I used to love this game, but more ans more the loading is taking a long time. Also just tapping on a letter is taking longer. I don't have anything else running on my tablet to delay processing. The lag is almost to the point where I am thinking of uninstalling the game. I would bring it up to get a quick game in, but now there is nothing quick about it.

I am a puzzle buff. l love cryptos, but folks, I'll tell ya....they wear you thin with the damned ads. Before puzzles, after puzzles, and most infuriatingly, during puzzles. Not just once do they cut in on the puzzle, but several times. Look out if it's a long puzzle. I am a puzzle buff, not an ad buff.

Absolutely skip the roll option. No matter how many times you roll, they force you to use the same lame option. I don't want the patch option but no matter how many times I roll it lands on that stupid option. It is rigged. It makes the game so lame and I can understand the very low rating of this app now.

This game is enjoyable and challenging enough. However, it is fraught with problems. In-game purchases don't always go through. Also, CONSTANT ADS! In the middle of play, go for ad break, then game drops out! Not fun when in the middle of a contest, which by the way, make the game less about relaxation, and more about stressing over accidentally hitting the wrong key and thereby losing. It's fun for a while, then the ads are too much. Also, the quotes you're guessing come from anywhere and there are no clues. I played several rounds where the only letters provided to start you off were the only ones in that quote. You have to watch ads to get clues. Too much ad-time. I uninstalled it.

Not exactly offline. Needed internet connection to download new levels very often, and would be bombarded by ads even before I could start downloading said levels. The more you play, the more lagged it became. There's option to remove ads for a price and the devs made it very clear that it's either you pay or you can't play. So not exactly free either.

I am a over a thousand puzzles in, and they are beginning to become VERY religiously leaning. like, to an OFFENSIVE degree. I may keep going, but I may have to drop the app altogether if these keep flooding into the mix. edit: i have submitted multiple requests and support tickets in app with specific examples. this is a religious propaganda app. after a thousand they begin to FLOOD you with religious speakers and authors. every ticket is met with the same Ai sympathy and closed with no action

Update review: The one good way to play is to put it in airplane mode. This allows for uninterrupted gameplay. Unfortunately, the ads that run in the game take so long that by the time they finish, the game times out and restarts. Fix Those Ads !!! OMG! Every single time an ad runs, for any reason, the game quits and tries to reboot. I'm so frustrated. I love this game and would play every day, but when I have to wait for the reboot I just end up shutting off the game and go read a book.

I really like the concept and the core gameplay is fun. I'm a big fan of puzzle games, however I've knocked off 2 stars for the optimization and ad frequency. For a game that's just filling in letters, after a while it causes my phone to heat up and lag, which similar apps do not do. I'm all for supporting games financially and, luckily, you can play the game offline, but getting ads before, after and *during* a level feels insulting. The cutesy "ad break" mug image does Not Help.

Ads! lots of ads; before levels, multiple during, if you don't take the reward ad at the end still have forced intercessional ads. plus a constant banner ad at the bottom. The intent seems to be to force players to pay the fee for no ads. very disappointing as it could be a wonderful game.

This game is good. But there are 2 reasons why I cannot give you 5. 1. I paid money and I expected I will be totally ad free. But that was not. I still get a lot of ads on other places(eg revive) and thats really annoying. If I paid, that usually means I should be totally ad free. 2. That Tom Sawyer is horribly designed. It has 100 missions and the game gives us only 1 week to complete it. In second chapter, they become more difficult. Nobody can complete the story. It's negatively too huge

I love cryptograms. However, the ads are not properly placed in the game. They should be placed in between levels rather than in the middle of game play. It's very frustrating to figure out a letter, and as soon as you choose it for the first time, there's an ad break. There's a good chance to forget where you were in the puzzle whenever you return to the game.

I love this game and have paid for no ads. I have no problem supporting developers when I like the app and appreciate their work. Ads are frustrating, but not everything can just be given away! I recently had an issue where the game stopped loading on my phone. I didn't want to lose my progress so contacted support. They went above and beyond to get me a code I could input that restored my progress. I was really happy to hear that they are working on a cloud storage feature.

I love the game. Ad free is a must. I love the new story puzzles. I'm wondering if we will get the opportunity to finish them. Tom Sawyer is really good and more challenging. Can anyone really do 100 in 11 days. They are averaging 25 to 45 minutes each. 35 each is 58+ hours. 6 hours a day and can't complete any other puzzles. Not realistic. Discouraging to work on knowing you can't finish them
