I really liked this game at first. It was fun and challenging. Not impossible to progress and win matches. However, the further you progress, the more it starts to feel like a pay to win game. I have been stuck on arena 7 for days. you'll win 1 maybe every 2 or 3 matches if you're lucky, followed by a very long string of losses. therefore losing progress. it does not reward strategy. I'm not spending real world money on a mobile game. Especially one that treats it's player base like this.

I have been playing this game for quite a bit, and have gotten good progress on it. It's really fun and I haven't experienced a single ad! However, when the game updated, all my progress got deleted, and I could not get it back and was stuck in a high tier arena with lvl 1 basic towers

Fun until you move up a few arenas and then you get nothing but loss after loss. Your opponents are all 5-10 levels higher and have much higher level units then your own. if you are lucky to win a round, they just use the bonus loss to add a full row of spartus or shellbros and it's game over at that point. When you have no chance at winning any round it's just wasting time. Enjoyed it when matches were fair and now looking to uninstall when matchmaking is so unfair.

Whoever greenlit such a stupidly broken and unfair unit needs to seriously be reevaluated. It absolutely ruins the entire flow of matches. It would be fine if they could only grapple opponents like once, but being able to instantly break defense like that, REPEATEDLY, is such a slap in the face to basic game design. Same applies for the zap spell too- I should not be punished straight out the gate. When the vast majority of the opponents we play are clearly bots, they should not have such a broken spell that immediately negates the effort we put into the cards we picked by eradicating half our troops. Fix your game.

Fake multiplayer for what??

Let me start by saying that this is a really fun game. It has good art, a good gameplay loop, and is honestly more fun than clash royale and in a similar niche. However… Voodoo is actively lying to players and pretending the game is multiplayer. It’s not. It’s so easy to tell after less than an hour of playing. It is a decent game but would be so much better if it had any meaning to it. Why should I waste any money or time on a game where I only face bots, it’s not like my progression means anything anyway, it’s all just slop fed to you as if this game was truly as good as it could’ve been with true multiplayer.

Start by reading the Most Critical Reviews. Those are buried under the tons of fake reviews! Team is RUSSIAN team that doesn’t reply to support tickets and is here to scam as much and in as many ways possible. The game is broken since last update. My opponents suddenly become invincible even though they are 20 levels below and their troops are way below the level of my troops. Random troops on the opponent side become invincible and impossible to kill. That means no matter how good you are, no matter how much you invested in your troops and no matter how much $$$ you put into this game, you will lose badly to significantly weaker opponents. This impacts your progress in events, Draft Pass, Ranked Mode,… the whole game. What’s frustrating is that it can happen 4-5 times in a row. And what’s even more frustrating is that support is ignoring reports of this, they’re not fixing it and they are not responding to emails. Find a betterment game to spend your time.

Needs balancing after recent update

I’ve been playing every day for almost this whole year, but after a recent update I can’t play regular arenas at all. I’ve been at the final arena for months and had no problem, but now I win maybe 15% of the time. It also just takes incredibly, incredibly too long for things to upgrade after level 13. I really enjoy this game but the balancing issues may make me give it up.

Great game being ruined by pay to win as the recent updates are focused on extracting money from the player base such as the captain which can only be obtained via payment. I will replace this review with a 5 star one if they stop doing p2w but I highly doubt it most of these games continue to increase the number of paid additions until the player base has migrated to a different game that allows for more fair play. That said if they are strapped for cash it would be a far better approach to be more connected to the player base and offer visual additions, such as skins and the like, that can be paid for rather than compromising the very framework of the game. A good number of players already think this game is unfair for illogical reasons but this just gives their arguments actual fuel.

Unbalanced

The games fun but Bloodvine is completely overpowered. There is no reason 4 bloodvines should tank 30 Spartheus. The game is severely unbalanced with some of the troops. Agent B is another one, one minute the opponent has 4 of them the next round they had 2 upgrades and 2 x2’s. You can try to tank all of them but there’s no good counter to them, AT ALL. Severely loosing interest cause of this. The game also gives me the same 5 opponents, all of them abusing the overpowered characters
