A Masterpiece I Never Wanted to End 🥰🌾
Gorogoa is one of the most unique and beautiful puzzle games I have ever played. From the very first moment, I was captivated by its hand-drawn artwork, creative mechanics, and the way every puzzle felt like a work of art. The game doesn't just challenge your mind—it tells a story through imagination, exploration, and discovery.
What I loved most was how every solution felt rewarding. The puzzles were clever without being repetitive, and each new scene introduced a fresh way of thinking. The visual design is absolutely stunning, and the seamless transitions between panels made me feel like I was stepping into a living painting.
My only disappointment is that the game eventually ended. I found myself wishing there were many more levels—perhaps even an infinite mode—because I never wanted the experience to stop. Gorogoa is one of those rare games that leaves you wanting more, not because it is incomplete, but because it is so enjoyable and memorable.
Thank you to the developers for creating such a masterpiece. Gorogoa is a game I will remember for a long time, and I would gladly play hundreds more levels if they ever existed.

Game is excellent but….
I genuinely enjoyed the gameplay, but the biggest issue is how little content this game offers. It only has five levels, and then it’s over. Charging five dollars for such a short experience is hard to justify and feels overpriced. Unless more levels or meaningful content are added, it’s difficult to recommend this game, as it doesn’t deliver enough value for the price.

Not working anymore?
Gorogoa is a great 5 star title, but recently just freezes on opening screen and I can't play it anymore on my Ipad. Are there any plans for fixes or updates? I would love to revisit this title.

Unique and brilliant game
The graphics and story are beautiful. The story is very abstract, but somehow you feel a connection. The mechanics are unique. It can be hard to figure out what you need to do, but it always makes sense once you do.

Too small for phone
I love this game, it’s one of the best out there, I was excited to play again on my phone, but it is way too small to play on a phone. I immediately requested a refund because I can’t play it but was told it does not qualify for a refund. It’s misleading and frustrating that this was advertised to work on a phone and then no refund is possible.

Outstanding!
Absolute perfection start to finish. Clever, just tricky enough, story is wonderfully inventive and interesting. I’ve never seen anything like this before. If you like Monument Valley, you’ll love this game. I thought MV was my favorite but this is now my #1. I can’t wait to play it again!

Okay..
The game was good, I won’t lie. I did enjoyed what I played. However, if I’m paying for a game, it better take me days or weeks to complete it. I finished this game within an hour. For that reason alone, I’d say you’re better off with any other similar free version.

Stumped
This is a beautifully illustrated games and fun figuring out the puzzle. It would have been a full 5 stars but I got stumped and when I broke down and looked to google with how to solve the clock puzzle it showed a photo like the one I saw on my game yet it was sunset and there was a star in the sky that was the key. So why in my game is it blue sky and no star? Does it also have to be night where I am? I’m confused.

Done in 30 minutes
Unique game but $5 for 30 minutes of gameplay when you can purchase full blown games on Console or PC is totally overpriced, unless! The creators plan to add more chapters..but personally if I had know it was this short I would have spent by money on a different game/book.

It’s a nope for me
Bought this out of desperation for a new game. There’s no rhyme or reason to even remotely enjoy this game. Just click and hope something happens. I’ve played many, MANY logic, adventure, puzzle games, unfortunately I regret paying for this game. I would not recommend this game at all.

A puzzle and artistic masterpiece
This game is soo good, I wish everyone could try it; there is nothing else like it. The story is abstract, but it is an experience you won’t forget. Although the puzzles/story doesn’t change, I’ve still replayed it numerous times now: It is like a work of art that you keep visiting, because each time you savor it, you peel back more layers.
I highly recommend this game to everyone, but: 1. Don’t expect the story to make perfect sense; it is like a dream. 2. It’s relatively short; I would love a sequel. 3. I can’t say enough good things about this game — just try it.

Stopped working.
No longer works correctly. I’ve run through this game a few times. Now it’s stuck on the first chapter without the action icons working. It was great when it worked. Oh well.

I keep playing it
I bought this game around the time it came out and I finished it shortly after. Then not too long after I found myself wanting to play a beautiful game and replayed it. I keep coming back again and again to replay it anytime I need the beautiful artwork in my life again.

This Game is Pretty But Not Fun
The artwork is gorgeous. The game is boring. I love puzzles and puzzle games. I play them quite a bit. Loved The Witness and Superliminal, two “out of the box” puzzle games. The Pedestrian is also really good.
This game was just me clicking/tapping and dragging pointlessly because the game never trains you on its puzzles. I wouldn’t be able to tell you a single puzzle happening in this. It’s just a guessing game for where to click.
It looks pretty tho. Wish it had a single puzzle to solve in it though.

Newbie game player and loved this
I’m not an interactive game player by habit, however I read an intriguing review and was curious to learn more. I struggled cat first because I lack a practiced game player mindset, yet I love puzzles, have a curious nature, and a bit analytical. This puzzle world enthralled me. Once I started to get into the groove and style of the game I couldn’t put it down. If you’re a seasoned game player you may find it too ”light”. For the rest of us, I loved the story, the graphics and the puzzles.

Gorgeous game, with a huge save problem
I love this game. It’s stunningly beautiful; the music is excellent; the story is intriguing. But it has constantly reset my progress, simply because I’ve opened another app or checked a message while in-game. It’s forced me to start over more than once, and has undone chapters of progress more than once, to the point where I abandon the game out of frustration, and come back weeks later, only to have my hopes dashed again. Wish I could give it five stars…but I can’t, with this issue at hand.

Very different approach
If you just finished playing The Rooms and The House of Da Vinci, this game has a very different approach but it has the same fundamental in puzzle solving (the same type of brain twisting fun). You will need to put 3D perspective aside and think in 2D term. The game puts you in 2D comic book environment and you go from there. You rearrange and overlaying the comic book panels until the specific puzzle is solved within the panel and then you move on to the next puzzle. The story telling is unique because they are all pictures and no words. You are able to get the hints of your next task by reading the characters’ thoughts. Once you understand how it works, the game is actually very good and challenging.

A Piece of Art
A seemingly innocent look outside the window in a brightly lit afternoon opens a spiritual journey into a war torn city. The story spans a life time (read about this as I just reached blue chapter).
There is no better way to tell such story, via framed art & movable story book like panels. The innovative game mechanism, the beautiful art work, the exquisitely illustrated atmosphere, cityscape, and various objects…a deeply touching subject…what not to love? There is nothing like this as I have been actively searching for all (noted) hand drawn style puzzle games. This should be the future.
Not only we play, I think. Maybe because I realized the heaviness of the subject underneath it all, I can only play a little a bit at a time. I got stuck at one place so far as it’s requiring a completely new way to piece things together, not sure if same play is ever used later.
A good wine is to be savored. I am hoping there’d be more in the making. I found this game only after a much delayed iPad upgrade so a huge catch up. There is no rush but this needs carried on.
