in the middle of trying to figure things out and my screen is constantly being sent to shein on my browser. fun to play but no matter how well you do figuring out what the words are sometimes you just get such $h!tty letter choices you can't win no matter if you automatically figure it all out. more a game of luck than skill.. if its random then thats insane how many times I've set the words up and the game has knocked them down 🙄🙄

False advertising! The ad for this game showed a woman describing as she played these clues about words in "column C" and "the word WINE in the 8th row" etc... so that's not right. I do like these types of games, but the fact the ad is showing a different game/gameplay makes me not trust the game. Poor excuse to get people to look at your game. Just be honest!

Bait and switch ads FOR this app. There are ads online that make it look like this is going to be a simple brain teaser style game when it's a two player (pretty sure it's a bot) Scrabble game. It's not even that good. the clues aren't that clear (not helped with a small phone size, and even with tapping to make them bigger doesn't help with explaining what some of them are asking for) and even though it doesn't SEEM to have a lot of ads (I only played one round) it's really not all that fun.

I don’t get the logic of this game. Mostly, I know all the words in a given grid, but often you don’t give me the letters with which the words can be correctly completed. How do I compete with another guy then? I almost complete a long word, just short of one letter that is absent from the options; the other guy gets that letter, taking undue advantage of my knowledge and effort. Ridiculous!

While it's a nice game and challenging, which I like, it's frustrating having ads during the game. Why? It defeats the purpose which is to enjoy and relax while playing. Ads popping up during a game takes away the enjoyment and creates stress cause you never know when another one will pop up. I get the ones at the end but during the game is highly annoying. The more thinking you need to place the letters the more ads you end up watching. That's a no for me.

I absolutely love this game, but as others say, I absolutely hate the ad *overkill!* no one should be interrupted during their game, with a paid or free version. $15 would be ok as a one time pmt, or at most a yr pmt. I pay $10 a year, for my Zoho notebook app, & I rely on it & use it 3-4 times a day, some days more! game is exactly like the ads, although occasionally there are ads sprinkled in but they arent that bad. the opponent is a bot, but personally i like it. overall great game I love it. i just wish you could customize ur pfp without a set list. love the game tho

Love the game and would have given 5* if it wasn't for the ads. I would love to play without ads but the ad free options are quite expensive when it's not even free forever. I've paid for many games to be ad free, when they say ad free it's forever, unlike Crossword Go. What I pay on other games for no ads you only get 3 months on Crossword Go. Which is a shame.

I really like this game. however, the inability to have a dark screen is just too much for my eyes. The white level is very painful even on my lowest brightness setting on my phone. I only play once in a while because of this. Also, there are a LOT of religious undertones. Such a bummer because its a great game.

I picked this up because it was advertised from another game I was playing, and, for once, a crossword looked neat to me. I enjoyed the first handful of puzzles before it dawned on me that a lot of art is AI generated. A good chuck of "crossword" answers are literally just abbreviations (i.e., a hint of "center field" would be CF). It has a few neat words here and there and isn't crazy challenging, but the bot they pit you against is posed to seem like another person and feels scummy.
