Good game

It’s a good game, very fun and challenging to some, but the only thing is, the ad I saw for it was completely different from the game which I feel is most games, but it’s a word game, at least make it so it accurate .

Refills?????

Nice until you had to do refills and pay for them if you want to play more…. Why tf I gotta wait to play more of a brain straining puzzle game? Lost all interest after seeing that and deleted because of it which sucks because this game seemed fun and unique. Guess that was falsely placed 🫠

Nothing looks like adds these days

I was watching youtube than i came across this game and it’s adds, i was like “cool you can solve the opposites(or whatever) and get hint letters to solve a sentence, and when i downloaded it, it was nothing like the adds! And their is so many adds! I’m not gonna pay for no adds! And i’m bad at remembering words, i only downloaded the game because you can solve stuff to get the hint letters

Misleading and a flat out LIE

I was shown an ENTIRELY different game ad. I was shown physical puzzles and piecing things together to “find the code” which looked really fun. The game as a whole isn’t even bad, I would’ve kept it, but the clickbait garbage misdirection just to bag the download is foul and you can hold this 1 ⭐️ while you’re at it 😁👎

Good game but,

I like this game a lot. But there is one problem. When you fail a level and try it again. ALL of the letters disappear instead of most of it. Then it is just impossible to do the puzzle. It makes me SO MAD 😡😡😡. So please change it and make it easier instead of making it harder.

Devs: Do YOU think the game is boring?

I can’t figure out a reason that a developer would advertise their game as something it’s not unless they think the game is garbage. This game isn’t even that bad, other than being repetitive and boring, but I will never pay money for a game that has false advertisements. Instead of lying about a game, just develop one that you believe is enjoyable in the first place.

Fun game, but found a typo

Fun game, am enjoying it. Did find a typo on level 95 “After victory, tighten your helmet chord.” The correct spelling is cord. Chord= musical harmony or mathematical line. Cord= physical wire or rope. It would be nice if you could give feedback in game if you find an error.

Buggy and frustrating freemium game that tries to push you to buy temporary boosts

Game is buggy and, like many freemium games, tries to steer you to buy their nonstop cycle of paid upgrades. Would be fun if they got it working well with just their remove-ads fee, but it has many more issues and pushes you to buy a constant stream of paid boosts. Many puzzles are designed to be very difficult if not impossible to solve without them. Unlike normal cryptograms, you can't solve by trial and error; instead you have to manually type in every letter in the puzzle and if you guess wrong or make a typo on your tiny phone keyboard, it counts as a "mistake" of which you only get two before the puzzle is forfeit. It is very easy to tap the wrong letter by mistake, even if you have figured out the right one. Three mistakes ends the puzzle, and there's a huge penalty for losing. The puzzle is restarted with no starter letters, any boosts spent are lost, and a solution nearly impossible without spending more of those boosts. Any hope of getting a free boost for the day by solving enough puzzles in a row is also gone. You also must end every puzzle you start in a single phone session, without putting down your phone. If you set your phone down for more than a minute or so, the game resets and shows that puzzle as lost along with any boosts that had been used. If you don't remember exactly which letters you already had when you try again, it can become nearly impossible to solve without spending more boosts. If you haven't yet paid for the "no ads" fee, the ads are VERY intrusive. They take over the whole screen and lock up your phone at times, until you force quit the app. And they repeatedly send you to fraudulent web sites or download pages for new apps without your consent. I'm surprised that passed Apple's review. It's all geared to make this very frustrating to play without paying extra for those boosts.

Deceptive Advertising

Saw a video on social media where you match up shapes to get letters to solve a puzzle. This game is not that at all. It’s a regular old cryptogram, which is fine but NOT what was portrayed in the videos.

Fun game

Enjoying this brain exercise. One issue that is frustrating me is when I go to press the correct letter (and I KNOW it’s the correct letter) and, as is typical on iPhone keyboards, my finger touches the letter right next to it and it marks it as a mistake. 😕 Maybe you all can figure out a way for a that not to be an issue, other than playing the game with a stylus. 😬 Otherwise I love the app.

Keyboard in the app os designed to make you fail.

Too many times I’ve typed a letter and it doesn’t register. If I’ve figured out a word I keep going and suddenly it’s two mistakes in a row because the game keyboard just doesn’t keep up.

Love the game

Fun to play. I really enjoyed the game. However Seems like most my errors was because my fingers hit wrong key (close together). Suggest have an option if you get one right fill in others (this would be an option). Suggestion 2: make font on numbers a darker color. I love the sayings and the picture idioms. This is a fun game!

Lost Lives due to glitch

There is a serious lag and playing some of the daily calendar glitches they don’t open and then you loose a life which is pretty unfair. Outside of that I do enjoy the game

Love the game but…

I totally love this game but the fact that I can no longer do the daily cryptograms is frustrating. I updated my phone to the new iPhone 17 and the new iOS update to 26.4 and can no longer play the daily cryptograms. I get just a blank page and if I close the game and reopen it, I lose a life. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and had to start from lvl 1 again, this was frustrating as well. Please look into this, not sure if any others are having the same issue or not.

Daily puzzle doesn’t load

Loved this game, played daily. Ever since the last update however, the daily puzzle when I click on it the puzzle never loads. So daily puzzles are unplayable for me. Takes the fun out of the game when it doesn’t work anymore.

Best word game

This is such a fun game but there are glitches. It’s frustrating when you have to take a mistake because it froze and you didn’t. Most recent frustration is that the “daily” games stopped showing as completed about the middle of this month. I complete the game but box stays white with no green check.

Doesn’t work anymore

As other reviewers have said the daily games aren’t working. I emailed the developer, didn’t get an answer. I checked the app store and updated my app as it said there were recent bug fixes. It fixed the daily games aren’t working for one day and it’s not working again. I wouldn’t bother downloading as it seems like they can’t get their stuff fixed.

Can’t see the clues

I can’t play the game because I can’t see certain numbers. The number clues are too small and pale. The font toggle only changes the letter size. It would really help if we could zoom in or if the numbers were larger or darker.

Maybe you have a filter to skip 5 star reviews. That’s why I chafe my rating temporarily. You may see now. Bad developers

It’s fun to play obviously. But they barely give you lives and when you lose all your lives it takes too long to get them back. Trying to force you to spend money. And if you fail a level they don’t replace the letters they gave you to start it out. So after your forever wait period, you then get no help and they are super vague on the topic of said level. Very poorly made. Going to hop over to a different creator, maybe they got it right.

Fun game, but…

I play this at work or home when I’m bored so I’m on level 1,500, which I understand is a large number, but I know there are more than 1,500 quotes this game could come up with. I’ve gotten quite a few repeat phrases, which seems silly considering I can create a new sentence right now. Fun game, but I’d like to not have repeated puzzles.

Fun and challenging with one critique

I love puzzles. I have a few games I rotate through with Cryptogram being in the top 3. I only wish that they wouldn’t use some of the problematic quotes and be a little more equitable. Maybe include folks with more diverse quotes and less from Christopher Columbus or Mother Teresa.

Most games of this type upon the third mistake, you can watch an ad to get another chance. Not this one. While there are no ads during the game if you make a third mistake, you have to buy your additional chance for two dollars.

November Daily is bugged

It doesn’t show I’ve completed them. I have 27/30 done, but I don’t know which ones. Only the first two days are marked, but I can’t attempt day 1. It always starts at Nov 2 if I try to select Nov 1

Fun, except when you fail

When failing at a level, the entire board is cleared, not even letters that you would start with are there. This makes it nearly impossible to complete the level, especially when you run out of hearts (gaining more requires waiting 30 minutes to refill or to purchase coins in order to play again). Literally stuck on a level since I don’t have those beginning letters, making this game not enjoyable.
