Won't even load games now-just goes back to the main screen

stick with delta. avoid this at all costs.
- mqiru · v1.7.1
Seems to run games OK, but attempting to import ROMs for any system causes the app to crash unless you do a single ROMs at a time. Not very useful when a full ROM set can be over 1000 files. Seems odd to have to do this import anyway - why not just use an app folder that’s scanned on launch like so many other apps do?
- JohnnyXmas · v1.7.1
I downloaded it hoping to play some of the classic games I have collecting dust in storage and don’t want to dig out. Installed on my Mac and Apple TV, then on the Mac dragged a couple ROM files to the emulator of choice. It went well and I played a few games but the next time I went to load it I got “Download Failed” alongside checking my internet connection. My internet connection was fine so no idea why this happened. I’m troubleshooting again now and some games work while others don’t. Seems pretty random which will load and which won’t.
- CP McG · v1.7.1
I wish I would’ve read the description a little better. There is no actual games included in this and there is no directions on how to get games loaded into. This would be nice for a little more cotton dry direction.

The iCloud experience is seamless. The synchronization between devices is lightning fast. I feel like this is definitely the strongest point of the emulator that the developers should continue to advertise and lean into. For right now, the features are a little bit more sparse, even for me, who’s not a power user. I would like the option to hide the console systems that I’m not playing in the menu, add new controller skins and different save states, but I can tell this product is going to be amazing!

SNES games won’t work
- Jason3211 · v1.7.1
Need to improve does not work with controller I try with PlayStation and nimbus and only can uploads unzip files apple will not refund if you buy it
- Djscorpionrmx · v1.7.1
Overall very nice. I just want to see turbo grafx-16 support and the aforementioned improvements to import my entire library vs 1 rom at a time. I’m using it with an Apple TV + 8bitdo controllers, an iPhone 15 + backbone, and maybe later on my Mac laptops.
- brandon_dacrib · v1.7.1
The emulator runs great. You don’t have to go through any of the weird setup hoops of most emulators, the sound and visuals are spot on, and the interface is excellent. The only problem is importing ROMS. If you try to import more than one or two roms at a time, the app crashes. It can be super tedious to have to navigate to your ROMs folder over and over just to add a single ROM. It really needs batch ROM importing. With that said, once you manage to get your roms imported, they work on all of your devices. It keeps the ROMs in iCloud, so you just start up the app on Apple TV, and all your ROMs are there. It’s the best emulator available!
- jkeitz · v1.7.1
The tvOS version is useless. I can see my game sync via iCloud but there’s now way to actually select and play it. I purchased the app for the sole purpose of being able to switch between iOS and tvOS and feel like I’ve been ripped off.
- dmccollins · v1.7.1
Doesn’t easily integrate with backbone, otherwise amazing Emulator for apple ecosystem
- DJ Cra · v1.7.1

- Dr7945 · v1.7.1
I like the concept of the app, however it doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried numerous to add games to the app but nothing happens.
- Hiddenhandmusic · v1.7.1
Even though this is a young product on a young platform, I’m giving it 5 stars because of where I think it’s headed, and knowing that the developers are committed to constant iteration, updates, and features. I feel like retro gaming is a fantastic use case and killer app for AVP, and no one other than Consoles has jumped on it yet. Yes, I suppose you can run RetroArch as a “compatible” iPad app, but it’s nothing like seeing native visionOS app development, and the team behind Consoles seems committed to advancing the AVP version specifically in addition to adding new features and compatible systems. Consoles currently has a very sparse UI, but in a way that’s good; super easy to just launch it and jump into your favorite ROMs. I’m excited to see them continue to iterate on this app and the features they can bring to the visionOS version specifically. Maybe immersive environments, or the ability to place retro TVs and game consoles around your actual living room. (Personal wish list: Odyssey2 support!)
- grobie · v1.6.1
This has made Atari retro gaming on my Vision Pro and AppleTV so much easier than messing with RetroArch, which can be overwhelming. To the developer: keep iterating on this! Sometimes it's having trouble registering the fire button on my Xbox One controller. Also, adding Odyssey2/Vidoopac support would be a dream come true! Fingers crossed.
- grobie · v1.5.0
Its wonderful that we can play on apple tv with icloud sync, but there isn’t any much more then just adding games and deleting them. Please add some more features like game save importing and exporting, save states, etc.
- Kendolink · v1.4.0
If Apple were to make a console emulator app this would be it. The seamless syncing of games and saves between all of your Apple devices is an absolute game changer. If you are heavy into the Apple ecosystem and love retro gaming it doesn’t get better than this.
- Ragepound · v1.4.0
My wife is currently playing Super Mario World on my Apple TV. When she exits the game, she can seamlessly resume her progress on her iPad or iPhone, thanks to the ROM collection and iCloud sync. I highly recommend using Bluetooth controllers for a more immersive experience. This setup surpasses PC emulators and has brought me an abundance of nostalgic and enjoyable retro gaming. It seems like the developers actively update the game regularly, which is a huge plus. Thank you, developers, for creating this fantastic experience!
- Keggman12 · v1.3.0
Basic emulator, I use it mainly for 32x. I would love to see Sega CD added. Also how do we use save states? That feature is a must have nowadays
- Gavdagaot89999 · v1.3.0
Best emulation I’ve seen on iOS. Love the native tvOS app. Desperately need n64 support. Please let us hide consoles we don’t use. Add recents shelf view on tv homescreen (like retro arch does), add NSO n64 controller support. Excited for the future.
- 116567477 · v1.2.0
This is a really minimal emulator app, almost too minimal. While the scraping works well, there’s no apparent way to manually edit artwork or metadata, even for ROMs that are not auto detected or misdetected. The auto resume feature is nice, but it would be nice to be able to toggle off by default or adjust on a per game basis. Some games I just don’t want that behavior. Overall, a solid start, will wait for future versions to hopefully add more features and systems…
- Hrhnick · v1.1.0
I know you’re like me, wondering, “Why can’t I play Sega games on Delta?” Well, this is the app you’ve been waiting for. It runs smoothly and is just as easy to use as Delta. You won’t be disappointed!
- A.Kinng · v1.0
It simply didn’t work, sticking with delta which is free and just works
- Neurophonix · v1.0
I’ve been waiting for this emulator for forever. It is fairly new and lacking features that other emulators have but the fact that you can seamlessly switch between your Apple devices including your Apple TV is a game changer
- Michael24634 · v1.0
Cool app.
- beavispeavis · v1.0
No customization options and the A and B buttons are swapped for some reason. Why go through the effort to emulate a game and force someone to change the controls they’ve been used to for maybe decades? The controls cover the game and have no transparency. Landscape mode is forced also.
