Finally beat it after playing for years and years since first discovery on linux and now i sadly beat it entirely on two different accounts. love this game, controls are so perfect for mobile and i prefer the touch screen versions over keyboard. achievements addition were nice. Good Rat.

The levels seem to be algorithmically generated, which means that sometimes you end up with levels that are literally impossible or which just require you to be lucky. But the gameplay and art style and music and concept are so cool that it's frankly worth putting up with the bad level design.

If you're going to make a game, at least make it playable. That means not putting LEDGES RIGHT AFTER TURNS, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO JUMP THEM.

This game would be easily fixed if it allowed you to control your guy mid-air instead of having static jumps. I can see the patterns and memorise layouts but I can't react fast enough due to only being able to hop one lane at a time. It would also help if this game had unlockables and leaderboards to add some incentives for the player.

Love runners like Canabalt - Boson X, while it looks and sounds great, is extremely punishing to the point of being unfair. The 3rd level of the game ended up taking 87 attempts for me to complete, as RNG for scoring and the inability to adjust midair means the game is requiring you to make 5-10 decisions in advance, without the proper info to do so. Had serious potential, just too difficult for dufficulty's sake.

Quite possibly one of the most addictive runner arcade games I've played. The idea that you're literally discovering new molecules appeals to my obsession with quantum mechanics as well. I suck pretty badly at the game, but I can't stop playing it. Well done, devs! I do agree that some sort of progression (power ups, character upgrades, etc.) would improve the game, but I think it's great as it is.

Claims it is unforgiving, but that is simply a cover for the devs inability to control their randomly generated maps. Some maps are literally impossible because each path is a dead end. Most games like this allow for multiple movements mid air. It is clear the dev just ripped someone else's work without a clear understanding of how the genre works...dont buy this.

It's okay, but some stages play awfully. Each time you start a course it's generated randomly and some courses are literally impossible because you the RNG won't spawn blue tracks. Having human designed levels would make this game fair but lazy procedural generation for the levels makes this game a hard pass for me.
