Developers have lost the ability to balance the classes. Do not play this game unless you're ok with reading the websites to find the 1 or 2 decks that have strong win rates in the meta and using those. That's very disappointing for a 14 year old game.

Used to be a game. Now you might as well be a spectator. Winrate is decided by who goes first. 80% of turns play themselves. Every deck plays the exact same game plan since they made hand management and board clears irrelevant while making every board incredibly sticky with unlimited reload. Only good part is battlegrounds which is borderline unplayable on mobile.

After 13 years of playing this game, I am fully done with it. The powercreep, the griefing, the inability to play even slightly outside of the meta - Hearthstone is not worth it. I remember when the game came out and it was marketed as a casual-friendly experience that was meant to be fun for everyone at any level. That is not the case anymore. Blizzard has turned into a hyper-competitive game where creativity is discouraged in every way. I'm done with it and I'm not coming back.

While this game on the surface SEEMS nice & fun, be prepared for a game full of glitches, bugs, bad so called "Random" effects & results. The game has non-existent balance, & to make matters worse, any progress requires an obscene amount of time, micro-transactions or just plain copying every other brainless "Auto-Win" strategy that everyone else is also using. In short: If want a quality game? Search elsewhere. P.S. Micro-transaction infested P2W game + Cheater Paradise. Avoid.

Reviewing the app - it's okay, though too focused on flashy graphics and animations, which are slow and negatively impact the gameplay. Client-server coherence is very poor, and the network interface is fragile. e.g. switching from cellular data to wifi will cause a meltdown and a game loss, and you'll need to restart, which seems to take way too long. The game itself - well that's pretty good, but not the subject of the review.

Unplayable due to lag. The opponent's animations take so long your turn is over before they end. Good modes got removed, other players are mainly there to annoy people and not actually play, there are nerfed cards that are still OP, updates made it too big for many smart devices, there is always an event ongoing and the requirements for the quests are ridiculous to fulfill in a timely manner. That and the recently added in-game currency make this formerly quite fun game nothing but a cash grab.

I have played this game for over 10 years and I have played through some troubling times with it, but the game just keeps getting worse. The developers either seem intent on making the game a shadow of its former self, or are utterly incompetent. Communication from them is sparse and seems entirely unaware of community sentiments and it is insane the kinds of issues the game has that they will do nothing about. Interested in starting new or returning to this game, do yourself a favor and don't.

every game is full of cheaters/hackers. tell me how does someone get instant 10 mana at the start of a round 1. 5 games in a row. not only that the tavern brawl is completely rigged I dont understand the point of letting me go first if I cant use any mana for the first turn just to let the other opponent go. they get more cards. and a mana crystal.... and the winning hand.... its all rigged and theres too many cards to say this gamd requires skill at all... they've changed never playing this

Game is disconnecting and reconnecting far too often mid game. Despite having a top teir device, this app taxes the CPU to the point of extreme heat. Many of the players have random accounts Hdhdue84g for example. With exception to those issues, the game itself is great fun.

Terribly optimized game. Battlegrounds is such a fun game mode, but it's terribly unplayable on mobile. Minions randomly switch positions when you're playing with APM builds, making you accidentally sell your important minions, spells act as minions, when you try to cast them they somehow push minions, and you also have to drag and slowly release them in order to cast, because they just won't otherwise. Reconnection is another big issue in this game which I won't get into because it won't fit.

still has huge dc issues that are not all on the client side. fuse on DC is bs. I'm a lucky one that the DC is not every game, but many people are. other than DC while at diamond 2 with stars means 2 extra games till legend, I guess it's ok. little things like card searching is not at all useful in say listing "not standard, craftable" for easy dusting is not nice really, lol but I got a system. oh an NO deck tracking provided yet, extremely little stat data in fact. only minor deck analysisinfo

activision has been systematically dismantling blizzard games. turning them into paywall games, recycling old content with "polished graphics" only to find they made less than desirable changes. the greed is the main killer. terrible customer service and greed/distortion built into their terms of service. battlegrounds is still a fun game mode, but the bugs and constant crashes are frustrating and remind me that Activision is running the show. they take months to fix bugs, if ever at all...

the game is always trying to play full animations so instead of playing in late game the whole time u just look at this effects animation and because of this u will lose against pc players. thank u blizzard for this bsht. i had a game when i was looking at those fight animations so long so after the fight i had FOUR seconds for preparing for the next fight. of course i lost cuz my opponent was from pc and did changes against my cards, but i didn't have time for anything. 0/100 for this

Worst standard expansion ever. Rogue is not invincible, but almighty. First turn 3 minions with 2-4 attack, 0 mana 8 cost minions in mid game, and double Lotus Trouble maker for 60-100 damage. ALL these three aspects need nerf!!

Abhorrent even. 13 years and highest ever rank was Diamond 3... witn an aggro deck... because that's the only way to win or play the game apparently. No joy in this game... deleted all my decks now. I love this game. I really do. It's fun, relaxing, and I genuinely enjoy it. What I don't enjoy is the constant push toward PvP. About 90% of the time, I want to play solo. I don't want to wait on players who take forever or let the timer run every turn. I just want to enjoy the game at my own pace. Want me to spend money? Give solo players more content and rewards.
