its good. some of my media files are unreadable but thats super minor compared to the rest of the game. i just wish there were more sorting options when choosing songs to play

Cool game and concept. Couple of problems, though, most on file format issues. I can't play my flac or m4a songs whatsoever. It keeps giving md Bass Error Fileform - unsupported file format. The game is able to detect the files but is unable to play them.

would be a 5 star review if the whole game's screen didn't get offset and make my save data unusable when i'm not connected to wifi. I couldn't find a way to fix this and it is happening consistently across two phones.

The game is unable to detect or read music files stored on my phone. I've tried different formats and locations, but it still doesn't work. Other apps can access my music just fine, so this seems to be an issue with the game itself. Hope the developers can fix this soon.

This Game used to not load MP3 files i have despite It loads perfectly. This new patch actually fixed all of that now as it access the media folders properly now. As for the entire game, it is an absolute blast. It's a must try if your interested for shoot em ups while playing your custom music. I rarely leave reviews too. Though all in all, it's the best game you could get.

I used to play this game fine. Now I can't seem to find any of my music. The last time I played a couple of months ago, I was using my music. Never un-installed the game. Files are in my music folder they are mp3 I also tried m4a. Nothing.

There's an issue with the resolution on my s tablet 9 that means I have to tap north of every button to select it. That's irritating but manageable in menus, but it's almost unplayable in game because I'm getting screwed trying to select power ups, with the game not registering the selection and so I'm taking losses that aren't my fault. I've played it on steam and it's a great game, but the android port needs work. That being said, the people saying you can't play your own music are wrong.

One of my favorite games to play for over a decade. Instant buy. Sadly, this is the only way I can play it right now. I really wish it supported my backbone controller, and used my music off Spotify.

First off... this is way better than BEAT HAZARD ULTRA. However, it has one major issue... the AI sucks. Now, I am aware that the enemies and everything is fueled by the music, but even on tracks where the music is going hard, the AIs attacks are so slow and so easy to dodge, even on the highest difficulty, its just like "okay so... why is Asteroids on PS1 more difficult than this?" | All and all, if you want to enjoy your jams and play some games, its worth it. Good visuals and customization.

Not the game you would hope to see I'm 2023 I played this on my Xbox 360 back when it was an arcade game. This isn't the game I was hoping to see now. It doesn't sync with Spotify or any streaming service. In 2023 not having that features almost encourages piracy. It's really sad to see such an amazing game literally stuck in the past. It would be amazing to see a updated 2023 version that literally just had the functionality described. I'd even buy it AGAIN.

6/9/23 EDIT: The notes say the authorizing bug has been fixed, but it has not. The problem might have to do with the fact that I use Koala Sampler on my phone, & as such, I have 17,000 some 1 second samples on my phone. ....... Love the game, but it gets stuck on the "authorizing" screen unless you turn off all internet. It works fine after that though, and you can turn internet back on once you're playing the game. Also, I don't think it's storing my high scores though on the world rankings.

Online connectivity doesn't work at all just gets stuck a authorizing screen. Gamepad support is broken just force closes whenever I connect my gamesir gamepad . Everything else is as expected. Gamepad support is what convinced me to get this game. So its very disappointing that it doesn't work at all.

You get to play a space shooter that you and even your enemies shoot in sync with the music you choose. Not to mention you get to pick the track from your phone's music playlist. I absolutely love it. Games like these deserve more attention and content than people know because there aren't many people that love to play a music more than a game but when something like this exist those that actually love playing like that, will keep playing this game non-stop. Speaking from experience of course.

The only way I can play is if I open the app directly for the app store in landscape mode. Game crashes if I try to open with a controller connected. I also can't select MY song by name . The only songs that show up are the ones that have album info. I've paid for both games and the first beat hazard is way better and more polished. I think it's over a year and this game is still not fixed.

After years of playing BH Ultra on PS3, this game was a mobile breath of fresh air but considering that I purchased it, it shouldn't freeze up as much as it does. I even got a new phone hoping it would resolve the issue but instead all I get at startup is the working icon which apparently is a neverending job and the only way I can play is offline with the game music instead of mp3s on my sd card. Bummer. I'd give it 5 stars if it actually starts working again. It must not work with mobile data.

I've played this game to death on PC and the previous version too... But this aint it... First of all your fingers are covering 2/4 of all corners... And second the onscreen joypads just dont work as well as joysticks so its just not as fun... Half the time stuff just appears from under my thumbs and im dead already... Also the lack of a "random song" or shuffle... Or even a playlist option is a bit annoying

ShoutCast Radio support is broken and the game starts in a tiny sideways window with 50% of the screen missing, unless the Homescreen is rotated to Landscape before starting the game. I have no local mp3 files, so that means the game is basically unplayable for me. Dev doesn't even seem to update or care about the buyers..
