About
Three real mahjong games in one app: American, Hong Kong (Cantonese) and Vietnamese. Three complete rule sets. Offline, no ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases. Buy it once, keep it forever. No timers. No disconnects. Nobody rushing you, just you and a table of very calm cats. Possibly the first single-player game to bring American, Cantonese and Vietnamese mahjong together in one place. WHY IT EXISTS I made this for my mother, who never learned to play online, and for my girlfriend, who is a famously sore loser. No countdown clocks. No dropped connections. Just take your time, put on the music, and play tiles with the cats. THREE COMPLETE RULE SETS HONG KONG / CANTONESE MAHJONG 19 authentic faan patterns with a three-faan minimum. Pong, kong (exposed, concealed and promoted), chow, self-draw and robbing the kong. Choose your payout rule: the discarder pays for everyone, or split. The AI reads the discards and plays defensively when it has to. It is not throwing tiles at random. AMERICAN MAHJONG The full flow: Charleston passing, jokers, exposures and dead hands. Plus a built-in CUSTOM CARD EDITOR: type in the hands you actually play, for any year or any house rules, and save as many cards as you like. Ships with an original 70-hand practice card across the eight familiar categories. VIETNAMESE MAHJONG, 160 TILES The Southern set: 8 wild jokers plus flowers, seasons, kings and queens. Phan / Mun scoring, with genuinely enormous hands. The engine works out the highest-scoring way to assign your jokers, so you never miss a win. WHY PEOPLE KEEP IT INSTALLED - Zero pressure: play anywhere, anytime, fully offline. On a plane, in a basement, on a terrible connection. - No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases, no account to create. - Nothing is collected. The game never connects to the internet at all. - Adorable cat opponents: nobody sighing at your discards, and the treats you win are all yours. - Calm, gentle sound: soft music and very soft cats. - Your rules: 1-24 rounds per match, music and sound toggle separately. - Four languages: English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Vietnamese. Win graciously, lose gracefully, and quietly become the best player at the family table. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Mah Jongg League, Inc. All included hands are original and card content is fully user-configurable. No real money. No gambling. No wagering of any kind.
