I loved playing this game—it constantly stimulated my mind. However, lately I’ve found that even getting the extra help at the end, whether it’s 5 moves or a Candy Bomb +5, now requires watching an ad. The ads themselves aren’t the biggest issue, but they no longer play automatically. You have to tap the ad first, which then takes you to another website or app before the ad will actually play. I came back to edit my review!! This game is really starting to piss me off!! I have been playing for over 10 years; had I known that I'd buy something once and lose the ads, I wouldn't have purchased anything. The higher you get the fewer moves you get so without ads it’s frustrating!! The ones where you find the bottles are the most frustrating to me. What's the point of racking up points with boosts when the bottles don't come out until afterwards?? The other one is the one with the thick bricks that take at least 4 times to crack open but you only have 15 moves & no boosts. Finally, I'm forced to send my bat out on a treasure hunt for 24 hours but I won't get to it because I've been stuck on the same board for days. The treasure hunt should be at your own discretion. I guess my time has run out with this game. It's beginning to be so unfair. Everyone should have the option to watch an ad. It was fun while it lasted. It's time to move on.

What happened?!

I’ve been playing this game since 2013 and it’s always been relaxing yet challenging in a good way but after this latest update, I don’t even want to play it. They have reduced the amount of moves to a ridiculously low number and have kept the difficulty the same, if not harder, and expect people to pay for more moves or special abilities. It’s become more of a pay to win game than it ever has and I’m so disappointed.

Don’t spend money or else

I’ve been playing this game for 10 years. The levels are very hard so I need ads to win them sometimes. Well recently I got an ad for a bunch of gold for like a dollar. I just bought them on a whim. Latest update broke the main map. YOU CAN ONLY ACCESS ONE LEVEL AT A TIME! Even the original game allows access to all levels. Losing a longtime player

I’ve been playing Soda Crush for years, nearing the 20,000 game level and my spouse has also been playing on his own device. Unfortunately this game has become a money grab with boosters becoming more expensive while the number of moves for hard levels have been reduced thus forcing you on some level to keep buying boosters and gold bars. While I realize you can play without any of those extras, us long time players obviously do buy them from time to time. My spouse has already quit the game and I think the end is fast approaching for me. When you feel taken advantage of it’s time to say enough is enough.

I like this game and have played it for over a year. Unfortunately I lost my streak after about 420 days, so I tried watching an ad to get more gold bars. Guaranteed to infuriate you

This game has been expertly crafted to make you slightly (or not so slightly) infuriated every time you play it. If that sounds like something you want to include in your life, have at it. Keep in mind that this game exists to generate money for King, and their games have pulled in way, way more than a billion dollars in sales from people who need just one or two more moves to finish that level so that they can…what? Get that dopamine hit? Keep moving candies around? The game does not play by it’s own rules, pieces often don’t do what they are supposed to, and it CONSTANTLY ensures that you will not quite be able to finish a level. It’s absolutely maddening, not relaxing at all. There must be a thousand better ways to kill time that won’t incessantly try to manipulate you into spending money. Maybe read a book. I urge you to avoid this game.

It’s alright, but it doesn’t feel like it did in the 2010s

So much has changed in Candy Crush Soda Saga since its release in 2014. There used to be animated scrolling episode backgrounds, soundtracks composed by an orchestra, gameplay that’s not too fast, characters in every episode, basically everything that I remember about Candy Crush Soda Saga. But now there’s only one background for each level and the diorama, the same diorama since last year, a different font from the one that used to be in the game when it launched, gameplay that feels too fast, and the main character, Kimmy, is nowhere to be found. The only appearances she makes are when you combine a color bomb and a coloring candy. My ideas to make it feel more like it did in 2014 are: - Slow down the gameplay - Bring back Kimmy - Bring back the old font - Add the feature to switch between dioramas with characters by swiping on the screen - Bring back Kimmy’s Arcade - Add a feature that lets you switch between soundtracks - Change “Four In A Row” back to “Mr. Toffee’s Fair” So that’s basically all I have to talk about. Not only do you actually really win money, it might be a few dollars at first, but you actually do win. And it’s a pretty fun game ,especially when you work overnight and you get quiet and you have to stay awake. it was kind of childish shift first to me because it was too many colors, but I grew to love it and it’s only been a few weeks. I have been a lover of candy soda crush since 2013 but this new update sucks! You only get only a few moves now per game which is practically impossible to pass the level making it extremely difficult and frustrating with no free daily boosters like before. I guess its time I retire from a long yrs of playing this game and look somewhere else :(

It's a really amazing game which helps you to work smarter. It also requires a lot of patience as if you lose a level you could lose all your bottle streaks and replay the level with literally nothing.
