Isle of Arrows is a fusion of board game and tower defense, in which you place randomly drawn tiles to build defenses on an ever-growing piece of land. * Tile-Placement meets Tower Defense: Isle of Arrows is a unique blend of genres that adds a new strategic puzzle element to the Tower Defense formula. * Roguelike structure: Each run is randomly generated with different tiles, enemies, rewards and events. Playing through campaigns unlocks more elements to appear in the game. * Modes & modifiers: A variety of game modes, guilds, game modifiers, and challenges make each playthrough unique. Gameplay Each round, you get to place a tile on the isle for free. Spending coins allows you to skip to the next tile immediately. When you're ready, call the next enemy wave and watch your placed defenses in action. There are 50+ tiles in Isle of Arrows: Towers attack the invaders. Roads extend the path the enemies walk on. Flags grow the isle, giving you more space to build. Gardens reward you with coins. Taverns boost all adjacent archery towers. And so on. so far I love the concept good to past time, I would give this a 5 star but I wish there was a see how long you can last with just one path but as long as you can hold it and fight for it but good game over all

Good concept, and the visuals are charming, simple, and refreshing. But the randomness of the tiles you're dealt with makes you feel that you need 30 percent skill and 70 percent sheer luck. Needs rebalancing. Update: I'm adding a couple of stars here after a dismal 1 star rating. Why? Because of a change of mindset. With this game, accept that the odds are NOT in your favour. The algorithm or RNG will NOT help you win. Assume that you'll lose every round, so every win is a pleasant surprise.

need to be less restrictive a when placing tiles that might block your path. let me have that choice. I can freed up with bombs. A lot of time I know water tile will be on my way but I need to place the piece I have currently instead of passing it up. really ruins the game. game also seems less about scale and more about RGN

Fun game, hard but rewarding, the learning curve is not that steep, relies a bit on RNG but it's manageable. Fatal glitch on Pathfinders if you have the "connect all 1-block tile gaps" card and you form a loop, causes the game to freeze instantly.

Beat the campaign and all the gauntlets. Great game very addicting in a good way. Very few bugs. Only suggestion is adding an undo button for when you accidentally click place a tile during a turn. Thanks devs!

Honestly I really liked this game initially the campaign was challenging but fun. It was a unique and creative take on the tower defense genre. Since completing the campaign I've been playing the daily challenge which used to be fun but recently just feels really unbalanced. Almost everyday it's invasion or another combination of unwinnable modifiers. Recent experiences have highlighted the games faults while draining the enjoyment out of the aspects I used to really enjoy.

Exquisite design. The roguelike element deftly elevates the tower defense genre to an exalted level of game craftsmanship that's unadulterated genius. Six Stars. Exemplar of human design capacity surprisingly manifest thru an ostensibly simple premise within a well-worn corner of gaming. The emergent balance in randomness is divine. Thoroughly addictive, too, naturally. Our AI overlords would find a serious challenge here. Somehow the player manages building with extreme foresight, yet blind.

Originally I gave this five stars but at later levels it was so RNG-dependent it became ridiculous. Burning Embers is unbalanced. and the last level of gauntlet for the architects is unwinnable even with the best RNG. Dropping to one star poor game design.

Don't waste your money on this game, it is far too reliant on rng to be any fun. I think this is on purpose to hide just how little actual content is in this game and I'm honestly surprised they are actually charging money for it, considering how frustrating the game is. I've beaten about 90% of the "campaign" (heavy use of quotes) and in all of those it felt more like I got lucky pulls instead of playing the game well. I beat one of the fire levels pulling only a single fire tower.

Needs balance for sure. You rely way too much on luck. It's not a hard game at all, it's the fact that you have little to no options to generate currency, strategize placement etc. Good time killer, but if you're trying to grind and complete the game, it'll leave you frustrated due to the lack of mechanics and ability to build your own fate.

an actual cool >GAME< WHERE THE PLAYERS >PLAY< IS SO for once... so many "indie games" today just reducing to being A ONEWAY set puzzle that is only how the dev COULD *SOLVE* their *case*, and no player dynamic made! AKA NOT A GAME, but has video! UGH! this game has a neat tutorial, great art, its simple, ITS FUN! it has many dynamics already and even QoL like fast forward AT START. MY ONLY nitpick (so far) is beard enemies have slightly to much hp, and axe enemies have slightly too much speed.

I don't do reviews but this game was so dang good I had to. This is the first mobile app that I have genuinely loved. This game feels so genuinely good! There are no paywalls, no buying gems or coins to level up. you get an incredibly brilliant game from start to finish. Perfectly executed. Beautifully crafted at every corner. So incredibly fun!

It's a really nice and cosy aesthetic, sound effects just highlight this so beautifully. really well made and well thought out. BUT there needs to be some sort of hard coded protection loop for the way you draw cards. it's too random and you end up in a sort of resource/offence card famine. Your track will sit at the edge of the map for too many turns because you've drawn too many roads or support cards and you're sitting there waiting for the offence cards to turn up. it needs rebalancing.
