Leveling up and/or getting a chest completely resets movement direction, it's like if you lifted your finger off of the virtual joystick on purpose but forced. This has been the cause of all of my deaths because I either full stop and get mobbed or run in a random direction and get mobbed. it's probably 4 or more star with a controller but that's no excuse for a game released on mobile.

Overall an okay Vampire Survivor clone. Art style & Western theme are fun but game play is a bit lackluster. Might be different if played on a computer but on a phone it's annoying. The controls are responsive but the thumb stick area takes up a quarter of the screen. Also, no vertical screen mode which makes it harder to play. Others might have better results but was pretty mid for me.

Good stuff! A session in, my sole concern is that the joystick gets a little jittery soon after picking an item, or an upgrade, often causing you to move where you don't want to, especially since game resumes immediately after the selection window disappears. Might be worth it to explore allowing a small delay after a selection is made.

update: endless mode has been added. Very fun game. Only thing stopping it from 5 stars is there is no endless mode. This feature needs to be added! edit: hasn't been updated in a while. still no endless mode. replayability isn't really there with no endless mode once you have completed highest difficulty with all characters. it is fun but isn't worth the cost if you're paying for the full game (since they do have an endless mode for steam version)

Love the game, but there are certain issues that make the game irritating. The biggest one? The 'Lucky Star' object has a bug where if you level up at the end of its duration, you get the invulnerability animation but still take damage. Other things like unexpected lag spike, somewhat unresponsive controls, small quality issues like misspellings and sprite limits, I was willing to overlook. However, dying constantly when I shouldn't has become a thorn in my side.

Great game, well balanced. I have beaten it on the hardest difficulty with every character on 2 separate accounts. The complaints about abilities or things missing vs PC version are people who haven't played the game and unlocked things (mythic upgrades, stand and shoot increases attack with first character, super black market). The touch screen controls drop inputs and misinterprets commands like it's going out of fashion. Most of the damage you take in the game is entirely the game's fault, you having no ability or options to avoid it. Game design is fairly poor, with most upgrades being in the game to waste time and take space away from better options. Runs are mostly luck based.

It's a very good game. Some text and UI is absurdly tiny. The virtual joystick should disappear when using a controller. I've had a number of controller glitches such as pausing while dashing (occasionally), and immediately unpausing after pausing (every time).

Wiped all my progress

I love this game and have it on Steam and mobile. However today I logged in to play and found that everything had been wiped. I had literally everything unlocked except the upgrade banish roll. I even bought the DLC and I don’t have that anymore! Obviously worst case scenario for a game where you slowly unlock upgrades. Can’t believe it.

Good game but…

Very good “Survivor” style game but it doesn’t save your run if you suspend the app. Had a really good run going, had to go take care of some real life stuff, then when I came back to continue and un-suspended the app, it restarted the whole app and I had to start a new run. To be fair, it still gave me the unlocks I earned from the lost run but I would’ve liked to continue it. Big downside for me as someone who has kids, a job, life in general…. Please fix this and make it so we can continue our run after suspending the app.

Since beta this has persisted, there are moments the invicibility frames are not active during dash. This game is nearly 5 years old now and this has been the games #1 deterrent. Since there's no endless mode we're forced to make the game tougher but this when this glitch really shines. The more enemy speed and player speed the higher likeliness of being damaged during a dash. Fix this for the any new players I waited 5 years and no change. I hope the developers have IRL vulnerability frames because you guys lack motivation and work ethic. Code for 10 minutes and make a great game ya schmucks

Please fix the dash, I can’t seem to dash without taking damage from collision with projectiles or enemies. Sometimes the game resume while you’re in the upgrade/chest window when you tap out the window.

It’s a fun game and quite similar to Vampire Survivors there is a difference I find annoying though, this game doesn’t have endless mode, which is the whole reason why I downloaded it, I looked it up and apparently there is endless on pc, but if you play on mobile like me don’t get your hopes up.

Lost all my save data

Worst vampire-like game ever played

GOOD GAME BUT LACK OF USER INTERFACE

I really enjoy this game and i play it on my tablet(12.9 inch) however the game isn’t adapted to play on a screen of this size, also my only other problem besides that is i play using a controller and cannot make the controls on the screen invisible. If you guys can maybe fix this in a future update I will happily give 5 stars and change my review! Also i understand that its hard to put an endless mode into the mobile version as the game would overload and crash, but even so I feel as if playing until the game crashed would be a whole lot more fun then just raising the difficulty. I’ve never written a review before but i really hope this reaches the Devs ears as i adore this game!

Edit: Have now gotten pretty far. Deleted it. You will literally take damage from projectiles or enemies that just don’t exist or haven’t rendered? Idk either way my iPhone 15 apparently doesn’t load something in or SOMETHING. Also the reasons listed below. Can’t stand games that “cheat” their own system and mechanics for some false sense of challenge. Not to mention the “RNG” just being horrible. Don’t recommend. I guess good for like ten hours or less but you will find out well before then whether you want it or not. Adios o7 So of course we have a very addictive game loop and game play, very good in its own way. I’m going to simply bring this back to inconsistent hit boxes and unresponsive controls. Yet again. It is mildly frustrating to be spamming the dash button, it “lights up” or “expands” showing you hit it while you have two dashes available to you only for it to never dash and get hit by an ultra slow projectile while surrounded from all other sides. Slightly a skill issue on the manual dodge but the two dashes I had would have also netted me some experience so I chose to dash. Which didn’t happen. It’s a pretty decent game.

Rogue-like Masters of the Universe create a western!

This company is a national treasure! Thank you for creating premium versions of your games without IAPs. I had to stop playing/buying gacha and F2P games altogether because of my lack of impulse control and ADHD. I also really like that I can play these games on the go without the need for Internet connection most of the time. I look forward to your next game! P.S. I love voice acting in games… I know it’s not a big part of your brand… but maybe a little bit of narrative here or there after unlocking progress with a character would be cool.
