Fun at first, but the levels quickly become pretty much impossible to clear (less than an hour playing, and you'll already have reached the point where you can't complete the level without spending real money or replaying 100+ times to gather resources), and you start to enter into ad-pocalypse. So many ads you either are forced to choose to watch to not instantly fail the level at that point, or ads that you can't skip at all showing up when picking literally any option given.

even though it can be repetitive it's still quite fun and you don't need to pay to advance sadly it doesn't seem to work anymore. lag became very bad and now it won't log in at all. I really enjoyed it, but I don't think it works anymore

it's ok. there are a ton of ads. Also, it is so hard to pass the 2nd "episode". Once you get far enough, they purposely cause you to lose. There's a scenario where you have to save the town or something and usually you don't have enough strength in your family, that you end up losing the last bit of popularity and get shoved out by the towns folk. There's just no way to pass it unless you have enough apples to convince the town to keep your family in the town. I'm gonna uninstall this app.

very fun game but after 3 lives are played out the ads start bombarding you every 3 or 4 choices you make and it becomes unbearable especially since the ads also force you to go to the play store Everytime and you have to return to even be able to close the ads which it might force send you again to the play store lol very annoying not worth the time so 2 star I'd definitely give it 5 stars if it wasn't ad driven after the first 3 lives are finished game is definitely fun to play but those ads..

4 stars because of the amount of ads, but ads over pushy Pay2Play for me. which it also has but it doesn't feel as badly unbalanced if you dont buy. also 4 stars for the inability to get out of an event windows without making a choice. +I enjoy the way it progresses storylines. +the different games and how they feed into one another keeps me engaged in the games/app longer. +the names are silly and the diversity is pleasant and present. could be better but its not all cishet white people.

Begins well and was enjoyable, right up until the end of the first playthrough. Then, the non-stop ads began. Went from zero to not even being able to move fi forward without several playing. They cannot be skipped, and saying you're not interested doesn't even change the ads you get. Seems to be an ad revenue farm sadly

I really dislike that a lot of games requires WiFi because the only times I want to play games is during traveling or at other places without internet connection. The app also gets your phone hot, drains your battery and takes up a numerous amount of storage. Although this game style isn't mine, I'd highly request improvements to be made for those who do enjoy it

Developers Have Abandoned Their Own Game

Family Go! was released on July 23, 2025, and it’s honestly disappointing to see the game in this state less than a year later.. WE WERE ALMOST TO ONE FULL YEAR! I used to genuinely enjoy this game, playing it DAILY, but after this latest update last week it’s become nearly impossible to play. For over a week now, the game has been plagued with constant lagging, freezing, force closing, and “No Network Connection” errors, even when connected to strong WiFi or 5G. This isn’t an isolated issue. Thousands of players have been posting screenshots, videos, and complaints in the official Facebook community describing the exact same problems. What’s even more disappointing than the broken update is the developers’ response, or lack of one. Your own community has been flooded with reports, yet there’s been absolutely ZERO meaningful communication and no timely fix. Releasing an update is only part of the job. Maintaining it, monitoring it, and communicating with your players when something goes wrong is just as important. Many of us have invested months into this game, and some players have spent REAL money supporting it. Seeing the game left in this state for a week while players continue reporting the same issues sends the message that player experience isn’t being treated with the urgency it deserves. At this point, I don’t care about new events or flashy updates. I just want a game that actually works. IF and WHEN this is finally fixed, I hope the developers understand that a generic apology and a handful of in game rewards won’t erase the frustration of losing access to gameplay, events, progress, and features for so long. Do better. Your players deserve better.

Game was really fun and engaging to start with. However, it suffers from insane stability issues. Constantly buffering and needing to reload it. Loses connection almost constantly, has made me seriously consider uninstalling it. Difficulty, also gets a bit ridiculous, with the need to spend and get the special apples just to complete a chapter or event.

It was fun at first but then was flooded with ads after nearly every action/event. The merge game lagged so badly it was fully unplayable. There is also very little actual decision making (your first family member is locked into a random job unless you're lucky enough to get a card letting you swap to another you don't get to choose). Wouldn't be as frustrating without the constant ads and the events happening every 2 seconds so I can't even pause to look at the family's stats most of the time.

For the past 4-5 days the game has been PAINFULLY slow. You can’t do ANYTHING without it lagging giving you a cat with a loading symbol above its head and even crashing the game. I can’t open a chest or click to get my apples without it buffering. At this point the whole sin city event is completely ruined because I can’t even play it! This needs to get fixed ASAP and the sin city event should either be extended or re-run to make up for this multi day inconvenience. I’m about ready to cut my losses for every penny I’ve spent into this game and just delete it.

Might be AI slop, but still a sort of fun game. biggest issue i have is that during the game at ANY point, the bank pops up and says the family doesnt have funds after having over 5mil forces a loan and then doesnt explain WHY all that money was taken away. every scenario it happens. also the genders are switched. whenever its a girl all the summaries say " he " and opposite for boys. would be nice to also be able to customize characters, being able to leave jobs by choice or sell property.
