Designed to extract money out of you. the levels are going to get instantly hard 9-10 rounds in so you have to spend money to power up and get past it rinse and repeat 5-10 rounds after again. The RNG of the cards never works. The game purposely makes it hard to move to the level. Even when you are stronger and more powerful, you won't get the cards for the upgrades you want. I went 8 rounds and only got an upgrade card for my shooter only at the beginning and then no more upgrades for him

Fun and relaxing

This game is simple but great! It’s fun to watch your weapon selections play out, work together and do their thing. However, some of the guns could use an intelligence upgrade. The Disruption Drone, Laser and Tesla Coil has a bad habit of literally firing at nothing, or missing out on shots that can do the most damage. (Aiming at one target instead of the group of 20, for example.) Upgrading that would take away the only real point of frustration in the game. (UPDATE): Still waiting for the weapons intelligence upgrade. Some weapons literally shoot at nothing, making the gameplay EXTREMELY frustrating. You spend upgrade decisions to create powerful guns, only to seemingly have them manned by incompetent toddlers. THIS HAS TO BE FIXED! I downgraded my game rating to 3 stars because of weapons incompetence. Also, while all of the item collections may seem bountiful and cool, the stuff to collect are spread out over a dozen pages or more. Anytime I want to play, I end up spending the first 15 minutes going around multiple pages to search for and collect things. If it the collecting could be consolidated so I can just grab stuff and then start playing sooner, that would be more fun and efficient.

Very fun game if you are wicked patient. RNG in this game is a bit broken, you crush a level, replay and get crushed, in game resources are slow accumulation, and don't get you too far. It is designed to make you want to pull out your wallet, often for mediocre gains. seriously worth a download just to see how many micro transactions there are. It's definitely fun for grinders, or those with significant amounts of disposable income.

After playing it for a few months this was my experience. Fun and easy to level up in the beginning After about a month or so you either got to pay to level up to get stronger or watch 1000 ads. I really want to like this game, because the premise, art style and general gameplay should really click together well, but the grind is unbearable. You very, VERY clearly aren't intended to succeed without buying loot boxes, or watching so many ads that you spend more time doing that than actually playing the game. The greed is unreal, to the point they really don't even try to hide it. I can't in good faith recommend this game.

Horrible cards selection

I feel like the game recognizes when your doing good so it will purposely give you the absolute worse cards and weapons at first so you cant get what you want to actually be successful. Then when you watch a ad to get different cards it will give you 180 second add and still give you stuff you dont want. You will have to play the same level 20-30 times to finally get somewhat decent cards to beat the level.

Really enjoying the game — it’s fun, polished, and easy to keep coming back to. But the in-app purchases are ridiculously expensive. Manipulative practices

Beyond the usual with these types of games (using RNG and circumstance instead of skill) the game has what seems like purposeful glitches/crashes. Whenever i get a good setup going the game crashes at random times in the level. ONLY when i have 4 great towers. Its like it nows i have a high probability of beating the level and decides it wants me to stay longer so it crashes and looses my progress. Now it may be the turret combinations (beam, elec coil, flame wheel, aeroblast) but idk it seems to be any winning combination. Its so consistent i could get a video of it within 5 mins. Disgusting practice if this really is the case, wont be spending any more time on this game until an update addresses this

fun game but sadly ruined and it gets frustratingly repetitive after about day 2. like you have no control over the type of powerups you get and most of the time it gives you powerups for old weapons which pretty much leads to you playing over and over again until you get the right power ups . it shouldn't be this way and you should be able to equip 4 weapons and based on that you get powerups and that would be the better approach . never been fatigued of a game that I actually enjoy so quickly

$10/month or $50 lifetime to play the game at 2x speed (yes, anything cheaper locks you to 1x in a game that's mostly idle waiting until you get to choose upgrades or watch an ad for more upgrades), ad skip is also restricted to this same tier. Scam game

Was a Super fun game. 5*. But events cheat. Vanguard is super rigged. No one I know in the groups likes it because all they face is bots and paid players, with the devs doing that to try to get you to pay. I can confirm now that Vanguard actually cheats. I watched as the opponent only got 10-20 monster every wave and I got 50. 100% cheating the player. Report the game and devs for being a scam. Needs different events that do not cheat you. Remove Vanguard.

This game is pay to win at its finest even the updates are another chance to suck your money dry. To be anywhere near the top of the weekly leaderboard events you must spend about 50 dollars a week. If that’s your cup of tea then this game is for you. A lot of time is spent grinding if you don’t pay up. It is definitely a long road ahead if you don’t spend money. Pay to play BS

It is a fun game early on, then as you gain skill level it becomes what you think is random but it is designed to convince you to buy your upgrades. So play it for a few weeks, when it starts to slow done your upgrades just know that you are being manipulated and move on to the next game. It has potential but the ruin it with pay to play, but most of the do and that is the model for the foreseeable future, just like at these games as a buffet, try them and the leave to the next one.

Features I would like

I’ve been enjoying this game very much for the last few months. There are a few minor things that would be awesome if they are possible. 1) Slightly smarter targeting for the main gunner when targeting invulnerable enemies/ enemies through which bullets cannot penetrate. It would be nice if the gun would target enemies it could actually damage instead 2) If it were possible to have a toggle for the gunner to continue targeting the nearest enemy while you are actively moving them around on the bottom, that would come in handy as well 3) Having some way to play with/ interact with your friends (and having a friends list) would be sweet. Either playing a stage with them or being able to trade gear or something Thank you so much for your time and energy!

Grind fest

I’ve been playing this game for a while now and don’t get me wrong, it’s fun! But Jesus is it a grind. You get to the point where it takes so many days of grinding rewards and upgrades just to go up 1 stage. And the rng is absolutely terrible. You spend so much in game currency for chances to gain helpful bonuses, gear, and items and it almost never falls in the favor of the player. Frustrating cash grab I've played through this game twice under different accounts, at around Level 40/35 you just grind against undefeatable levels. Navigation is confusing, it wastes your time digging through screens to get rewards. Adverts are LONG! Upgrades are ruinously expensive. Guilds are poorly run and difficult to join. It's a nice concept, but unless you have VERY deep pockets or about five years of spare time, I'd give it a miss.

The game is fun at first, I give them that. It has a lot of potential even with all the wacky "praying to get a lucky card streak". However, my major letdown is the greeeeed they have for money. Yes, there is option to watch ads for extra content, however why everything is locked behind ads and all of them are so long. Like a minute or more each ad. You just waste 30min a day if you unlock all the content behind every ad. About the money, insane pricing. They're literally shooting for the stars.
