The only reason I'm giving this game 4* is due to the rotation for a foldable phone has a bug. It's fixed to a permanent rotation point in which I'm forced to use the phone in a awkward position. If your team can fix this issue then it's 5* from me!!!

great game fun to play until you get an opponent that has the laser guy. then it becomes not fun because its like they have a total cheat code. Definitely needs to be nerfed a little because its able to instant kill your units. within 6-7 rounds your defeated and the laser unit isnt affected by any defenses. its just wak tbh I forfeit each match I see with it before it starts because I know how it ends.

The ads suck! Steal your rewards even after watching the ads. The Close button is always broken, not only are you redirected to the site but the app crashes afterwards forcing you to rewatch the ad to get the reward or you lose your reward altogether. entertaining gameplay tho. however the broken ads take away all the joy from it.

Honestly a ton of fun! I am one to let ads play to earn game currency, etc, and I never felt like I was at a disadvantage for not spending real world money. I made it to Forge level 251 and 22,000 trophies in the Clash, with my crew pretty much maxed out. is a really addictive game at first. Once you get to a decent level, you get pitted against people with castles twice the size of yours. Then they get all the meteor strike boxes, they can roll off the -1 pads. I've yet to be able to roll off the -1pads. You'll have 36% and they'll have 80% and they'll get a meteor strike. Your turn comes around and you'll get the -1 pad.

This game has balanced now. It used to be terrible. I doubt I'm actually playing other people, just their build using AI. The game is cool and all, but whenever I finish an ad to get the extra rewards, the game will lag and hang. I will close the app, reopen it, and watch the ads again for the extra rewards but it will keep insisting on lagging and hanging or just stuck. edit: it won't still give me the rewards for the ads and then suddenly it matched me up with a far stronger opponent who I am clearly not in lwagues with which causes to lose my streak. from 4* to 1*

BAD UPDATE!!!! before the update your opponents were close in level and/or strength to you and both sides had a fighting chance, now I am getting opponents that have all characters at lvl 100 while my characters are only lvl 50s. I hardly ever win a battle now and its taken all the fun out of this game!!! You are up against bots + There are no P v P or battle friends options. There is no surreder/forfeit option. If you tie the opponent wins no matter what. If a tie occurs then you should go into sudden death instead of ALWAYS losing to the opponent. Your game is freezing after watching ads for rewards. If I could I would rate your game at ZERO STARS. The game was fun and a great way to past time. However, with the last update, now you have some with 8K trophies and partially leveled characters/castle going against someone with 70K trophies and maxed everything. It is now impossible to find someone to battle against that’s within even 2K trophies of you. When money hungry companies push too hard with the pay to play, people will inherently leave. It was fun while it lasted. The game has been deleted.

The gameplay is genuinely fun and enjoyable, and I had a great time playing this game. Unfortunately, there’s a major issue that really hurt my experience. If I leave a match before it ends, I’m unable to load back into the game afterward. It either gets stuck loading or won’t reconnect at all, forcing me to restart. I hope this is fixed soon because the game itself is a lot of fun, but this bug makes it frustrating to keep playing.

While the game was fun, once you hit the max tier and get into the colosseum, you get matched with people that are essentially maxed with all lvl 100 characters and max castle. Considering my characters are still in the 50s and 60s, and my castle is nowhere near maxed, I lose 95% of the games. This also makes leveling slower, as I’m not opening chests. If there were more tiers or better matchmaking, it would be fun. But getting killed by maxed characters and castles is no longer fun. Quitting the game now.

This game is fun, but there are two reasons I’m giving it only 2 stars. 1. There is no way to contact customer service at all, especially if you have a problem with a purchase or another issue that needs help. 2. The matchmaking is unfair. I recommended this game to a friend, and he’s consistently matched against players who are three times stronger than he is. That makes the game frustrating instead of fun. I enjoy playing Castle Busters and want to see it improve. Adding real customer support and making the matchmaking fairer would make the game much more enjoyable for everyone.

Listen, great game. No notes. Except why is it that when you hit the Clash Colosseum you start getting paired against maxed out castles with maxed out units? My units are barely pushing level 70 and my castle is only just starting to get the partial upgraded blocks for the final upgrades. It’s absolutely ridiculous and completely unfair. This is a fun little game without all the ads. You can choose to watch ads to gain small rewards but they aren't constantly forced on you. Some matches can feel unfair due to the random special bonuses that appear but otherwise seems to be balanced. I suspect that higher levels will be a large portion of pay players but lower level grind is easy and free.

I have been playing the game for a few months now and really liked it. This last update has made the match-ups completely unfair. 80% of the time, I get matched up with people with several times as many trophies as me. Now I need to quit 80% of my matches just to get a match-up I have a chance of winning. Win percentage has taken a huge hit and the game just isn’t fun anymore. Once you hit champions league the game is absolutely awful at matchmaking. It will pair you against a much higher powered opponent every single time. Making it impossible to win. If they would fix that mechanic and set it to where you competed against people based off of trophy numbers instead of league placement it would be much more enjoyable. I don’t write reviews often but I’ve been enjoying the this game more than any other I’ve played in a very long time until… this last update. The game was easy to get into where with some play time you could be successful with minimum pay to play. After this last update the matchmaking has gotten to the point where you’re now playing against opponents 3 and 4x stronger than you making it almost impossible to win. Then they have daily challenges to win games in a row which isn’t going to happen with this matchmaking. Please fix the matchmaking issue. I quit a few other games to have more time to play this game.

It's a fun game. The characters have their own unique ability to give you a strategic build on how to win once you learn their abilities. I did pay for the "no ads" to build on fortifying my castle; however, after 3 weeks of that it started getting monotonous, so unless they come up with an update that makes it more challenging, I'll be looking for something a bit more exciting like this game when I first started playing it.

After the latest update, the existing matchmaking system has become the worst matchmaking I have ever encountered, having to face opponents who have 3 times more trophies from mine with troops that are all level 100. Not all chests can be opened, sometimes only 1 money chest can be opened even though there are 2 obtained. Sorry for this time I gave a star.

I have been playing it on my iPad for a while, and had a good time playing it. Now, It won’t load on either of my iPads. I have deleted it, un loaded it. Shut off my iPads after deleting it, and reinstall it. No luck. If this is a phone app only now, please let us know. It was becoming I favorite, But it is Hard to love if you can’t play it.

Really really fun game, totally agree with the reviewer that said it's like worms Armageddon. REALLY enjoy the gameplay, but it's nearly impossible to progress without spending money. I'm actually totally fine with spending money on games, but these devs seem extra greedy, everything is temporary (7 days, 14 days, etc.) and they are SUPER expensive for what you get. Listen, I'll pay for extra perks, but there's no way I'm going to pay $70 A MONTH to get the pass and not have ads. Ridiculous

The game was fun at first, but it became repetitive and boring. There’s no real progression in the levels or in building and upgrading my castle. On top of that, there’s no true online multiplayer mode, which makes the gameplay feel limited and less engaging.

Here's your review. Its a fun game for a while. Once you get to about 7k trophies it matches you with people that have 40k trophies. The balance in this game after a certain point is ridiculous and they just want you to spend money like every other mobile game app. Save yourself the disappointment.

From 2 stars to 1 star. Now instead of getting 5 chest after watching ads (that tie up your phone) for unlimited coins, they took it away and now its only 3x5 times. Before that, the zoom feature which was on the right side, was moved to the left, which makes it impossible to zoom in and size up your opponent. Let's not mention how the game freeze every week, when it refresh. There's no instructions, I've been trying to upgrade my castle peaks from blue to red and it can't. Don't waste ur time.

Matchmaking is horrendous. I get matched with people who's units are 15-20 levels higher with fully upgraded castles at least three levels above mine. I struggle through nearly all of my matches. gameplay is good, its gets extremely repetitive with only one mode to play.

The game is fun and you really don’t have to pay for premium units, regular units are more than enough. The issue is one you beat the 25 arenas you are now paired with opponents that are way more powerful, way more, you got no chance. So this is where I stop playing, leave this review, and move to the next game.

I have had this game for a while but never opened it up to play. Found it on an ad. Now that I’ve opened it, I haven’t played the other games anymore. You don’t have to spend money which is a plus and you only get ads if you want extra items. Be careful because the game is addictive!

You can no longer get the bonuses by watching video on an IPad. Works fine on an IPhone. Frequently can’t connect to the servers. Game freezes and random crashes. This was a fun game but too many bugs and the patches make it worse. Zero support from the developers.

I’ve been enjoying your game. There was an update a few days ago. Since then EVERY TIME I go to play I cannot connect. It’s not my iPad. It’s not my home WiFi. It’s not my location. I have to shutdown my iPad to rest and then I can connect and play. You have a serious bug issue! I’ll wait a few more days and then delete the app if it’s not fixed.

I’ve earned my way. I spent a long time earning my way. And now you put me against people that pay to win. Flame thrower over and over, and bugs, and pirate ship. I’m done with that. I had a near 80% win rate and earned it. Now I only play people with weapons that have to be purchased. I’m not doing that. I’m deleting this game. It was fun til you put me up against people I can’t compete with because I’m not spending money. I was having fun when you had to actually use skill. And I lost to people that I’m surprised by. Really like the game. Spent $ on some items. Less than 3 days after starting to play I really dig it. Then, won’t log on. Can’t play. No access.
