About
Handjam is a hand-gesture game for kids 4–8. No buttons. No swiping. No ads. Just your iPad's camera and your hands. Pip — a small, curious fox — shows you pairs of shapes. You make them with your hands. A circle is a fist. A square is an open palm. A triangle is a thumbs-up sign. Pip cheers when you get it. Everything runs on the iPad. No frame, no video, no audio ever leaves the device. We don't have a server because we don't need one. — TWO WAYS TO PLAY — RACE (free) A timer counts down. Match shape pairs to keep it ticking. Every five locked pairs adds seconds back on the clock. Three difficulty modes; high scores stay on your iPad. JOURNEY ($1.99, one time) Pip's storybook across 51 illustrated chapters. New artwork every chapter. No timer, no pressure — just you, Pip, and the shape friends. — WHO IT'S FOR — Built for ages 4 to 8 in Apple's "Made for Kids" category. Hand gestures train fine motor planning and bilateral coordination — the same skills handwriting and instrument-playing rest on. We didn't set out to make a "learning app." We wanted a game that felt good in a kid's body. The skills come along for the ride. — WHAT WE DON'T DO — No accounts, no logins, no email. No third-party trackers. No behavioral advertising. No external links. Apple's StoreKit handles the optional unlock; we never see your payment details. — ABOUT THE UNLOCK — Race mode is fully free, forever. The Full Game Unlock ($1.99, one-time, Family Shareable) opens Journey mode plus the Normal and Hard difficulty pools. One purchase, all your kids — no subscription, no upsell screens, no tricks. — A NOTE FROM ME — I built this for my own family. I'm one person, and I read every email at hello@handjam.xyz. If something's broken, tell me. If Pip should learn a new trick, tell me that too. — JK
