Game Modes include: - Choose from three modes of play (Easy Mode, Medium Mode, Hard Mode) - Random Pick-up: A quick way to jump right in! The computer chooses a random team for you and itself, and the game starts immediately. - Single Game: You take turns with the computer, choosing players from a random pool of characters. - Season: You pick your home field, create a team, and manage the team through a 14-game series. The opposing teams are computer-generated. At the end of the season, the best two teams advance to the BBL playoffs (best of 3). Without having access to the source code, there are hard limitations on the experience we can create. As an example, we can’t use the original 32-bit code to support modern macOS, as even with an incredibly clever wrapper, macOS can’t execute the binaries.

I was enjoying the game for a little while, now there's some bug with my game that won't let me play season mode. I reached out through the game devs bug reporting system and received no response, I've emailed the games support team and received no reply, I messaged Backyard's Instagram and they said to message the game developer's Instagram, they respond only when I ask if there's any update on the issue and they just say they'll look into it but give no other information.

I cant get any further because the game crashes and says there's a bug. In the second round of the playoffs and i cant get past the first game without it crashing

its fun to play and I won the world series on hard mode but I had to turn on highlight curser when it is moving just to see the mouse. if you're gonna post a game on Google play make it right but I do enjoy how you don't need internet

I guess if you have nostalgia for the game it's OK, but playing it for the first time, it's absolutely awful. Slow, horrible control, complete lack of direction on how anything works. Leave this garbage back in 2001 where it belongs.

For the love of GAWD will someone please make a 64 bit version of Baseball Superstars 2009 version. I'll gladly pay for it. All these other baseball games are hot garbage. I guess until that happens I'm stuck with zero baseball options on android and only Retro Bowl football (which is fantastic in case you don't have it).

why won't the bat icon appear when I am batting? I swing and miss all the time and it's frustrating when a game that is only a few GBs and is over 20 years old can't function properly on a new tablet.

immensely clunky gameplay. The game requires you to be exceedingly precise. I believe since it's just a port of the original computer game, the precise-ness that a mouse allows you is absent here, and it really hampers the gameplay. It would be better with the options for a controller on the side with buttons, but I've found no such option. extremely hard to play and even harder to have a good time while playing.

this game will always get 5 stars from me just like little pablo will always be the game's mvp. however I wish there was a way to simulate games. I don't get much time to play so I've been working on game one of my first season for 3 days now. simulation and maybe adding a custom player option, it is 2026 after all. that has to be possible, hell you could pay wall bundle those 2 features for $.99 or something

best baseball game ever. So I just won the world series and it was tons of fun. Even though you cant see the cursor on chromebook the game is still good once you get the hang of it. 10/10 will play again

loved the game on the computer and Backyard football runs well, I understand it. This game, I dont understand and there is no explanation. I dont want handholding but I'd at least like an option to find out how each mechanic of the game works. currently 1/5 for a paid game, giving 3/5 because I have higher hopes.

Great port of the original 2001 game. It could definitely use some additional modern upgrades (speed, responsiveness) but it's still a lot of fun. Runs well for me and I haven't experienced many crashes at all. You can play offline which is a bonus.

this was such a horrible game, and I waited too long to get my refund... so do not buy this game!!!! The game play is so slow, I had to play one game in 2 days. The options for all the sounds didn't work at all, i.e. when you turn off the background sounds, they don't turn off. To include on that, they have 2 chants in 3 different voices that constantly play! wanna batter wanna pitcher.... cmon devs.... you made us pay for this game and we all know there is better FREE GAMES than this.

Can't play anymore due to"SCUMMERROR 3,2101 (out of array pointers)" error message that causes the game to crash. Played the entire season without issue and just started the World Series when the game crashed. Phenomenal game, though! Love the mobile experience and it's so like the original. Spent hours playing. Can't wait to continue playing once the bug is fixed! Edit: Bug has been fixed!!!!

This is the best baseball game ever. Haha scratches the old itch nicely. So glad to have a mobile version now. Several of the small issues I've had with the mobile version appear to have been fixed, but here's one that's still messing with me: when I finish a 9-inning season, make it through the world series, and start a new season, it automatically starts in 6-inning mode, and there doesn't appear to be an option to change it. This has been verified three times.

lots of bugs. middle of the season and all of the season stats I had disappeared. balls being thrown way outside being called strikes. power hitters getting a well timed hit only for it to be an infield pop fly. same thing with the aluminum power bat, timing was perfect and it didn't even leave the infield. if they can patch everything I'll gladly give it 5 later but just too buggy at the moment
