Good Silent Service vibes It's accessible but still deep (haha sub pun) enough to provide some real challenge. The expansions have added a lot of interesting challenge as well. if I had one suggestion it would be a realistic TDC that could be enabled through the options menu and the map told to support it

Exactly the WW2 submarine game I was looking for. I loved this game when I was younger. Good missions. Fun to play. The AA gun is a bit embarrassing to use in public. Great job.

Great sub simulation. I had it years ago on an Amiga, it was called "Silent Service" then. I have a habit of never giving 5 stars for anything, so this is my max score.

I am a Great Fan of Silent Hunter on Desktop from "back in the day". I found this by random input searching for a phone sub game. I rarely purchase games as most have been a disappointment. Last week I was "in the right mood" and the price was acceptable, so I tried it. for fans of the original planet of the apes series, when movie 3 had three apes come to earth. She drank champagne the official described as grape juice plus. well this game is grape juice. So is this game a PLUS.

Love this game, and have been playing since it came out, and used to play the original game before that. This game is hyper-accurate to the ASW technology of the time. The only thing that stands out that I think could use an adjustment are the range-lines on the projected torpedo and ship tracks. I cannot read the numbers in yellow against the blue ocean map background. would be better to have a more highly contrasting color like gray, red, or black, etc. Still, this is an amazing game!

the only thing I don't like about this game is the lack of third person pov free cam and first person in the sub and I want a tornado cam to track it like silent hunter and the damage is unrealistic this probably won't get to the devs

Realism Please. This could be a great game but the developers seem to think that the Japanese Navy had 1000's of Destroyers and Sub Chasers. I would much rather have a realistic number of navy vessels Vs commercial vessels, rather than being able to sink 5 Battleships each patrol and dodge the 2 Destroyers and 3 Sub Chasers that escort each small tanker. Edit - Was 2 stars but now 1 after advice from the developers - know your game - you can't change the frequency of Escorts only to the type.

I took graphic arts in college in mid seventies ~ somehow game agent designer choose the worst Fonts on the planet. Making Reader glasses the only choice, to see what micro instructions say. Micro Panel Instruments, if Pop Outs, to see clearly what they are, touching panel. Was this game designed for PC, then forced into small phone screen? Regardless, forced to scrub game from phone. If simple Arcade style, w/o all the complex Industrial Nonsense. It's not Flight Sim. Cheers

This game is extremely fun, a good way to lose track of a couple hours or more if you are not careful. So many different control options for the sub from maneuvers to torpedo control. Upgrading the submarine is a cool feature and the ability to train your men in different departments is pretty cool.

A great single-player submarine simulator. A) Submarines are for the patient, slow then overwhelming. It takes time to set up the kill. B) WW2 technology and weapons were not great. Commanders constantly complained that the torpedoes were not accurate, and when they did hit, not explode. I love that I can set torpedoes by hand. Waiting for the multi-player version.
