Guess your partner. Bet on it. How much you bet says what you can’t say out loud. Honne Poker is a conversation game for two people sharing one phone. Play it before you’re dating, or years after. ■ How it works The asking player picks one question from three. “Days off — which makes you happier?” “Right now, where were you actually looking?” Then they guess which answer their partner will choose, and bet 1-5 chips. The surer you are, the more you bet. You hide your guess and hand over the phone. Your partner picks their real answer. They can’t see your guess, or how much you bet. Then, on three, you open the result together. ■ The bet says what you won’t The interesting part isn’t winning. If someone bets five chips on you, they’re saying “I think I know you that well.” What’s hard to say out loud shows up in how they bet. ■ It gets deeper As chips pile up, the questions warm up.
