It works, but you might hate it

You get the app, set it up, and learn how to get to it during gameplay. That’s the easy part. Then start a match, line up a shot as if there is no wind, then get in and out of the widget as fast as you can obtaining the adjustment for the wind. Then you apply that adjustment to the shot you lined up, and take the shot. If you did it quick enough your game improves. Too slow and you hurry a shot or time out completely. GC has plenty of frustration. This can add more of that, or it can heighten your enjoyment. You’ll either love it or hate it.

Greedy fools decided to try making a silly little wind tool into a cash app. And now it’s impossible to even understand. So stupid to make this simple tool so complicated and paid. You guys are idiots. So dumb.

Was working good

Not working good anymore after iPad os 18.6 and now 26. Notifications come very late and sometimes not even populated with your ring options, please fix.

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

The earlier version was much better than this. The dark red , blue and green over the ring numbers made it harder to read the numbers. There doesn’t appear to be any Golden Clubs to use for Golden Shot like there once was.

Doesn’t work. Save your money

This used to be great, however, now you are unable to select bag on the calculator screen. Ive purchased the app, as well as the slider calculator, and I can’t use them. Save your money

I like the updates but

I do like the updates but with the old version, I used to be able to touch the Bar up top to add the wind and elevation and the bar would reappear up top with the recommended ring adjustments. Now it disappears.

Appreciate the work!

I suggest letting us edit the club ranking on same screen as when I choose what clubs to add to a bag. Two bags nested to do same as we used to do on one screen before update isn’t very efficient and a little confusing. Also CAN’T WAIT for “road to fame” clubs! We NEED!!!

This app works great have had no club changes or anything has worked everyone using the Cpc detector to complete it several times. Also use this app during tourney play and love it and have zero problems . Ty creator.

Switching to golf clash notebook

This up used to be great, the new updates have ruined it and I’m switching over to golf clash notebook. No overlay and you can’t update clubs when a game is happening. With the old version I had a bag just for the CPC that I could adjust the bag to the clubs given in the CPC. It worked so well I had 14 straight wins in the CPC now I can’t get two wins in a row. Clearly the developers don’t play the game.

Please re-release the original version

Every piece of the new update is significantly worse than the original version. I tried to avoid updating the app when I read the initial reviews but my iPad auto downloaded the update and now I’m stuck. I’ll buy you a cup of coffee if I can have the old version back.

CPC still completely glitching for me wit IOS 17.7

After putting caddie in CPC mode and then starting a cpc match and taking a screen shot once I return to Caddie the correct clubs are there and as soon as I press “done” poof…disappears

Bugs after update

Paid for CPC auto detect, after recent update app crashes after reading the clubs and when you open it back up goes back to normal mode, try to use cpc again and it crashes, completely useless. Needs to be corrected or refund money please

New update

Do not update to new version. Stick with the old. The elevation swipe is gone and now you have to tap little squares until you get the elevation number you want. I can already see it now when looking for a club adjustment number, I’m going to be looking at the wrong clubs number since the numbers and clubs are stacked on top of each other unlike the old version where the club was on the left and the numbers were beside it in their own columns. Wish I could go back to the older version.

Slight issues

It would be nice if the Slider step was remembered. Also if a double tap Clear All (the long touch takes too long) , and finally if the Delete a bag had a verify dialogue so when it gets touched by accident the bag doesn’t instantly disappear. 🤣

Getting there.

The app is working a lot better. Am now able to put all my bags in. It does seem to take more time to operate than the previous app. In the old version i was able to quickly add cpc bag. Not this one. The cpc detection does not work on iPhone. Like stated previously. The app is almost there when it is a large cup of coffee is yours my friend.

The new version is good!

While not without its bugs and things that could be better, I found that this version is much easier to use in game than the old version. With a touch of the notification you can easily open caddie, adjust, and then a simple swipe from the bottom horizontal bar to quickly get back to the game. The recently added instructions were a huge help! Thank you! BUGS After adding account and bags, I needed to restart app to get them to appear in the wind tab SUGGESTIONS Add the chosen club to the notification after adjusting the wind, etc Make it faster to change bags. Currently takes 2 taps to choose. Could be done in one. What is the point of multiple accounts? Maybe add an example to the instructions.

The latest version fixes most of the glaring problems of the past, with one exception. Switching bags on the wind-calculator page is still too many steps, and therefore too slow. The current version forces me to click once to choose which account, and only then brings up a drop-down menu of bag choices. A much better approach would be to have two separate buttons—one to change accounts, and the other to select bags. Most people play multiple games in a row using the same game account. Even better, for users (like me) who only play with one game account, you should eliminate the account-setting step on the wind calculator page, leaving us with just the bag-choice menu. Speed matters with Clash Caddie, because GC is a timed game. I can’t be losing half a second on every stroke. One final complaint: the ball power button is essentially illegible. Please make the presence/absence of the GC ball power icons a user preference. Reading a simple number is much faster and more accurate than interpreting an icon, even when the icon includes a microscopic number at the bottom.

Was pretty frustrating at the start and adding bags. Had to delete and re download and then add a new bag and that worked. Previous efforts had no bag in wind but I had bags created. Works great again. Thanx.

Upgrade is a Downgrade

This new version of clash caddie has added steps to change the levels of your clubs in your golf bag. It makes Checkpoint Challenge more difficult to adjust clubs as there are added steps. Plus the app doesn’t include the Road to Fame adjustments yet. Can you please give us the original Clash Caddie option back so I can trash this complicated “upgrade”?

New version works fine, but buggy…

Plz help! When I update my clubs, it does not save the new numbers, even after pressing “save”. Perhaps include some tutorials? I managed to figure it out, but looks like a lot of others are struggling to use it. Others ideas… line up the “clear wind” button with the select wind button and do the same with the “clear slider” button. Also, we need the “series” clubs from the road-to-fame soon.

Poor Upgrade

It’s not often when an upgrade is worse then the original version. This upgrade made CPC unplayable. I use both my iPad to play and iPhone for this app. Can’t play cpc any more because this upgrade made it unusable. Very disappointed. Won’t be paying for this app again. Certainly not buying a coffee when the app is worse.

App doesn’t reappear

Ever since upgrading to the new version, when I switch between this app and Golf Clash, the Clash Caddie app no longer reappears at the top of my screen so I can access and make adjustments. I’ve checked and readjusted every setting possible to make this happen. Not happy!!! If someone can give me a suggestion, I’m open to it.
