any game with paid "vip" features and $57.99 CAD for passes is an instant 1* for me. Absolutely no reason mobile developers should charge that much when their games don't even match up to anything on steam. I could understand it being a one time purchase and getting the passes for all future events. I really enjoy Hero Wars and love the gameplay, heroes, and progression. However, the sexualized designs of some female characters make me uncomfortable. I wish the character designs were less sexualized and focused more on the characters themselves. I want to keep playing because I genuinely enjoy the game, but when I see these characters, I sometimes feel so uncomfortable that I leave the game.

I started playing this game in Sept of 2019. Quickly became a 5 star game to me. After a year, and needing to contact Support a few times, it dropped to 4 stars. In the Realm, whenever I send troops to a mine, I make sure it's empty because I don't want to bother other players. But then another player sends troops to the same mine after I've already dispatched mine. And because their base is closer, they arrive first. And when my troops arrive, the game treats it as if I attacked an occupied mine, and so I am the one that ends up losing some of my troops forever. It's so unfair. had a game breaking bug in the first 5 mins. in the tutorial at the modify equipment it bugged out not allowing me to continue. fix the bug and I might give it another try but for now its going in the trash bin.
