I used to give this 5⭐ but I had to go down 1 because of them being cash cows!! this is the only game I play every day, I have a team, and am 100% loyal too but it doesn't matter because they have forgotten about its players and all they care about is making us pay for stuff. If you look at those photos above at what the game is, well that is false advertisement I'm 20000 games in and never played any game like they portrayed only in the last photo is it accurate.

there is nothing wrong with this game, just the site that its downloaded from. the 1 star is because its on google. i downloaded this very same game off a different free game site and it runs perfect. no adds, no having to use the keyboard to control the moving in the mini games and it doesn't load the site i downloaded from every time i go to play it. point being, anything on google sucks because they force way to many adds!

What you see is not what you get. The cute running around fishing game is a mini-game inside the real game which is a LAME matching game. All of the games are like that. They shove a story line down our throats claiming, no ads and this is the real deal. But at the core of it all, they are a pointless matching game. To earn more credits or game credits to move the story we have to play the match game.

Don't waste your time or money. This game will be fun in the beginning but then you'll hit a level you can't pass without paying REAL money. I luv the game BUT 9 diamonds for 5 extra lives is a bit much. I think it should be 3 for 5 and 5 for anything after that. I also think that you should reward diamonds for feeding other players fish. Shameless Greed

I’m on level 7722, so have been playing this game for a few years. It was my absolute favorite game for a long while, but in the last year or two, the game and the side “adventure” have both slid downward to the point where it’s frustrating to play. Games used to be fair and enjoyable, and you could earn helps easier. Now some levels are impossible to win without using gems, with days of playing one game to earn enough gems to get some extra moves….or spend money which is what they really want! It’s now harder to earn gems and lightning bolt energy. This new huge forest you have to get through in adventure game where you have to use lightning bolts to buy torches to get through with lots of pitfalls is HORRIBLE….wasting so much lightning bolt energy and my time. It’s a turnoff! It’s such a disappointment for a game that was amazing!

Money pit

I started this game back in 2018 and now the levels are so difficult and all they want you to do is make in-app purchases in order to pass the level or in order to complete even the weekly new tasks and things. All they want now is money. I literally get stuck playing ONE level for hours three days in a row. They will not make changes to help with enjoyment of the game. All I feel now, most of the time, is frustration. They want money and they’re just making it harder and harder as the years go on and want you to make an app purchase. What started out as fun is now a source of my stress and because I put so much into the game I just want them to hear me and make it more enjoyable, but instead, I wanna quit. It’s sad.

But over those eight years, I have watched the game slowly decline. Recently, however, that decline has accelerated dramatically. Adding 10 extra diamond cards to the collection and removing the three-day Deep Dive and Snail Race events are just two examples. For players who truly enjoy the game and play it well, it has become almost impossible to keep up. We are the players who create the competition, the excitement, and the motivation for others. It is now almost impossible to complete team chests, and I won't even mention the team tournaments anymore. Soon, the only players left will be those who spend real money every month. But even they will eventually leave, because the competitive players who kept the game alive and made it exciting are the ones who are disappearing. What will remain then? Avatar frames and badges will effectively become paid content. Tournaments and mini-games will either be impossible to complete or simply not worth playing. If there is no meaningful goal, what is the point of spending several days tapping the screen just to beat a single level? There are many match-3 games that are much more enjoyable and rewarding. Even in our usually very active team, we've seen a clear decline over the past week. A couple of players have already quit, while the others are staying mainly because of friendships we've built over many years. But sooner or later, they will leave too. I'm waiting to see what July brings, hoping that something changes. If nothing does, I will delete the game without any regret. I understand that developers need to make money. But in my opinion, they have become greedy, and their focus has shifted away from making the game enjoyable for loyal players.

The developers are just jerks

You use helps to start a game and they place them in a corner where they do no good. The levels can take days or more to pass if you don’t want to make a purchase. Some side games are a waste of time because the rewards aren’t worth it. Not only is it that they are so paltry but because as I said above-you win a help to start and it is placed where it doesn’t help. Get a super lightening- they’ll make sure you can’t win after maybe one level and lose it. Blank the developer.

I am convinced that this game is designed for financial manipulation; very often, the game itself won’t let you pass a level until you purchase diamonds, or—even when a level is easy—a mandatory feature appears that requires 18 diamonds to continue, which creates pressure to buy diamonds so you don’t lose your progress. If you decline the offer, you lose your progress—but that’s not all. You try to complete the level again and again, but the same forced diamond purchase prompt appears with every subsequent attempt until you’ve used up all your lives. So you have to make a purchase, and then the game’s algorithms help you clear the levels; until then, the game itself will hinder your progress.

I really liked this game and ended up spending $ over time. There was a glitch in the game, I lost a lot because of it. When the problem was brought to their attention they acknowledged that it’s a “known” issue but then stopped responding to chat messages. I’m deleting it. Better for my wallet. If u like gambling u might like. Take a chance like I've been doing usually around 90% chance i open game and within 5 mins ill be kicked off. Look in team chat, booted. If i not booted then for sure i start typing message, definitely booted. Check standings, booted for sure. I've had better luck while playing levels my boot % goes down to about a 50/50 chance i don't get booted. Ridiculous. Contact support and u might get a reward for inconvenience of about 5 items and a message just keep going we are aware and fixing problem. Wooohooo. Problem still there now hasn't changed.

Frustrating AF

Too many glitches

This game used to be enjoyable and fun to play. The last 6 months with the “new updates” has been torture. Why? It’s because easy level are not easy…all levels have become near impossible to beat unless you have boosters/diamonds. The algorithm they changed to this game due to “new updates” have allowed you to drain everything you have so you have no choice to pay. Pay to play? A free game? Sounds sad doesn’t it? A lot of loyal players for years are leaving and fast due to no change and support is non existent. They will close out your conversation and say “ oh we have to many requests so we can’t help right now but put in another message request and we will get back to you.” Yes, they have don’t this to me for about 4 months now and about 6 human agents all do the same thing. This is supposed to be a relaxing enjoyable game. It has become frustration and irritating to where they don’t care unless you pay $$$. Disappointmented

I’ve been playing this game for years. I loved that it didn’t have ads and everything was achievable without spending real money. The in-app purchases were all fairly affordable if you chose to use them. However, the most recent challenges require you to make a real money purchase to progress. Once this was a good game - not so much now

At some point the economics in this game went off the rails. Even the basic tasks are now out of reach expensive because the flow of resources is a trickle. Either by design or as a result of updates, you will find yourself in a position where you will need to spend too much money or spend incredibly way too much time to gather resources. If you do not care about making progress and a contributing team member then you may still find some value in the game. If not, you will not be able to complete the necessary steps for an event without spending money.

For 3 weeks I get the run around It’s always due to high call volume we are sorry we couldn’t help if problem still persists start a new ticket. Expensive

These levels are getting crazy difficult, even supposedly easy ones. Most can only be won if you have extra moves available. It can take days of playing to get enough extra gems to get extra moves. It makes playing less enjoyable.

The game is great except for the expeditions. They are just too expensive. At the beginning you can clear a lot of but as the game goes on you can clear 1 maybe 2 obstacles and they wait. I don’t know how Apple allows this game in the App Store. It is so transparently rigged against you and designed to take your money that there’s not even the illusion of fun. It just reeks of fraud—it’s a tax on people who can’t do basic math. It is brutally obvious that Playrix has algorithms running behind the scenes, setting you up for success when they want you to get hooked, and setting you up for failure when they want you to pay them money. Fun until your hooked and money is necessary

I'm ready to call it quits because it costs too much money. They make it impossible to win without items and while I get their a business, I have bills to pay. I'll take screenshots, send them in and they always have some lame excuse why a level doesn't work. For example, you use Bombs which you opted to buy and use. It's like you're penalized by using them because if you succeed too fast, the items which should appear, don't until you run out of move ]S and have to extend the session for 9 diamonds..which cost you money. The game is pretty, and designed for you to spend money. I don't mind spending the money if the playing field were level. Sometimes it's just a blatant rip off and they know that. Player beware. Spark is Lost

Chaotic & not the original game anymore

The ads for Fishdom used to be about helping a fish out of trouble. It was a bait & switch bc that was just “mini games” you got to do every so often. Now they are removed entirely and there are so many other games within the game it is exhausting. What’s with collecting cards? And the “adventures”? They’re the worst. Save your development dollars to make new levels instead of constant competitions that just recycle every few days. And stop trying to make it like candy crush. The new in-game boosters aren’t as helpful as the old ones and just copy candy crush. If I want to play candy crush, I will. I wanted to play Fishdom. Also stop wasting my timed boosters with fanfare about what I won and making me open cards. One second max and let me play the game. Also, if super lightening no longer doubles the hit on everything, it’s not super. It used to double the effect of lightening on obstacles but now it only does that for some. Other things (like oil canisters) it will only hit once and spill them but no longer allow the second hit to clear the oil. There are several items like that and it’s cheap and inconsistent. Super lightening used to be worth spending diamonds on and now it’s no big deal.

I’ve played this game daily for 6 years. The developers have recently ruined it. I like a challenge but they have made the levels impossible to complete without spending a lot of money. You have so many moves to complete each level which is a puzzle. They keep reducing the number of moves. It’s no longer enjoyable. Not a fair game, used to be fun but sucks now

This game use to be fun and enjoyable. More recently it is impossible to pass levels and certain players are given unfair advantages by receiving test boosters and perks which makes the game and competition uneven. They also have timed boosters which require you to have to play for 2-3 hours straight or you lose the benefits of those rewards. That’s a ridiculous feature. Also they started a card collection which could be fun but the drop rate for the special gold cards is unfair and it’s impossible to get them most times. They also want you to spend money and have increased prices. I stopped playing. Even writing this review several weeks after I quit playing I’m getting frustrated and angry again.

Playing about 6 years

I used to love this game. It was relaxing. Now it’s nearly impossible unless you’re spending a large amount of money. Sad. They changed boosters. And made “easy” levels super hard. So you never know when to use boosters. Things don’t get better i’m gonna have to find a new game.

This Game Sucks, but no ads

I am on level 11,779, to give you an idea of how long I have been playing this game, and honestly, I very rarely enjoy it. You’ll breeze through 5-10 levels and then get stuck on one for DAYS. EVEN using max power ups and 30 gems (hard to earn, easy to buy). There’s no ads which is a huge plus and keeps me coming back whenever I need something mindless to do with my fingers. Honestly, I’m not even writing this review for potential customers. I’m writing it hoping the game devs read it and improve their game for existing users.

Help and Support never solved the issues

The game is fun , always new updates , events , but when it comes to issues , automated bot picked up and never connect to real agent , been waiting for days. 4 events are missing from my game , cannot progress much with no boosters, and support not helpful at all. And when the conversation open with support , there is no option to close it and open new one. Hanging there forever with no help

Used to be fun

They’ve changed it so that now I’m lucky to get through a game without having to use the diamonds. Even then, I have to use diamonds a second time, costing even more diamonds. It’s not fun anymore. So I don’t play unless I have over 20 diamonds, and even then, I’m nervous that I’m gonna get through the game. Why am I playing if I’m nervous? I have so much Gold that I can’t do anything except buy more fish for a clogged aquarium. What’s the point? It’s not fun.

Love this game! Love the actual game. I’ve been playing for a few years. But I really hate the new quests. I enjoyed finding all the little prizes that gave you extra points.There are hardly any now, and you can destroy maybe two things in your path and you run out of points. I don’t enjoy it at all anymore and I’m really bummed because this was my favorite game. And please get rid of the cards! I do not need to collect cards.

What the heck?

I have been playing this game for years and it’s my relax time. I’ve spent a lot of money through the years also. They have made the games impossible to win without spending money. Totally boring. I like to believe that if I concentrate and watch what I’m doing I can beat the level but lately the only way you can win a level is if you have nine extra diamonds which cost $2. They have taken the challenge out of the game in a money grab.
