This goes for the steam version and this one. Only thing I wish you would do is fix the way saves work. make them per character. I have accidentally saved over so many saves of other characters because the save menu isnt per character. luckily I always generate back ups because I lost 20hrs of play in the past. I have over 300hrs on steam and up to 80hrs on mobile so I love this game. Amazing work and I will keep supporting the devs. Cant wait for Another Heros adventure!

updated review (4* to 3* until it get fix): Will this game ever get update anytime soon? there's annoying bug with red dot notification in martial arts menu whenever I use throwing items. Not just using it, but to even trying to use it but then I decide to cancel it, that red dot will appear after battle, it's annoying. The best game ever! I love the concept, branching stories, and massive content. The replayability is so deep that every new game feels fresh. The pixel design and chess-like combat give so much freedom. The story is amazing with many endings and tons of manuals to mix. I have played 100+ hours and never get bored. It was a really good game. I spent a lot of hours on it and I can say with full confidence that this game is worth its price and more. For any new players I do recommend playing on easier difficulties because you'll get stuck in unwinnable battles without stat bonuses you can get from completing achievements in the game. I started my first playthrough on hard and got stuck because of my pitiful stats.

Great game ruined by no save / clould save for iphone and ipad

I played this game with the same account on both my Iphone and iPad, but my saved file are not synced between devices. I have to restart my processes every time I switch devices, which is extremely frustrating for a game that required long-term investment. Please add proper cloud save / cross device sync so that Iphone and Ipad using the same account share the same save file. Without this feature, it's hard to stay engaged with the game. Thanks

Excellent Game except

This game defiantly scratches my itch for Tactical RPGs, especially with the customization and achievement replay ability. My one major complaint-and it’s a biggie. The crashing. Pretty much 1 in 5 loading screens becomes the game crash. I have had to save my game each time i do a scene transition, leave a room, or at times talk to people. This wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t for the fact that it doesn’t matter what my own settings are, my brand new ipad still crashes. I would get the PC version instead but I like the ipad since I can cuddle with my dog and play at the same time.

One of the best games I’ve played

Honestly if you want a deep thoughtful RPG, this is it. It’s turn based and the story is so well done, nothing is clear cut and your decisions or lack of them make impacts. Timing is important and I mean it when I say that. There is a lot to figure out and many ways to play and replay. Give it a shot, if you have the time and like Wuxia games, this game is definitely worth your time

In general, the game is excellent, one of the best rpg i've played. now for all this qualities, i'll keep the 5 star even if there are a few problems : mainly translations. it's approximate and can sometime be messy, but you easily understand what's happening so it's a minor inconvenience that barely keep you out of the story. i'll also add as a main problem the lack of interesting male companion... it's a harem game, the girls have higher stats overall and stories, while male have... nothing...

Intrusive and crashes

It’s a pretty cool game but it crashes about every 10-20 minutes and you have to agree to a shady user agreement and sign in with your Apple ID to play. You shouldn’t have to do that stuff for a single player game.

Amazing Game but no offline

One of the most addicting games I’ve played in awhile. Super fun exploring the world, was so excited to see it on iOS and bought it to play on my flight….except no offline mode. Not a multiplayer game, not sure why I need to be online all the time.

Fantastic port of a Fantastic game- Only 1 downside

1st absolutely stellar game. This is one designed for replayability in mind. As an open world sandbox rpg, one where choices matter, it hits the nail on the head from everything, leveling and pacing? Nailed it. Combat? Nailed it. Home base you can upgrade? Got that too. Romance? Got you covered. Crafting and resource gathering? Yup. Different factions and ways to play? Absolutely. Another fun aspect of this game is that by unlocking achievements you grow the starting pool of resources you have to work with. This means you’ll spend countless hours of playthrough chasing down all those errant achievements just for that next play through to take you all the farther, go all the quicker, or just make you feel all the more powerful. This leads me to my only real gripe. At least from the time I last played on mobile (as this is a port I usually only play while on phone if I have to) there was no way for me to import my achievements from steam into the game. I will whole heartedly admit, I have no desire to unlock these achievements all over again. I love this game, and will continue to play it, but I likely will not do so on mobile. Starting this game completely from scratch again is rough, and as such, I do NOT recommend this for anyone who 1) Already owns the game and is looking to be able to import data 2) Anyone who owns a PC and doesn’t own the original PC port (I will die on the hill that the PC gaming experience is superior. I will admit I could be wrong on this point, as it is entirely subjective) I DO recommend this game for 1) Literally anyone not in the first two categories. If the devs can implement steam achievement verification or implementation then I will update my review. The achievements take awhile to unlock; which is a double edged sword. It takes you awhile to unlock them, but it’s also incredibly disheartening to think about unlocking them all again.

Great game! Definitely worth your time, and I am not usually into games like this. Some Localization issues here and there, but I think in time most of it will be fixed. Update: They really have outdone themselves, this game is quite amazing! Definitely recommend the DLC too, especially the portraits dlc if you’re not a fan of the traditional portraits they have. I definitely prefer the optional portraits myself as they are more detailed. I suggest looking up a few comparisons, definitely worth the $1. The Silhouette dlc is also very nice, though I would recommend playing the game without it for your first playthrough, as some of the quests can interfere with other quests you may not know about, and the creating martial arts skills you can make, are not essential on normal difficulty but nice when you get to free mode. But strongly recommend both. Overall this game is great, for about $10 you get base game and dlcs, and hundreds of hours of playtime. 10/10 love this game.

Full marks despite any trouble

Right away anyone will tell you the localization is a bit of an issue. The English is awful, but behind a clunky and occasionally hilarious translation is a vast rpg experience with some very engaging and complex systems. Well worth the price!

Can’t put the game down! Love how much detail is in the game, from all the weapon choices, martial arts and companions. GET IT

This game is incredibly good and I have it on PC. It is very in depth for and rpg complete with a sect/faction/village/person relationship system, skills like mining, fishing, crafting weapons, clothes, and armor, appraising items like calligraphy, medicine, books, ornaments etc, you can choose to kill people but you probably shouldn’t to get as many skills as possible. You have the option to create a party, as well as take on quests all over the map and even have a pet. I can’t describe how good this game is honestly I just cut myself while washing a wine glass and I had to get stitches so unfortunately, I bought every part of this game and cannot play it. This has thoroughly upset me, but I am very appreciative of the developers for creating this. The only thing that I would ask, is that the English be a little better. Thanks!

I have to say that I like some of the games that are coming from this publisher X.D. Network Inc. Hero’s Adventure is a game that caught my attention right away when I was looking into the top selling RPG chart and instantly bought. For me, this is a game that combines different elements from games I’ve played in the past, which makes for fun and interesting experience.
