Couldn't handle more than one week of playing this thing. I genuinely tried staying longer just for Aru, but eventually the lolibait got to me. Yes. Lolibait. The girls are literally students running around in a school uniform. The game also LOVES to emphasize how we are the 'adult that needs to take responsibility' or whatever. The story is childish, the characters have no souls, the game is overall disgusting, please do NOT play under any circumstances.

I fell in love for this game the moment I played it for the first time. It was enjoying, story was peak, students, even better. But when I heard that they changed the gacha system in the jp server, I felt betrayed. This games' gacha system was the only unique thing I've encountered. Changing it to a pity system just because some dev said they want to change it to a more "familiar" system. I mean, "If you don't want it, then don't buy it.". Also, just don't change a feature that isn't broken.

This is the most fun gacha I've ever played, it's natural blend of Slice of life, comedy, and GUNS is fantastic! The rates are very low but that just makes It very thrilling and exciting to get,This game is the proof that you don't need a very complex, and hard to understand story. It just needs to resonate with the players and make them relate to it, and with new events comes every 9-14 days the game doesn't get boring. I can't lie, I love the game, the characters, and world building, but can someone ki- remove Patrick Söderlund the current executive chairman? After his appointment, he crashed the fk out of the gacha system, and now balancing is bouta get curbstomped the hell out, if you don't like facts, check the numbers, Blue Archive on steam went from VERY POSITIVE to VERY NEGATIVE in 2 days of the announcement, on Google play it's sitting at a 1.9 I'd rather NOT let Patrick ruin BA too, or it's just EoS.

I didn't survive localization putting "they/them" everywhere", nor seeing japanese things being called by weird names (tf is "rice wine"?) to deal with 50/50 gacha. The heartbreak is so great (3 years with my dear students) that I'll make this my ever last gacha game, so I can see the bright side on that.

This gacha had my favorite story of any gacha I'd played, had one of the most emotionally impactful finale, and endeared me to so many characters. Then Nexon decided to hire an ex-EA executive earlier this year and drop a new gacha on the game for its anniversary. They haven't addressed the change and refuse to back down from this, so it's a permanent change that will effect how pulls for characters are made, and arguably it's worse than what we have. Shame.

yay the login issue is finally fixed! still removing one star because while the new gacha system on jp server is better on paper, it still leaves a lot to question. like why were the additional bonus rewards like free pulls every x pulls only announced afterwards? why was the new system announced on a short notice of 3 days? why was the only direct response to player outrage made made on personal developer account rather than a main game one? i do hope in the future there will be more clarity.

I haven't played in a long time but I did play quite a bit in the past. Keeping up with the news, the proposed changes are predatory and disgusting even by extreme gacha standards. They had no reason and I stand with the Blue Archive players. 1 star. Shame on them.

This is one of my favorite mobile games. Sure, it's gacha with a lot of cute girls, but it offers much more. Seems like each girl has her own unique character. Writing could be hit or miss, but it's definitely hitting more than missing, at least for me. Tons of fun here, even if you don't spend cash, because the game is not heavily competitive. I've spent some cash regardless, as an appreciation of a good game. EDIT: -2 for EA corporate greed and -1 for constant login issues.

Been playing since day one release for global, and have enjoyed every bit of it. The gameplay is great and the characters are amazing. The gacha system is really generous even for F2P players, but unfortunately with upcoming changes everything will change for the worse as the new system will make acquiring new characters extremely hard without spending lots of money. Like every Nexon game from the past, I wouldn't be surprised if Blue Archive EOS'd because of this change.

It's final. Nexon didn't budge this time. The new Gacha system is in JP. Permanently. Soon, it will arrive in Global. I get that we aren't a cash cow server, unlike JP, but I would love to see the Global income tanking due to the change. You can rationalize it and make excuses all you want, the new system is 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐄.
