- Necron x · v1.2.3
Incredibly strong beginning, great middle, absolutely falls apart at the end and I was looking forward to it being over
- D31taF0rc3 · v1.2.3
the best no question
- Luke Pence · v1.2.3
Stuck just starting the game, waste of money
- Orlando Gonzalez · v1.2.3
There is a certain point in the game where everything gets really annoying with the status effect inflictions, but not just that, the difficulty increases suddenly at some points. some gimmick fights are ridiculous. Better than ffpr3 but still kinda annoying.
- Isael Toribio · v1.2.3
This game made a HUUUUGE leap in quality compared to the previous ones. The characters have all depth, the story is vast (I took 23h) and not generic at all, the difficulty is perfect. Some things in the story are not that good (SPOLIER ALERT): my actions seem meaningless because the enemy still gets everything even though I beat them. Also one quote fits very well "everyone throw their lives too quickly". But nothing I would take away a star.
- Akbar · v1.2.2
I did a play test of the game and you get a black blank screen. You hear the music but don't see the game. This has been the case for all 6 Pixel Remaster games.
- Jeffrey Kosse
Great mobile port for a remastered classic.
- Michael D'Ascheberg · v1.2.2
Unplayable after recent update. Since their most recent update, the Pixel Remaster game crashes as soon as I complete the resting and ready to begin the game with Kain leaving the Castle. This is the second of the two Pixel Remaster games that is unplayable for me. Having serious doubts about buying any more of their games.
- Dave Solarz · v1.2.2
aspect ratio don't fit my Motorola Razr 2024
- Michael Speakman · v1.2.1
It won't show anything I only hear the music and when it does it freezes 😭😭🤬
- Gusso Lamar
They have boosters now.
- Odyssey · v1.1.1
Love the game but I wish there was an option to change the font size in the game. The game is gorgeous but I am constantly squinting while reading the text, there is a lot of empty space/ or unused area on screen so I do not see why they do not implement this option.
- djjay7777 · v1.1.1
Great remaster for the original Final Fantasy IV. While it doesn't have the bonus content from the GBA era and beyond, it does well in perfecting the original JRPG experience and adapting it to a mobile device.
- kaonohiokala09 · v1.1.0
Just not a very good game. Some issues with janky controls, but mostly this game is just tedious and boring. It was seminal in the genre but has aged very, very, very poorly. Not worth the money. Get FFVI instead, it is better in every single way.
- Benjamin Morgan · v1.1.0
This is the one that I played the most growing up. This was really the only one I knew. Growin up in Canada, we only had 1, 4 and 6, and I never had the opportunity to play 6. I owned 1, but I was really young when we got it and I wasn't interested in the slow pace of the game. 4 really changed that and it is the most nostalgic for me. This Pixel Remaster is perfect at recapturing the magic I felt playing through this for the first time!!!!
- Jeff Pearson · v1.1.0
I have played the SNES, ROM, and the 3-D remake. I am not so much a fan of this game when compared to FF6. The Pixel Remaster does not have the extra content in the 3-D version or any new content. I did enjoy playing this game and if you like Nobuo's music or Yoshitaka's art, then playing FF 4/5/6 is a must. Is it worth it? I think people today could just as much enjoy this game and something more recent. The story and characters have held up well over the years.
- Mark Rodriguez · v1.1.0
Always a good time for me & this series of games but honestly I think ff5 & ff6 are the best ones. Ff4 is good but I it can't hold a candle when

This is an incredible remaster, the graphics are just lovely and faithful to it's original, animations are very smooth as well. This was the first Final Fantasy that I played and it holds a special place in my heart. Music, I love that its remastered and it feels more authentic for a fantasy adventure, although I'm stubborn, I still love the original soundtrack and would love for that to be patched in as an update as well as an option. Biggest concern is the text, please make that bigger...
- Volt Joltex · v1.0.1
Ever since Square Enix did these new pixel remasters they've screwed over their customers. Old versions are removed from the playstore. You have to be online to play a game that has no online content, all 5 of the ff games. I hope they lose money for this. I'm glad I can review, to say this. Cause I was furious when I found out what Square Enix had done. If they read this. Good. Fix your stuff! Change it back! And drop this dumb need to be online stuff. Taking all that time to load a game. Dumb
- Yoda The · v1.0.2
How is it possible that a game made for play with a controller has no controller support? I specifically bought a controller to play this and I can't use it. Getting real tired of trying to relive the nostalgia of these games and am disappointed every time. This is why people choose to play on emulators instead.
- Fallersaur · v1.0.2
Went from 5 minutes to 10 minutes to load main menu. Why is this the only final fantasy pixle remaster that takes soooooooo long to load???
- Matthew Hunter · v1.0.2
Loved it. Best version of the game imo 😁
- Kristian (QuirkyTurtle8) · v1.0.2
It's okay if you have service if you don't hook your phone up to your computer go into the actual files going to the text file and changed the text to false instead of true and then you can play it offline the fact that you have to do this roundabout way so they can license check you and then double charge you and steal more money from you is b*******
- M B · v1.0.2
The nostalgia is nice, but having a lot of trouble with the game freezing up after 4 or 5 minutes. I have to keep turning my phone off and back on. Uninstalled app and tried again, but it hasn't helped. I've spent all day doing everything recommended to fix it, but to no avail. So I've uninstalled it and I'm out almost 20 bucks. What a waste of time and money!
- Mike Parrigin · v1.0.2
Fix the damn fonts!
- Juan Anaya · v1.0.2
Cannot play Spotify nor Audible in the background. Anytime you leave the app, it completely resets.
- Cory Terhune · v1.0.2
no keyboard support doesnt tell you that. Some of us dont have controllers, and not all controllers will work from I read
- machinistl16
Absurdly easy. I remember the bosses being far more challenging in previous ports/remasters. Couldn't remain interested long enough to even become a paladin, despite being initially excited to replay this game in its classic form. Wish there was a difficulty setting like there is in the 3D remake.
- Jeff Seeley
Notice: This was originally released as Final Fantasy II for its orginal North American release. I'm giving this 4 stars because while gameplay and soundtrack was really good, it lacked support for gamepads like a Razer Kishi. I wish that an update for this game would support gamepads like the Razer Kishi. Began to like this game ever since I played almost every port of FFIV.
- Freddie Rodriguez · v1.0.2
My first JRPG. Turn your notifications and calls off!
- Jack Rippr · v1.0.2
One of the best Final Fantasy Games of all time.
- Promathia Prishe · v1.0.2
Great Port good controls worth the price
- Jose Alarcon · v1.0.2
Probably the version they should of used to begin with. to be honest i think this is just milking it.
- Jonathan Clyburn
I can't seem to change the order of my characters. I like to be able to put my wizards in the back row and my melee fighter in the front row. All I can do is change rows.
- Matthew Bach · v1.0.2
No controller support.
- Dennis Nelson · v1.0.2
Uhm? Really? First impressions. Controls. Not great. A bit frustrating. You learn to adapt. Fine. Which version is this based off? Town of barons grass field, which contained items, is completely inaccessible? Why? Uhhhggg I guess I will have to get my SNES to play this... for authenticity.
- Joshua Bowers · v1.0.2
cannot unlock master of iv achievement. such a bummer
- Janssen de Guzman · v1.0.2
The controller support is terrible and that's why the 3 Stars that's why I give it that score. Give it controller support and I'll give it 5 stars. PRODUCERS OF THIS REMAKE GIVE IT CONTROLLER SUPPORT.....ITS A GOOD IDEA. Whoever thought controller support was a bad idea needs to get their heads examined. Read the reviews and alot of others would agree with me. Ok I'm giving this a 2 star cause I can't go into the wall to grab treasures, how am I supposed to get through the game if can't do that
- Shane Benford · v1.0.2
This could have been one of my favorite versions of FFIV, but the lack of controller support leaves it a frustrating experience. You control the game by using a digital control pad which isn't great and there is also an option to tap to move around a spot that is visible on the map. That works alright until you want to find the secret spots hidden in walls it doesn't acknowledge they exist even if you already know where they are and a few of those you will be required to find to finish the game
- Jose Cantu · v1.0.1
No controller support. Everything else is good, add support for controllers and you'll get the missing stars.
- Claire Addams · v1.0.1
Lack of controller support is a huge letdown for me. Wish I'd read more about it before purchasing.
- Aaron M. Bond · v1.0.1
refund please
- Steven Osborne
The best final fantasy with good mobile design
- Jonathan Rodgers · v1.0.1
Goat game
- Brice Mathews · v1.0.1
Great game only down side is that it's not the complete game no party change, lunarian slumber dungeon, final weapons for every character
- james schroeder · v1.0.1
Ver y good music.
- Jim Rivera · v1.0.1
Pls fix cloud save. Cant upload progress
- Brad Vlad · v1.0.1
Great remake. Somewhat easier than the SNES version. As for the pink tails, I was able to find 5 tails in 70 flan princess battles but after leveling up so much while doing so, I no longer needed the armor that's rewarded for the tails. Lol.
