The Developers of This Game Wrote the Book on HOW TO CHEAT!

Why can’t I give it zero stars? This has to be the biggest con game in town! When you read the reviews on this one be sure to sort by most recent. Nobody gives this garbage good ratings now. Most of the time you don’t even play against real players. Just bots that roll exactly what they need to put you out of the game. Right before they do though they entice you to double so they can take twice the booty from you. How Apple has it ranked so high is a mystery to me. I guess their ranking system is as rigged as this game. If you’re looking to play a real game of backgammon look elsewhere. If you’re doing a school project on scams and enticement for profit then by all means, download and study to see what a real life scam looks like. Hard to believe Apple would allow this trash in their App Store.

I 100% wouldn't recommend this game...it starts out ok you can win enough to continue playing. but I made the mistake of buying coins and when I tell you the amount I lose is amazing! the "opponent will get 5 or 6 doubles in a row while you sit trying to get out and roll the same 5 and 3 until they win the game...it's designed for you to spend money in order to play this game

I have professionally played Backgammon in tournaments for years, just for the fun. I have played this for several months, it is the biggest scam I have ever seen. Backgammon is mostly luck of the role, but there is Strategy of knowing how and where to move at certain specific times. In my tournament days I had a 64% win rate. I am at a 28% win rate consistently with this scam of a game. You mainly play bots that get big perfect rolls and keep you losing. This is a massive scam!

Changing my rating from 2 star 1. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY. Very addicting game and I want to like it but I have never seen a more rigged game. Online casinos have better odds. Statistically impossible rolls will take the meagher coins they give you every 4 hours to make you buy coins. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. After buying coins sure you win for a bit, then find yourself on a losing streak resulting in dozens of losses in a row to bots until you are back to zero to make you spend more.

This game is unbelievably rigged. Ive paid for coins and then i win an incredible amount of games then slowly it goes back to not winning any. There should be an option to report players that are clearly cheating, when they realize they will lose there turns become very slowly taken and suddenly they are rolling all doubles so its an automatic win for them. Rigged dice roll

I’ve played enough backgammon to know the difference between bad luck and dice that feel completely manipulated. I was already bearing off and my opponent only had ONE checker stuck in my home board. I roll a 2-3, which unfortunately forces me to leave a blot open, and of course they hit me immediately. Fine, that can happen. But then the app suddenly refuses to give me a 4, 5, or 6 so I can come out of their home board. Meanwhile my opponent is already safely home and starts bearing off while I’m completely trapped because the exact numbers I need magically never appear. Then when I finally do roll a 4, 5, or 6 to come out, the app gives me useless 2-1 rolls THREE times while my opponent keeps getting doubles and perfect rolls to finish the game. If this were real physical backgammon, I would’ve won that game. The dice in this app don’t feel random at all — it honestly feels designed to make people lose coins so they’ll spend money buying more. Extremely frustrating. Don’t waste your time, money or energy and nerves to be honest.

This was an awesome app. Game play was smooth and the extra games great at accumulating coins. I’d normally give 4 stars as the only issue used to be there was often online connections issues. But they’ve introduced pop ups you can’t close. You have to hard close the app and restart. So annoying.

There is no way that for an entire game the opponents dice will roll exactly the number to send me to the bar. Practically every turn it sent me back to the bar. It is mathematically impossible for the dice to roll the number necessary to send one of my pieces to the bar practically every turn.

Aggressive pop-ups ruin this experience

The gameplay is fine, but the corporate greed is unbearable. You are slammed with 5 to 6 back-to-back pop-ups just for opening the app. Then, you have to close out another 3 to 4 ads every single time you finish a game.It means the game doesn't feel like a fun board game anymore. Instead, it feels like an aggressive advertisement that constantly begs you to spend real money. They should offer a one-time no-ads purchase option instead of constantly pushing microtransactions. You spend as much time and effort time clicking "X" on sales pitches than actually rolling dice. Don't waste your time or money.
