This game is fun but I wish I could either replay episodes or get a dialog log so I can go back and read what I accidentally missed. I accidentally closed the app while in the middle of an episode and couldn’t go back so I feel like I missed something important.

Would be a five star game for me, but when I finally unlocked outfits from the story to play ootd or just mess with, it was all premade. No option to customize like you did in the story. Really sad that I will never be able to show off or see others creativity. Once you are done with a story chapter, you can never see the outfit you made again unless you saved it to your phone. I really want to mix and match my own creations with stuff from other chapters. Please work on getting this in the game. I will up my review to 5 star. I mainly play this for the fashion aspect and ootd. I actually really like the way you unlock the outfits.

I started this game last week and LOVED it. Energy and rubies go too fast to continue to enjoy. I spent more money than I should have and still didn’t get to finish a challenge that I was very committed to. Unfortunately, I enjoy this game to the point that I will go ahead and delete it… cause it’s simply not a good time without spending money. Maybe someone who plays it less will have fun actually.

Ok, so I absolutely love this game, there is so much drama and I love the main characters story but there is one thing, the energy thing kinda bothers me because when I run out I have to wait till tomorrow since I don’t have that many gems and I think you should just wait like 10 - 20 minutes and then get like fifty or a hundred back . I really enjoyed this game and the concept is fun and engaging. However, after completing an entire segment of the game I was inexplicably sent backwards to a segment I already completed. I contacted customer service 3 or 4 times for help. They responded once that they would get back to me and then completely ignored me and my follow up messages. Nothing was ever fixed. It is extremely disappointing when a game you enjoy becomes unplayable due to a glitch and the developer simply stops responding. I would love to continue playing, but I cannot recommend this game until they fix their customer service response and resolve game progression issues for their players. The potential is there —but so is the frustration.

It’s a fun game but there are so many things happening at once it’s ridiculous. Why can’t these kinds of games just be as simple as matching the items and playing the characters. Love the stories but they cost so many coins to get to the next levels that you can’t even enjoy the story. Only played one day.

Randomly updated, lost progress although my game stayed the same. Took me back several levels, removed my characters items and kept my game progress. Frustrating. I reached out and never heard back. Deleted app.

I absolutely loooove this game! (I’m obsessed). The problem is that the energy goes down so quickly and takes so much time to recharge to a playable level. I’ve found myself waiting hours in a day, or even overnight, just to get enough energy to play for maybe a couple hours or less. It’s very frustrating. Also, just a suggestion, can you add a function where you can access your wardrobe (everything you get from the card-drawing thing) so you can dress up your character without being restricted to just the OOTD function and the main dress up storyline? Thanks!!

I played for about a week and initially found the game very fun. However, after reaching level 20+, the game suddenly becomes extremely grindy and frustrating. The items required become excessively complex and time-consuming, and it feels very obvious that the game is designed around forcing in-app purchases rather than providing a balanced experience. Some orders require hundreds of energy, while the coins earned are not even enough to progress to the next chapter. Even basic tasks (like drawing an eyebrow) cost over 200 coins, which quickly becomes unsustainable. Without spending money, progression basically stops. Even if you do buy gems, they run out very quickly because both order difficulty and chapter costs scale up aggressively. Overall, it stops being enjoyable and turns into a paywall-heavy grind.

Initially I really liked this game but the longer you play, the harder it gets. They make it nearly impossible to level up or create matches without spending real money. I’ve also noticed a pattern with the OOTD voting event. I specifically tested this event by purchasing packages beforehand so I could use diamonds for locked items. What I found was that if I spent real money, I easily made it into the top 3 or 10. If I didn’t, I almost always sat at spot 101. That’s not a coincidence. While I understand this is a company and they only care about profit, it’s unfair to have a rigged system. So, I will be deleting this app and taking my money elsewhere. I do not recommend —there are better options out there.

I actually like the game, the dress up is fun, the story is fun, the merging can be fun. I just hate how fast we run out of energy and hiw fast the board fills up. Id be on this game for way longer but idk i guess its like every game where they really want you to pay to play and buy energy and diamonds . I like this game! It’s very free-to-play friendly while keeping a perfect balance between those players and those who want to pay. It’s hard to find games that balance both really well, most games are overpriced and barely let you do anything, but this game has resonable refills and cooldowns in my opinion! The only major thing I would change is to add back a way to look at previous makeovers, free-styling your avatar outside of makeovers, and our own apartment, all from their previous game, Hollywood Crush (and adding a way to skip special customers like Olivia and the Chest Cat, but that’s another story). Also, just like Project Makeover, you are forced to participate in certain events with no option to opt-out, I just want to merge. I’ve been looking for Style Savvy-like games after the absolute abysmal that was Fashion Dreamer, and this game is it, none of the other apps (yes, even Love Nikki) did it for me. Being clear, it’s not anywhere similar to the Style Savvy games, but this is the one that finally scratches the itch for me. Just keep in mind that if you’re free-to-play then the gameplay will be slower paced, but so far that doesn’t bother me too much

This is my favorite game! I love that there’s visual and audio conversations where you actually get to see your characters move and hear her talk. I love the story, it’s actually interesting and fun! Not just random nonsense lol the clothes are also cute and when you pick pieces, it doesn’t look like a mess if you don’t match exactly piece by piece their intended look, style, and colors. Such an awesome game!

UPDATE 5/30: while I did get some rubies credited to my account, I still have no communication from customer service regarding the issue. It IS STILL an issue. When I opened it this morning, the rubies did not credit like they’re supposed to. Love this game but customer support is not responsive to emails. I’ve emailed multiple times regarding not receiving the daily 5 free rubies in the Fashion Center for multiple days in a row. Once I’ve received a reply I’d be happy to update this to 5 stars because the game IS fun and engaging, and besides the missing rubies issue, I’ve had zero problems…it’s one of my favorite daily games!

I really like this game and I’ve been playing obsessively, but recently when I’ve tried to move on with the makeover and story processes, it says that it’s “downloading 0/37,” same with when I try to vote on looks or even see the voting results. however, no matter how long i leave the screen open to let the assets download, the downloading never progresses, just staying at zero. Please fix this, or if it’s an issue on my end, tell me how I can fix it. I tried to go to the app support link to say this, but there was nowhere to do so.

Your game is probably the best merge game ever! Not only do you help people with ADD by merging but you have daily outfit costume challenges as well as outfit changes for the challenges. The only thing I would possible recommend is a short descriptive story about your 16 hour challenge. Only so that people can vote on the inspiration behind the look. Like someone just broken up with and is wearing a revenge sexy outfit. I’m just saying it would be pretty cool.

Isn’t that bad story it’s actually interesting to me I haven’t got any ads either. So awesome some of The characters are in different art styles but that’s OK. The only problem I have with the game is that it’s kind of difficult to get what you need from the boxes for now though Cuz I’m only on level three but it’s been really good so far.

the daily fashion challenge is completely rigged. no matter what, you’ll always be rank 101 (no more and no less) every single day for hours until the last couple hours of voting. it’s almost like they don’t put real people in the voting pool for a majority of the time, only bots and those who spent money/gems. if you’re a free to play player, they rig it so you can’t win.

This is a good game and I’ve been hooked on it recently, however I bought an 8 dollar pass to get more rewards after just spending 20 on gems, and the 8 dollar pass only lasted for a few days. It was for the spring pass. This made me really upset because I just spent money on something that said in the pass “earn unlimited rewards.” This was in fast NOT unlimited and NOT the case because as soon as that ended, I now have to buy another which I will not be doing. The energy you have to have to play the game goes by extremely fast. Then you have to either wait to get more, or buy more. Each time you buy extra energy with gems, the price goes up. The first it’s 40 then after a few times it goes up to 160 and stays that way until a certain time.

I really enjoyed the graphics and gameplay of Hollywood Merge, but I was disappointed by dialogue telling the female main character she “needs to watch her weight.” Casual comments like this contribute to the unhealthy body pressure girls and women already experience constantly. It completely changed the feel of the game for me, and I ended up deleting it. I hope the developers reconsider including body-shaming dialogue in future episodes.

Update: was told to reach out to support and they have refused to do anything. Sent email as well to who they asked and no response. Minor was playing and we have Apple Pay turned off but without realizing child had a card on web browser saved. She has made crazy charges for this game as it directs you to pay without using Apple pay and she dint realize what was happening. After looking it seems it pushed you to buy things to progress. Requested refund as this was an unauthorized charge by a minor and I feel it was yes on us but also like I said pushes u to buy from the app bypassing Apple Pay we caught far to late and now have 260 plus in. Argues and no response from the company
