BJA: Card Counting Trainer Pro

It does it's job, but I expect more from a $5 paid app. There should be some way to set up a bet spread and strategy so that the app could tell me when I've gone wrong with my bankroll. Ex. Count was +3 so you should've bet $60 not $40 etc... The betting between hands is clunky, maybe chips on the table like in poker apps would be better? Why not have the UI be the BJA table? App needs more feedback like card sounds and showing whether you doubled or split with an animation.

- Jordan Shore · v2.3.3

This tool is very helpful and very effective

- Louto LaGuerre

For less than 10 dollars you can train blackjack on this app and learn perfect play before you go to the casino. If you're going to gamble, why not study and be prepared? 5 Stars!

- Phil · v2.3.3

great app if youry wanting learn BJ and counting. This guys great, the creator. I was making a reoccurring mistake and it gave me a YouTube video of him explaining my error. pretty awesome! oh and I haven't been hit with any paywalls:)

- Rebecca West · v2.3.3

I keep coming back to this app, as a Black Jack player this is the best training program for black jack in the market. I love it.

- Marcellus Wallace · v2.3.3

I have thoroughly reviewed and researched more card counting trainers than I care to mention and I can honestly say that BJA is one the best. Save yourself some time and money by using the app and/or services.

- christopher carlson · v2.3.2

Good so far. Room for improvement on the Andriod version

- Miguel Valdes · v2.3.2

very easy to use and after spending many hours I've developed a better understanding on how to play my cards rather than trying to focus on counting cards as I'm focusing on virtual based blackjack. so learning basic strategy from here is really good, I can't wait to see future updates

- Dylan Soutar · v2.3.2

i like the app but i dont like that it did a gestures only amd i cant revert back to the original settings android

- John M (The reviewer) · v2.3.2

I had a basic understanding of counting but the strategy and count with clear instructions is a game changer

- nick g · v2.3.2

Not good for becoming consistent with basic strategy and fundamentals because that will frequently lead to losing hands in this app. It may be good for learning to count, but just using an old fashioned deck as flash cards works just as well. The dealer very often ends up with 20 or better. On more than on occasion the dealer has dealt 3 strait black jacks, while the player gets hadly any. Standing with 16 or less against a 3-6 will frequently ends up in a losing hand. Doesn't show W/L %

- Chris · v2.2.1

In h17 I just got 15 vs 10 on+7 true count I standed it said I was wrong it said to hit does not work right anymore tells me to hit on 16 vs 10 when count +7 tried uninstall and reinstall still bad

- Russell Dietz · v2.2.1

It would be good to have an "Are you sure you want to rest bankroll?" after clicking it by accident, or allow you to manually set it to a certain amount. Also it would be useful when Deviations are turned on to have an explanation if you make a strategy error - whether it's an error in basic strategy or a error based deviation from that you haven't accounted for.

- Alex James · v2.2.1

doesnt actually have instruction built in. just links to websites

- Hunter Grey · v2.2.1

its great! could you guys add a feature where you can edit the bankroll to however we want to start off with?

- Gavin Myers · v2.2.1

perfect app to learn blackjack and counting. when I first started I knew nothing and wanted something like this to correct me until it was all in my head. It helped me a lot. I wish deviations were turned off by default but by the time I figured it out I already memorized some so I just left them on. Even if you don't want to count this will help you play correctly and not be a dumb ploppy 😆

- Kid Fresh · v2.2.1

I have been using this app to help me keep my basic stragity up and my playing sharp. its a great app.

- Scott Goldiner · v2.2.1

Easy and user friendly.

- Hernando Torres · v2.2.1

I'm disappointed with this app. After having an iPhone for years and using this app for many hours I switched phones and the android version is so much worse. the screen gets cutoff the animations are much more laggy and the whole thing feels like it was made 10 years ago with no updates since.

- Alex Rodgers · v2.2.1

this is a random number generator, not an actual blackjack simulator. good for memorizing basic strategy but that's it. EDIT: realized it's not actually a random number generator. It will go on streaks where it simulates nothing but "bad variance" hands to the point where it's not even fun to play. It got so bad that I started keeping track. I'm at 27 6-deck shoes in a row where I get nothing but hands like 20 vs. 6, with a -10 true count, then the dealer flips 5, 10. Over and over and over...

- Nate Richardson · v2.2.1

Well worth the $5 when starting to learn basic and counting. It needs to have more deviation options to be complete. The deviations offered are GREAT, but we need to be able to select the rest of the illustrious 18 at least!

- Evan Werley · v2.2.1

there is no rng. everything in this app is scripted. its great for learning the book but not for any actual practice cause the decks are completely scripted.

- Hunter Augustine · v2.2.1

lovely trainer for the hobby, many great options available. thanks collin

- Way Doc · v2.2.1

Great app. Definitely recommend.

- Luke Lemke · v2.2.1

let's grind

- Ricardo Florenzano · v2.2.1

"While this is good practice, it feels less like a fair simulation and more like a tool designed to highlight just how slim the margins are in blackjack, even when counting cards."

- Dennis Laffan · v2.2.1

Decent app, but lacks features found in other free, no ads app. Surprisingly clunky for a paid app from a popular YouTuber. Nothing "wrong" with it, but there are better available, with more features and more intuitive to use, for free.

- Kevin Andrews · v2.2.1

there is a major glitch where the previous cards dealt doesn't get cleared, after pausing and starting the app this ruins all of the counting

- Carl Z

It's a great way to practice & hone your skills.

- Phil Swanson · v2.2.1

love it its amazing! im trying to quit gambling this gives me an outlet.

- Nay Paine · v2.2.1

Amazing app. Any serious BJ player or AP's need this app. Thanks BJA TEAM!

- Alex · v2.2.1

Ads in a paid app?? seriously? also no display settings to optimize for different screen sizes. It looks like a good app minus those two pretty big faults.

- Logan C · v2.2.1

It works, it could be better. The app could tell you more about your play. It doesn't seem to get many upgrades.

- Scott Pierce · v2.2.1

The app needs a lot of gameplay improvements and also there is one big problem - they don't have chart training for ENHC Blackjack. You need to write this somewhere, because I am a European and this app now practically serves me no good...

- fichkata · v2.2.1

changing my review after developer response from thinking that maybe the cards dealt were some kind of "cooler" to have you practice at a higher difficulty, to realizing "oh yeah" this app has you play at a substantially faster rate than a real table. the variance will strike much faster. but whatever, this app has substantially improved my play in a matter of weeks. worth the $5.

- stoffy mcfearsein · v2.2.1

Great for practice. Love their YouTube channel and now this app!

- nolan hull · v2.2.1

After probably 5 hours of drill, the dealer is dealt way too many face cards, at least one and two deck shoes.

- Steve Hartline · v2.2.1

I love the simplicity and customization of this app. Its straight to the point and gives you instant feedback which is important for learning

- Lovelle Crooms · v2.2.1

great practice

- Pedro Sanchez · v2.2.1

Exactly what I was hoping it would be - plenty of options and it tells me in real time if I played my hand correctly. Only addition I'd like to see is my add an all time best consecutive hands correct instead of resetting each time I screw up.

- CurtisBooksMusic · v2.2.1

Worth every penny. The devs must be autistic cause this app and UX is pretty much perfect.

- Georgia A · v2.2.1

If you have gained any knowledge from BJA, purchasing this app is a great way to show support. On top of that it's a great way to learn basic strategy and deviations while playing, as well as practicing your bet spread without risking your bankroll. 4 stars because everything has room for improvement

- Matt P · v2.2.1

as a former dealer I enjoy this app. only recommendation if I may is to be able to adjust the bankroll starting point. everything else is great.

- Anthony Lara · v2.2.1

if you've mastered basic strategy and are ready to practice counting, this is the app for it. I would still start with a physical deck of cards and count the deck to zero a dozen times. play out some hands. But this app is great next step

- Gabriel Martinez · v2.2.1

this is a very useful app to practice basic strategy n counting at ur comfort so u can be ready when the time comes one suggestion is to make a soft total/pair only mode. usually those happens less and it's easier to get wrong when it comes to split n dd. More targeted training will make those scenario perfect. edit: ooh!! I found the dealing behavior switch. this is perfect!!!

- kenneth chen · v2.2.1

Very fun

- Mitchell Mahurin · v2.2.1

Nice software.

- Shad Clausing · v2.2.1

incredible app 10/10

- Brent (Bloody) · v2.2.1

best app to learn how to card count plus other things like perfect strategy charts and deviation charts. train to be the best!

- Daniel Cruz · v2.2.0

Front camera on my phone covers some of the dealers cards. 😢 Wish there was a way to move the dealer's cards lower.

- Juwun Sugarbloom

helps alot

- J M · v2.1.2

Good Training Tools
