Obsessed with this game!! I caved and paid for the ad free one cuz I knew I would play it a lot. However I do have two complaints, first one is that it's difficult to see some of the words (where each rooms are) as well as hard to see what the red X's are covering, sometimes I will need to look back and look at the other items but it's been covered in red X's and I can't see what's behind it and I needed that information for later clues. Also when are you going to bring out more special seasons?

This is a beautiful & fun logic game! I love it! The only frustrating thing I've found so far, there's no legend to explain some of the furniture. What's considered a throne, what's considered a statue (FYI, gargoyles are not considered statues, took me two days on one puzzle to figure that out by finally giving up and asking for hints to see where I just kept going wrong). I love being able to confirm a chosen position by gambling a hint, it says "already in place" and doesn't use up a hint.

Fun for about a minute. The clues are either overspecific to the point of being obvious or vague to the point of being unusable. The tutorial instructions are also not very helpful; I wish it was more clear what's considered a corner, why some things count as plants and some don't, etc. This game is fine if you want to feel like you're solving something without thinking too hard.

Blatant rip off of Murdoku, but even the "Extreme" difficulty puzzles have really basic clues and only take a few minutes to solve, followed by 30s-1min ads. The puzzles are ridiculously too easy, to the point where this isn't fun. Like, the easy puzzles take 10s to solve then a minute of ads. Absolute money grab for the ad remover, but without the puzzle quality to make it worth it. I want to like this, but I really, really don't.

Has the ability to be a good game with two major issues: 1. it asks you to rate after every puzzle. Including the first. Meaning after I've played the game for less than two minutes, it wants a rating, and will not stop bugging you until you do so. Well, you got your rating. 2. If a clue in a 10x10 grid says "right column" that means five different columns. If you mean the FAR RIGHT column, use that wording!!!

Poor execution (updated)

Difficulty isn’t accurate, only seems to have 6x6 puzzles. The extreme puzzles are “harder” because auto crossing was turned off automatically. Ads after every level. I prefer the original Murdoku. Update: I gave it another chance and found that I was wrong about the sizes, later seasons have more options. UI is good, but the puzzles are repetitive and focus on counting rows and columns for clues. Would like to see more variety and using the items in the level for clues not just counting. Great for someone who wants lots of simple puzzles but lacks true hard level difficulty.

Fun and simple

I played another game similar to this. This one is a little easier but I enjoy that there are significantly more levels to play. I also enjoy the lack of consistent ads. This game will not let you skip an ad at any point. It forces you to play the ad to a certain part then tries to force you to download the game it's trying to push on you. The only way to "around" this is to completely close out your game and if you have it in a gaming hub to close that as well before you can move on to your next level. While playing a puzzle, swiping from left of screen can take user back to menu but then nothing on the menu is clickable and app must be closed and reopened. Expected behavior: clicking back arrow is the only way to return to menu or when on menu, user can return to puzzle. Fun but lacks sense

I really enjoy this game. It’s fun figuring out where everyone is. My complaint is that I have found several levels with more than one solution. I come to the same answer multiple times, but the game says “that’s not right.” I have everyone in place that fits their description, I have the killer and the victim together in the right room, but it’s somehow wrong? Either make the levels have one solution only. Or make the levels allow for multiple paths to find the right solution. The current way lacks sense.

Some say there are not enough hints or solutions are inconclusive. I've never had that issue, now 100 puzzles in, so thats likely down to misunderstanding. I skipped to the extreme levels because the others are too easy. Ads are too many too. Main reason I'm giving a review is because the level The fountain after the party is NOT solvable. Kai needs to be below aurora, but Kai also needs to be beside a dove AND 2 levels east of Eleanor. These three cannot happen at once. Please resolve.

The extreme puzzle just remove the X’s but you can put them back using settings? Not any harder than the easy puzzles. Pretty boring follow the instructions and solve puzzle. No real thought process involved. Could be so much better as a logic problem if the clues were written better.

Overall I'm disappointed with the lack of difficulty and attention in the puzzles... Pros I really liked the interface and control, find it really easy to play and have a very smooth game play experience. Cons The puzzles here feel very mass produced and repetitive (i.e. focusing on quantity more than quality). I tried a hard 10 x 10 puzzle and took me less than 4mins. The extreme hard should expand on size of grid and reducing hints rather than taking crosses away.

Fun for a bit then gets repetitive

I’ve played about 100 games and unfortunately there is no variety so it gets boring. I understand that this by design for a logic puzzle like this so there isn’t much that can be done. However, there isn’t even any difference between the Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme levels - with the exception of removing the X’s in Extreme by default which is just silly. Logic puzzles are solved by logic and logic alone and what makes one puzzle more difficult than another is not by removing visual indicators that you use to solve, but by making deductions not immediate, i.e., having to play a little “what if” and then running into a contradiction which tells you that possibility is not correct - and then rinse and repeat until you solve it. All in all a good puzzle game and very good, simple interface, just got boring fast.

I saw an ad randomly on social media and as a fan of Clue, Sudoku, and Logic Grid puzzles I thought I’d try it. This game combines them all and what fun! Very well thought out and I love that they seem to be adding new content. I do wish it didn’t cost so much to go ad free.

Doesn't actually support family sharing.

We share our devices in our family. I've been playing this on my wife's phone and bought the ad free purchase because I like to support aps I enjoy. I then downloaded it via the family share app screen to my own phone and surprise, ads! I tried restoring purchases but it's tied to her account. Not cool to not transfer this type of purchase. Looking forward to the devs resolving this but this made it a 1 star experience.

The game is so much fun. I love it. My problem is I can’t see very well so I’m having a hard time with the room separation. The lines are two light for me. Maybe make them darker. I’ve been playing this game for almost two months and I dont know, it’s kind of boring. It’s the same characters for every single puzzle, the same places every puzzle, the way some of the questions are worded are weird, it almost screams AI generated or just pure laziness. Forced interstitial ads — automatic zero — they start right after the second level. I don't support greedy developers like this. I'm fine with reasonable ads to support developers, but there is ~ABSOLUTELY NO REASON~ to force ads on players. EVER. Mistakes

There was a mistake on the “Napkin on the counter”. The clues were incorrect and led me to use a hint. The entire row was marked with “x” leaving a suspect completely off the board. It was still marked as solved but was never n fact unsolvable.

Puzzles change

I enjoy this game but I have ran into this issues two times now. Based off clues two people need to be in the same row or column and after trying to figure it out I use a clue and the board changes to fit one of the people in. Like a table moves over a space. That seems a bit unfair as you have to watch ad’s to get hints. I can’t solve the puzzles without the items moved. This should be fixed.

I have been playing this game every night for at least 3 weeks straight, I enjoy the logical clues and crime aspect. My one request- can we please get sound? Fun, but …

The game becomes stale after a while. Some things that would help improve it: randomization of names from a larger database; skins to give more variety to the settings and characters; a storyline with the cases; optional sound effects.

overall is fine but i think the higher level puzzle lack clues. there are too many case with inconclusive result without using hint in online web version (not this app). a hint will provide logic and reasoning why it deduct. this game dont. its simply just fill you the answer.

Love the game BUT

I’m really enjoying this game BUT to gain hints, when I watch videos to earn 2 hints, the game freezes and I never get the 2 hints. The videos to earn hints worked fine in the beginning but have stopped working the last few days. Very annoying and a waste of time.

Too easy

Puzzles are very easy, even on the “extreme” difficulty setting. Every puzzle feels exactly the same. Gets very repetitive. There’s barely any thinking involved. It’s just reading comprehension.

More story?

This is a really cool and fun version of sudoku. It would be really great if there was more story to it though. It's a great idea with a lot of promise but it could be even better if there was somewhat more to the vignettes!

Like Sudoku but better!

Have played sudoku for years but it has gotten so boring. Saw a book about murder sudoku and ordered it and loved it but wanted it was an app. Found this online and wished I found it before I bought the book. Totally hooked on it!! Love the murder mystery aspect of it. Each game is different. Won’t get bored with this one!

Love it only one thing

I wish there a was a way to make the outline of the rooms darker because sometimes I don’t know where one room ends or begins but other than that I love it great game and passes the time well

The game is so much fun. I love it. My problem is I can’t see very well so I’m having a hard time with the room separation. The lines are two light for me. Maybe make them darker. Unable to play

Downloaded this game and upon opening it the only thing I can see is an add for Halloween content. Couldn’t play the game at all. Everything I clicked on was just asking me to pay for more stuff. Immediate delete.

Relaxing and Fun

Such a good fun concept. I know the game is still developing but just a few suggestions. Have more opportunities (without having to watch ads) to earn hints. Maybe have a huge daily challenge, once the month is completed you get lots of rewards. Also a weekly ranking challenge. Maybe even further down the road have a chance to join a team and benefit from each other but sending daily hints or coins. A lot of these games have mini games which are always fun. Incorporate coins to be able to buy avatars and frames maybe? This game has so much potential and I’m excited to see where this goes!

Easy level is hard

Shame about the ads

Fun game with wayyyyy too many ads. One easy puzzle takes less than a minute and once it’s done, you sit through an ad that is much longer than that.

Aggressive ads

The puzzles are good, but forcing an ad after every one, especially when the easy ones can be solved in twenty seconds is ridiculously predatory. This app is nothing but a cash grab. Find a game you can actually play if you want puzzles

Fun app but tech issues

The puzzles are fun. app needs work as it does not sync across platforms. Also, the daily puzzle does not open on an iPhone. The extreme puzzles are not as challenging as the daily puzzle. I would like to see some more challenging puzzles in the extreme section.
