A simple app that does the job of tracking your game collection, hit points and chosen game combination, but little else. 1) There is no tutorial. If you're looking for a how-to, hit up YouTube. 2) The app lacks any audio whatsoever. There's nothing to set the mood. 3) The app asks for more money to display TEXT. 4) No ability to save your profile. You delete the app, ALL of your data is gone. I would have gladly paid a bit extra for all of the above. This shouldn't be a paid app.

It's an okay app. neat achievements, and the game tracker works. I guess the lore would be cool, I just don't want to pay extra for it. Personally, I don't think it adds much to my games. you can track HP and victims, but you still need to track those on your board, so instead of streamlining, it adds another thing to track...

The offered features for a paid app are kind of disappointing. And a lot of the extra features cost extra. It is hard to justify this if you compare this to fan apps for Arkham horror lcg that add voice overs for free.

not required or benefits gameplay. the app itself is okay but leaves alot to desire. the app is a collection tracker, game play tracker & an achievement system. it helps identify combos of sets you haven't played (girl, killer & map) but that is the best thing of the app. the gameplay tracker is just the health (killer & girl) & amount of victims (total, killed & saved) all info you already keep track of. lore & scenarios have been advertised but I haven't been able to access. no idea why.

Played for several years and had ups and downs... Hans had this odd way of effecting my Dice... I lost so often and with so many Girls that I lost track... but now never again! Now I can see just how many times I lost, and which Girls I am worse with. Great App, and maybe the most suitable but useful to me is the random Game, no longer need agonising over which map, or girl, now I can just focus on not losing.

Really enjoy this app! My only real qualm is that I wish you were able to track more about your games and get data on them (so you can see things like good action card combos, what dark powers and finales you have trouble against, etc). The app is pretty cool. The only issue I have with it is that there is no background music... I tend to forget about the app after a few turns because I'm more focused on the board game itself. I always turn on my own background noise to make the experience more immersive!

The entitlement in some of these reviews is remarkable. Yes, the developers deserve to get paid for their work despite printed versions being available, and it's ridiculous to think otherwise. The app doesn't just replicate printed materials, it allows you to track your progress and keep a recorded history of play sessions. It also chooses random games for you and includes a round tracker. Great work, VRG!!

The benchmark for board game support apps. If you're a gamer (board, video or both) then I'm sure you geek out on stats/achievements. This app nails it all, with so much more. Slick visuals, clever contextual design changes based on data entered or choices made - and an immersive experience on its own. Rereading historical stats is visual and fun! Best of all, it encourages new ways to set up, enjoy (and probably die) playing Final Girl. In my opinion, it's a 'bloody' essential companion.

Great experience overall, however, there's a change I think is really necessary. The option for the time to keep on going even when the app is in the background. I want to listen to some horror movie soundtracks but if I leave the app it pauses, there should be an option to leave the time running. I know now of the option the developer told me about, but this way the screen turns off when using the app. There should be a separate option just to make time pause or not pause when not in the app. I

Pros: love the configurable randomiser for location/killer/girl. Great to track stats and achievements. Optional puchase for lore, scenarios and gruesome deaths. Highly recommend this app. I hope the boiler room from maple lane will get digitalised one day. Cons: actual books lost their added value a bit.

Works really well, and has a ton of excellent quality of life features. I'm a huge fan of the assistant letting me choose a set-up that's new to me without having to revisit my play history to find a new combination. Optional paid add-ons for gruesome deaths and scenarios are reasonably priced and a great way to get content I didn't really feel the need to shell out for physically. I really couldn't ask for a better official companion app!

I love using this app, it incorporates all my content, and allows for regular play, randomization and scenarios. Here's a couple of possible improvements: 1) Ability to assign 4 ratings: Final Girl, Killer, Location and Feature, so we can better track how much we like each, not just win/loss. 2) Some way to link multiple devices, I run the game on my tablet, but want to check the stats on my phone, the purchases are linked. 3) Having to pay twice for Bonus Features is a bit annoying too.
