I chose this since I didn't like the definitive edition and honestly this mobile port is great but the missions are incredibly hard because of the touch controls i always used a xbox controller and connected it via Bluetooth because its way better than the touch controls.

Grand Theft Auto III is amazing. Everything in this game just clicks. The atmosphere, music, combat, driving, missions, etc. Rockstar nailed it with their first 3D Grand Theft Auto and this is definitely worth the 5 bucks they are charging for it I haven't got insanely far in the main story but even in the first island it is jam-packed with goodies to find and items to grab. 1 ISSUE THOUGH the camera can be insanely zoomed in sometimes depending on where you are. (usually at the train tracks)

you can aim at all, best game shows that it wasn't optimized for a mobile version. the aiming is bad. when you shoot the protagonist just shoots at nothing, you can aim.

Despite being an almost 30 year old game, it has a lot of potential compared to the other games that were made by Rockstar Games. The handling of the cars were sub-par, the missions are fairly easy and the graphics are considered well for it's time. Althoug I have to say that the physics of the game would be the death of me as I tried to complete the mission where you would have to grab the briefcase and escape The Triads. Still, good game.

A very good and somewhat challenging game, especially on Mobile. Controls are decent, gameplay is what you can expect from a GTA game but slightly more difficult, music are mostly original tracks with some trademarked songs. Ambience isn't as dark and gritty as the original, and also the camera perspective while in a vehicle shows less of the road infront of you compared to the original version of the game. It is a good port and worth purchasing if you just wanna play on the go.

not sure what all the bad reviews are about..runs smoothly on my galaxy s24 controls can be annoying but with controller its great..I have vice city aswell and they both play flawlessly..rockstar and ferrel are by far the 2 best for ports ...5 stars..get a controller its well worth it just for this game alone

The aiming system needs an update. When I'm on a mission, the aim will lock onto and instantly fire whether it's your own guys or the enemy making the gameplay very frustrating for controller users

If I want to drive without moving steering, the car doesn't stay in a straight line, it's is by default moving into the right-hand side, also first person camera isn't stable

It's not a good port, a lot of issues with texture properties. Alpha textures are set to non-alpha on the firetruck. The street sign for the tunnel between Portland & Staunton is missing its texture so it just appears as white. The animations are broken due to them not being rigged to the Xbox character models correctly. For example when driving Claude's right hand does a weird twirl and breaks his wrist when turning. Why use some Xbox models, but not all? It feels inconsistent. Just lazy.

It is a good game but I can't get past Bomb Da Base Act II - controls are way too sensitive on touch and control pad. I would stick to the console version for a better experience. Particularly Definitive Edition.

I'm not sure if this game was meant to be played on a tablet or ipad or whatever you guys call it but the camera angle in vehicles just pisses me off. even mods and widescreen patches can't fix this issue and the lighting on this port makes me sick, I know this game is old but c'mon man. this game is amazing but the mobile port just sucks and the game isn't available on steam anymore, just the goddamm definitive edition

I'm not going to lie, I though that this game was abandoned the last time I reviewed it, since it hadn't been updated in a few years at that time but it did receive an update at some point and it's working now. GTA 3 wasn't ever really a favorite of mine but it's still pretty good. This port seems mostly fine, there are some minor issues here and there with the version made for 64-bit android devices (mainly the lack of the cheat menu, just like Vice city) but it's fine.

Great classic, easily one of my favorites, though I'm not pleased with this mobile port. Mainly because the camera is zoomed in and also I can't see the car fully. And I wish the button controls, hud elements were a bit smaller for this version of the game by default rather changing the size by myself. But other than that, game plays well, haven't encountered any issues. Just wish this game had camera position fixed and buttons resized a bit along with hud, then I easily would give it a 5 stars.
