Just wanted to update my prior rating. The game feels smooth again. I was pleased enough that I made an in-app purchase for gems. Greedybit… maybe just maybe… improving the game experience through bug fixes, latency upgrades could lead to more profits, just sayin that the easily regurgitated skins, cosmetics are not the only way to earn revenue and a loyal user base will yield dividends in the long term.

Edit: they've made ads more valuable. But something should still be done about these nasty ads. Probably Apple should regulate them. Or maybe Mamdani? Legal gambling is the main one but they are all terrible. Game is fun, if you don't mind the end of game beats at the end of most of the games. If you don't watch ads, it's pretty good. Ads are intolerable and go on forever forcing you out of the app or getting stuck and having to reset the game and lose ad promotion. All ads sucj. But here they ruin a good game. Make ads functionable and not traps. Ads as traps should be illegal

So thankfully the game isn't pay to win but I'm realizing if you don't spend money then it's damn near impossible to level up and buy new powerups. I love the game and all because it's super fun but it's very lack-luster when I run 50 races just to earn absolutely nothing. The coins and bolts either need to come in bigger numbers or they need to be given to you more frequently. I'm pretty much completely stuck at level 6 with the same powerups as when I first started DAYS ago. I've been doing challanges for hours just for them to only be progressing the battle pass an not my runner. So I'm going to go to FR3 until the progression becomes more reasonable.

The game is just like the rest of them, it’s fun for a couple rounds, or only fun with fiends or family. But you wanna play by your self??? Worst mistake ever, everyone knows every Micro, and lil tip or remembers the map. It’s not fun why does every game have to be soo competitive? It’s called fun run? Let it be casual, sooo many abilities, then character abilities, then want us to remember every map and shortcut? Like what happened to causal play? Nobody wants to sweat and think 20 times harder just to win games. Then some characters are faster and just better? The last fun run that was good was Fun run 1. I’m not sure what happened to the company.

EDIT: also the amount of whatever the points are to get different abilities is a bit too expensive… I’m level 10 and I’ve only been able to afford the lighting ability, 900 points is just too high. The game was fun at first, but then my girlfriend and I kept running into people lower levels than us who clearly payed for advantages which shouldn’t be in this game. Honestly it just go too sweaty, earning stuff takes forever if you are not getting first place every single race and the whole minus point if you get last feels unnecessary. Give me zero points if I get last place but minus is not it. Some of the abilities feel inconsistent too, sometimes they work and other times they don’t when you use the lightning storm or the anvil. All in all if you are sweaty enough or micro transactions are not an issue for you this game is for you… but honestly I just wanted a fun phone game to play with my girlfriend… not some overly competitive game that punishes you if you’re not perfect at it.

I can’t express how truly horrible this game is. There’s no skill involved. You get punished for being the best. If you’re in first place you will not win, you’re rewarded for being in 4th place. There’s no skill involved at all it is a game of luck and BS. I can’t believe anybody enjoys this low IQ gameplay. It’s like temu Mario kart. Horrendous and skill-less

I know your game is fun and all but could you please remove some things that make people go too fast, it’s so unfair. And please REMOVE THE FLIP OFF FINGER its so offensive to other people, it even made me feel bad for sucking at this game. This feels more like “UNFUN Run” and I lately haven’t been getting any wins, plus I don’t even have that much gems or coins especially when I try to use saw shots, but I keep getting XP instead of other things 😫😫. maybe dirtybit games should make this be more like the 3rd one because right now…I’m not good enough to become an elite 😔 everyone has been playing rough and picking with me except my clan friends. I know I like fun run but this isn’t the fun run I know

Not fun has a lot of bugs constantly lags and has weirdos on the app. The app is not fair. It takes you a very long time to level up and you have to pay basically to level up with anything. It’s just a completely awful app overall 10 out of 10 do not recommend I would give it one star but I know they’ll delete my review.

I love this game but there are definitely some things that annoy me: 1) you could throw something at the same time as something is thrown at you but whatever is gonna kill you is going to be faster than what you pressed. That’s not cool. Like literally you can hit a shield at the same time that something’s coming at you and the thing coming at you will kill you even though you put a shield on at the same. Time. 2) on the season gifts, that you need the tokens for— yall put all of the good stuff for people who have a $15 runners pass. Basically this a pay to win game because of a $15 monthly subscription… which is a steep price for a game subscription. 3) the game lags way too much. Like it’s actually crazy. Please fix that. 4) stop putting animal experience points as a gift for the saw blades. Do you know how many animals I have thousands of XP for compared to their current level? It’s because I don’t have enough coins or gems to get them leveled up.. it’s so annoying when you see “RARE” on the saw blade just to get 160 XP? I mean thanks for adding onto the 1000’s of XP I already have…. Like what? Do better. Mariokart is way more famous than this company and their gold subscription is a third of what yall offer.. like this company is very weird. Charging people $15 for a laggy game what a shame.

The base game is fun but once you get to a certain point you can’t win you will get beat by some power you don’t have access to or crazy luck for the other player will come in to play it doesn’t feel like skill comes in to play at any point if you play against people who have a different character you have to pay for then you have already lost might as will quit because you aren’t going to win

Game is obviously fun sometimes but no one talks about how rigged it is to people who buy lots of stuff in the game. You go to throw something backwards and the game throws it forwards, doesn’t slide when you tell it to, purposefully misses stuff you aim at, you’ll clearly be in front of someone when crossing the finish line and it says you finished after them (even after checking replay), you’ll clearly throw something at someone and it goes straight through them without killing them or vice versa, it doesn’t touch you but it kills you (saw, grenades, electric shield etc) but besides all that that happens game can be fun. Just prepare to get mad over how rigged it is
