Really beautiful game and exactly the style I was looking for: puzzle, creative, and similar to Machinarium and Samorost. Charming, beautiful, and calming

As others have said, it is reminiscent of Machinarium, one of my favorite games. The art is beautiful, the characters are charming, the puzzles are just right, and the story is compelling. This is a calming, non-violent, low stress game that encourages you to notice the world and the characters rather than rush from puzzle to puzzle. It’d be a great family game to play with young kids. The music is also spot on. I liked helping the other characters and defeating the bullies, and the surprise part of the ending is delightful.

Fabulous artwork combined with simple, point and click gameplay and a compelling storyline. Some puzzles are tricky but all have logical solutions. One or two items are hard to spot on a phone screen so you need to be vigilant. Very happy to see there is a 2nd game.

I enjoyed Samorost and Botanicula. This game gave me similar enjoyment. The difficulty of the puzzles were not too hard and not too easy. But I had to think a bit to solve them. Overall a very enjoyable game.

Love this game! The story is cute and the animation style is similar to the Samorost series, Chuchel, Woolly Boy, and Machinarium games. The puzzles aren't too difficult and the playthrough is pretty straightforward. I just wish the game was longer and had more content.

I really enjoyed it. Limited menu interaction which I didn't like. No saving, so you'll repeat parts if you don't complete entire tasks. I didn't ke the repetition. Lastly, all the puzzles were simple but I there should be a skip option after an alloted time to keep things moving.

Cute but annoying

Like other people have said, the inventory items are so small I don’t even notice them at first. Otherwise this game is fine. Not very original, but fine. What finally got me to give up on the game was the spinning disc puzzle. Seems simple enough, and it is, if you could get the discs to actually touch each other. After trying forever to get my second disc touching and therefore spinning, I just gave up. Maybe if I were playing on a tablet instead of my phone it would be easier, but I’m not. It was impossible and I just ended up deleting the game.

I REALLY wanted to like this game

The game started off cute enough aside from the backgrounds (albeit beautiful) being huge and detailed and every item being the size of an actual needle hole. Before I could solve even the first task, I somehow practically soft locked myself by getting to and pushing down the fridge immediately after I started. I had no idea this was the case as I walked back and forth between the fish guy, couch guy and broom guy and garden lady. This blocked the water for the plants and was just so confused. Some of the puzzles were hard but intuitive, others easy and some just straight up making me play another game like sudoku, minus 4 pieces that I spent tons of time looking for, connect four, circuit wire puzzle, gear puzzle and the awful shop guy puzzle you where you had to get 10 right or you start over but you can't see what the heck the tiny symbols are. Just felt like a cheap way to extend an already short game. My biggest complaint though is the clunky movement. The backgrounds seem so vast yet you're so limited where you can walk, if the characters will even walk where you tell it without talking to someone or going up an elevator. Perhaps it's best played on an iPad if you don't mind playing a bunch of existing mini puzzles.

A very cool adventure & puzzle game but it has a glitsch. After the casino part when the canman exchanges the 2 coins with the fish, the game goes blank. I uninstalled and then reinstalled it, and then played it till that part in one go but it shuts down again. I even uninstalled all my other games, hoping to free up space but with no luck. As soon as the canman gets that fish, the game shuts down. It does not want to proceed to the next stage.

So many game breaking glitches. Don’t waste your money.

There are so many glitches and bugs that prevent progress beyond the second area, about 10 minutes in to the game. Like cutting the wire before watering the dead plants, or not being able to grab items from the trash. Go back and fix this, the genius who pushed this game out too early should 100% be fired. And if tithe the developer reading this: don’t ask me to email you the list of bugs. That’s a waste of my time and I’m not going to do your work for you. That’s literally your job. I wish I could send this directly to the game developer.

So very good but….

This game has so much going for it! It’s beautiful, charming, adorable, delightful, has endearing characters, an engaging story, and more! But there’s a tedium factor that grows as I play… for one thing there’s no ‘run’ mode to get the blue can from one place to another, and often you have to go from scene to scene to complete an action, and it’s sloooow going. Also the inventory button disappears when certain things are happening and you have to wait for it to come back to try an idea. More slow going. There’s a lot of trial and error, and this plus the slowness makes for so much waiting and tedium. Plus there are either none or very vague instructions on many of the mini games and it was impossible for me to know what was expected without a walkthrough (thank goodness for the people who post online walkthroughs!). For instance, on the ‘tower’ game - I thought the instructions were to reproduce with the red pieces the diagrams on the little poster that was shown. But no, it was something entirely different. In the fuse box game I was completely stumped on what was required and the game doesn’t help you by letting you know when something is correct, and I didn’t understand the solution even after seeing it in the walkthrough. Etc, etc, etc. It’s not fun being stuck over and over and having everything take so long. Without the walkthrough I’d be just about at my breaking point and on the verge of deleting. The walkthrough makes it possible for me to continue. Oh, and there are no hints. So three stars because the game deserves recognition for what it does offer, but it’s just not a five star game. Such a good start but needs real improvement so that gameplay is more pleasurable.

Game is glitched

I exited the game a few minutes after opening it, and when I came back some time later, it was frozen. I could access the inventory, but the little can guy was gone, along with all the other characters, and all that was left was the background. The flame glitched shortly after the “can dog” jumps down from the house. I tried closing and reopening the game, turning off my device and turning it back on, as well as deleting the app and redownloading.

Most like Machinarium

Love the game. Three wheels is too hard for me. There is a bug for the basket on the dryer. After using it, if you get on top of the dryer, another basket will appear and drop on the ground. It doesn’t affect the gameplay though. Please make more games like this. Thank you all.

The artwork was beautiful and the puzzles were decent but the next thing to do was not intuitive at all. Often times, it made no sense what you were supposed to do with an object. Use the red poker chip at the casino? No. The washing machine. What?

Frustrating

I am a huge fan of point click inventory puzzle games. However this one has dull characters, annoying controls (tiny objects plus using them brings up control center). No Apple Pencil Support

I have to say I was surprised by the lack of support for the pencil especially since the game is supported on my iPad. There are several puzzles that are more difficult because your finger is in the way. Otherwise it’s a pleasant game.

Wonderful game but with a minor issue. At least to me.

I purchased this game not too long ago as I am one who very much enjoys puzzle games. Especially ones like these where it’s visually pleasing. It very much reminds me of Machinarium. The main inconvenience I am experiencing however is whenever I touch the screen, regardless on where, the home bar appears. Then eventually fades away. This occurs constantly and won’t stop no matter what I do. With it appearing and disappearing all the time is constantly off putting that it ruins the experience for me.

Hard to see under my finger

The graphics for inventory items are so small I can’t see them under my finger as I drag them onto the scene to use. It’s very hard to see when the item activates this way. It would be much easier to see if I could use a stylus (like my Apple Pencil) instead of my finger. I’m on an iPad 11 Pro. That said, I love the artwork, the story, the soundtrack, and the puzzles so far. Edit: I found an old rubber tip stylus and solved my fat finger problem. This game is delightful. Not “logical”

Contrary to another review, I find nothing “logical” about this game. Rather, it’s impossibly frustrating. How anyone can get 451 from those flowers is beyond me. The twigs will absolutely not tie together no matter what or how many times I try. If it weren’t for a walkthrough, I wouldn’t have even got that far, and even with the walkthrough it won’t work. Not a relaxing game, not fun, just infuriating. I’m so tired of wasting money on iPhone games, just to be this mad about it!
