While it's a nice game and challenging, which I like, it's frustrating having ads during the game. Why? It defeats the purpose which is to enjoy and relax while playing. Ads popping up during a game takes away the enjoyment and creates stress cause you never know when another one will pop up. I get the ones at the end but during the game is highly annoying. The more thinking you need to place the letters the more ads you end up watching. That's a no for me.

I absolutely love this game, but as others say, I absolutely hate the ad *overkill!* no one should be interrupted during their game, with a paid or free version. $15 would be ok as a one time pmt, or at most a yr pmt. I pay $10 a year, for my Zoho notebook app, & I rely on it & use it 3-4 times a day, some days more! So how do you choose the folks that you do a 20-30 min call with & give them a *surprise?* it sure isn't everyone! I don't expect an answer/solution, I just wanted to get my .02 in.

Such a nice game, ruined by several negatives. My phone gets incredibly hot when playing, and the battery is drained at an alarming rate. The ads only last a few seconds thankfully, but they are mostly fraudulent and the volume is almost always turned to 11. Very annoying! I picked this up because it was advertised from another game I was playing, and, for once, a crossword looked neat to me. I enjoyed the first handful of puzzles before it dawned on me that a lot of art is AI generated. A good chuck of "crossword" answers are literally just abbreviations (i.e., a hint of "center field" would be CF). It has a few neat words here and there and isn't crazy challenging, but the bot they pit you against is posed to seem like another person and feels scummy.

I like this games it's fun. BUT the tracking on it sucks. I play games for money and it's not tracking the levels so I get paid what it owes for the levels on Freecash. I found this from another ad. It clearly says no ads along with other things you want to hear like 100 percent free. It has an ad banner and forced ads. Advertised lie. I only came to play this because it said no ads. It could be an interesting way to play crosswords. But because you lied, I don't want to play anymore. A fun relaxing game where you fill up alphabets to compete against an AI (presumably). The downside is you have to strategise to maximise points gain if you are looking to 3stars each level, and you cannot turn back to previous levels. also, there are some intrusive ads but you can skip them within 5-10secs.
