It’s amazing that they made Cytus 2 so much better, but this one is awful. Worse music, horrible “story” design and conveyance, hideous visuals. Play C2 instead.

I’m addicted

I absolutely love this game. The story is there, but it’s ambiguous enough to not distract from the gameplay, the mechanics are simple and easy to digest, my only gripe is that I got it while it was still free on another device, but when I got a new phone it was 2 bucks and I couldn’t figure out how to restore my purchase or my save data, so i had to pay and start all over.

Great game with great DLC.

This game is amazing, the DLC is fantastic, and the music selection is just top-notch. [UPDATE] Issue has been fixed finally! All of the DLC works perfectly!!! 5 stars all around.

Purchased Chapters are locked again and won’t go away even though I repurchased

I bought several chapters and when I opened the game again today, all of them were locked behind paywalls again even though I already payed for them. I tried rebuying them and it says purchase successful, but the locked screen won’t go away. I tried updating, reinstalling, restarting my iPad, and nothing worked.

One of my timeless favorites

The music is amazing, it’s fun. I’ve played this game for a long time and redownload it every time I’m sick or have a day off. It’s so good. I love the aesthetics. When I had this game on android I do feel like it have some more albums that they took out on here. I still love it though. It’s easy to learn and it’s very satisfying to play. The loose lore is very fun for me. If you want standard lore download cytus 2 but this one will always be my top 💖

This game is literally so amazing ive been playing this since i was like 7 ever since my sister showed me and i havent switched to another game since . None of the songs ever get old and i still love playing it today and im about to turn 20 now😂 i love this game i even got the second one that they released its so fun and i hope that rayark releases new games similar to this😍 Definitely give this game a try💕

Worth paying for

If you love rhythm games in any way you could get them then this is a great one. This is my first IPad rhythm game. My top two favorite games over my 34 years of existence were DDR and Beat Saber so this satisfies the itch for something that is challenging and fun. I play this in the middle of my homework and study sessions to give me a few minutes of a satisfying break. I have serious sessions with the game when I have free time and it brings me such joy trying to find the right techniques to conquer some of these crazy levels. The music is fun.It features songs from Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and the U.S. There’s techno, pop, trance,drum n bass,and genres that I can’t describe but they are all really fun. Worth the two bucks of the game. I can’t wait to purchase the second installment after getting good at this one.

Really well made

Nostalgic at this point, but I contend that some of these songs are absurdly difficult for phone users. On tablets I can reliably use both of my hands, on these small phones it just feels downright unfair with how fast and how many notes there are for some songs especially in the latter chapters. I think there’s only a song or two I don’t have a passing grade on, but it is only because of pure panic and desperation to spam anything my mind can process.

Came back after almost 10 years

I loooooove this game. I was obsessed as a high schooler in 2015, but I could not remember the name of this game. I eventually did some deep dives and finally found it again. I originally wanted something like tap tap revenge when it was still around, but this game is leaps and bounds ahead. I can play this for hours if I had the time haha

Human artists create; AI can only imitate

I’ve seen some of the AI art Rayark intends to use for their games. It cannot compare to the beauty created by human artists. Shame on the decision maker who discarded humans like so many disposable scraps of paper just to save a few bucks with subpar imagery. Good luck making any money when people stop buying your awful-looking AI-generated games.

AI art strikes again…

I used to play this game all the time a couple of years ago. It was my favorite! But I eventually fell out of it. I’d redownload it recently because I wanted to play it again, but soon after I found out that the developers fired all their artists and are using AI art now :( Please, for the love of god, use real artists. AI can’t replicate the hard work and effort they put into each piece. I’m deleting the game and making a mental note not to play any other Rayark games until they use real artists again.

A good start for Rayark

I’ve been a Deemo fan for a long time, and between Deemo 2 content updates I’ve decided to check out the rest of Rayark’s back catalog. Cytus was first, and it has some flaws that were corrected in Deemo: specifically, there’s very little story, and the tapping doesn’t always feel connected to the music. Still, there are lots of songs, mostly of the dark instrumental variety I enjoy, at a low price.

Glitch??

I had this game back in the 2010’s and loved it. I just remembered this game and went out of my way to buy it for iOS and now the game doesn’t have any sound at all. I’ve turned my phone off and on again and even reinstalled the game but nothing happens. I tried going through app support and their website but there wasn’t anything to really help this problem. I hope something gets fixed soon, I want to play this game again!

Absolute Nostalgic Love

Ever since I was a kid, I enjoyed playing this game, but like… I never really had money to buy it. However now that I’m older. I was able to purchase it. It’s still as good as I remember, if not better! All of the music reminds me of the simpler times as a kid and the mechanics of the game are great. Definitely recommend!

Cytus Throughout the Years.

I’ve been playing Cytus for such a long time now, since 2013 - 2014, and I love this game. I’ve never grown bored of playing Cytus and to be honest for the price it’s extremely worth it. There are DLC, but the base game for $1.99 has a ton of songs. I really think this is one of the most well-worth rhythm games on the market. Just keep in mind that the Mobile version and the Switch version is different. I prefer the phone interface. But yeah!!! Highly recommend!!! One of my all time favorite rhythm games money can buy :) Big points for affordability!!!!
