I just started it but, I love it just as much as I loved cats and soup. really fun!! edit 30 days later: after playing the game longer I have to say I think i love it more then cats and soup! great merge game and i really don't care for merge games (I'm usually too impatient to wait for energy to refill). they have the best events and if you really grind you don't have to spend a dime to enjoy this game. they are very generous with rhe energy, best merge game!!! i love it!!! thank you devs!!!

This is a really cute and fun merge game, with no unnecessary ads! There is the option to watch ads for additional rewards, but I am so appreciative that this is optional and not shoved in your face every few seconds like most other games. I am really enjoying playing 😊

I love this cozy game! The cats are so cute and I enjoy dressing them up and watching them get into mischief. It has some paid things and time based things but you don't have to play all the time or spend money to enjoy it. I really appreciate that you have to select to watch an ad for a reward rather than having ads randomly up in your face. I did end up spending money to get the ad free version but only because I enjoy this game and I want to support the talented and thoughtful developers.

In game purchases are a little spicy priced but not needed unless you want too. cats are super cute, art and animation is phenomenal. 10/10. CONNECTION ISSUES I love the game but I hate that it does not connect while I'm on wi-fi. Like, how is that even possible when I have a strong connection? It has happened maybe 3 days after installing it. I'm enjoying playjling it every day whenever I have free time but the disconnection issues just take away the fun. Will consider uninstalling if not fixed soon.

The game is beautiful and fun, but too frustrating even with purchases. Logging in every couple hours throughout the day is the play style. If you can't do this during the week, season passes are the only way to possibly complete events. Passes cost $8 or $16 each month. This is a nice way of supporting ongoing content, but ad-free costs another (one-time) fee of $22. If the season passes included an ad-free experience and guaranteed event completion, it would be more balanced.

This is a super fun and addicting app! My only issue with it so far is that often times when I watch an ad for a generator or refresh of the shop (I watch it all the way through and I press the x) the app crashes or re-loads, making me need to watch an ad again for my reward. It's super annoying and inconvenient, please patch this up!! otherwise, this is a super cute game!

It's pretty nefariously designed to get you instantly hooked on the addictive gameplay, shower you in regen bonuses and then pull the rug right out from under you when the energy system becomes time gated. Then the REAL game begins. If you can resist the urge to spend money on more energy while the initial dopamine rush is surging through your brain, I applaud you, I was not that strong. However I find this game can be enjoyed frugally if you open it up just once or twice a day to zone out.

I did a review on cats and soup, and i gave it four stars. i seemed to have loved magic recipe even more! again, the art style and dressing up cats is adorable. also there is always something to do. love that. i haven't ran into any issues or bugs with the game (im one week in). i appreciate how this one isn't as much as a pay to win as cats and soup is, but theres still definetly some in there. even then its really cheap and some things cost 99 cents. also love the frequent events! amazing game

I'm deeply in love with this game. This game is addicting and with the energy refilling time, that controls the urge to play nonstop. But that is also the biggest downside of the game, it would only refill up to 100 which is a bummer, whenever I came home from school, 100 or even the gifts is still not enough, I didn't play for almost an entire day yet I only have about 100 energy to spend which is a bummer. It would be nice if it won't stop refilling without limit.
