a day in the hope that they make an attempt to fix this game. Which is about how long one match lasts at higher levels. It’s infuriating to lose by one second to a bot that uses infinite resources to put up a wall when silenced. Also keep an eye on your tower and skill cards as some may disappear on you. I lost a Legendary card and may have lost more. They refused to return it without screenshots of how it happened.

Avoid!

The concept is good and could be fun, but the mechanics are terrible. There is more luck of draw involved than actual skill. You’re given random options to pick from to establish your defense as waves progress, and often the options are all terrible and at times just unusable. The idea that there are counter elements is completely negated by the fact the hoards and bosses being sent are determined at random, only after you have entered into a matchup search with your selected units. Every once in a while your random unit selection yields and manageable defense, and strategic use of “trick cards” has you dominating the battle, only to have a boss steamroll through your defense and take you from zero damage to destroyed in just a few hits. Lots of useless eye candy updates STILL NO SOUND

This was a good game until they kept changing the towers and adding this, then something else and all useless eye candy that not only makes the game more difficult but hard to play now as well. NO SOUND but they will have an update in a few days to make it prettier but not easier to play. They ruined a good game by adding too much and not repairing what was wrong.

Game sux now

I loved this game till about 2 weeks ago when they updated and added “gems for extra towers”!! Now every vs you play against an AI opponent that continuously keeps adding towers while you have to spend very valuable and expensive gems to keep up.. and I’m a p2p player so I actually spend money on game and still can’t keep up since gems are very expensive.. I’ve spent about 150-250$ a week approx.. that’s USA dollars and still can’t keep up at all.. don’t download!! So sad to see the game fail so bad.. I would’ve gave it 4-5 stars before update.. now I’d give it a minus star if it was possible

Pay to Play

Used to be fun. Now I can’t win a game all day. People with less trophies are winning because they pay for the boosters. Not even fun to play anymore. I wouldn’t download and waste your time.

Constantly “catching up” late in battles

The game has so much potential and is fun ……. Until you go deep into a match and the game slows down, freezes, and goes into “catching up” mode which prohibits you from using spells, or boosts, or adding towers. At that point you become a frustrated spectator watching your life drain away. It seems the freezes are one sided as you watch spells get cast by your opponent. At this point I am stepping away from the game and will check back every month or so to see if they ever get their act together and listen to the complaints,for simply keep grabbing money from newbies and not caring.

No sound

I have no in game sound so it makes it hard to keep up with the beginning of a wave cause I can’t hear anything. But the sound for all the ads works just fine, other than the sound issues I like the game
