Turn-based puzzle roguelike where battles are fought by matching tiles on a grid
Kaamos is a bite-sized turn-based puzzle roguelike where battles are fought by matching tiles on a grid with looping rows and columns. Build your character and deck of tiles by looting equipment from your foes. Traverse a dark medieval world where the Sun went down and never rose again. --Turn-Based Puzzle Battles Face hostile opponents in duels to the death where you see enemy actions in advance. Match tiles of the same color on a grid where dragging a row or column loops it back on the other side in order to counter the incoming onslaught of enemy attacks. Stab, crush and cleave your way to victory. --Build Your Character Equip powerful weapons, armor, and rings to change your tactics and tile selection for battles. Want to be a dual-wielding berserker, an evasive duelist, or a knight clad in heavy armor? With over 180 items there are interesting build choices and playstyles for every player. --Traverse a Sunless World Navigate a randomly generated dark medieval world filled with madness. Unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of the Sun or fade into the darkness. You are not alone. There’s always something lurking in the dark behind every fork in the path.

can't have anything playing in the background no podcast or YouTube while I play. nope

I got to say, this game is absolutely amazing. I hope it will get an ENDLESS mode and more characters to play as and things to fight (like monsters or something).

pretty good. pretty hard

Game was enjoyable but can be repetitive and boring after many loops. Also fix the issue where music on streaming apps stop playing when you're in the game, thank you

Great game I haven't played anything like it. Would be a 5 if I could listen to podcasts while playing.
- Raul Cantu · v1.0.37
A challenging and intriguing experience, but it feels very light on content. I would love to see more items, characters, tile types, enemies, and bosses, even companions, a deeper story, and even more! Loved it!

I like the game, but having full-on RNG in a roguelike... let's just say there's only so many times I can take losing to final boss after flawless run due to few bad rolls before I'll curse the game off forever.

Please change the audio focus backend, as it is I can't play my own audio in the background even with the volume settings on 0.

It was a good experience. I'm happy for the money I paid for it. I thought it was a little too easy/short for me though. I defeated the final boss on my second attempt. I just with there was a challenge mode or something else to encourage me to play a little bit more. right now, the characters I have unlocked (5/7) just aren't different enough of a reason to justify another round.

Really fun game. Story, graphics, gameplay, mechanics, all great. I'd give it 5 stars if the game didn't cut out all other audio while playing. I'd definitely play it more if it weren't for the same reason.

very fun but I've been playing for a week and I still can't get past the second boss

Engaging, but very difficult. After a dozen attempts, which were fun, I quit and un-installed simply because I got the sense it was impossible to beat. Still worth the price.

I'd like to run Spotify while playing, how do I do that?
- T R · v1.0.36
I like the core idea of the game, and maybe this is down to bad luck, but it always felt like I had no way of keeping up with the rising stats of enemies.

while the style and the music are lovely, it seems like it's not a true "failure gets you closer to victory" style roguelike. you're kind of stuck with the beginning character, and even beating the first boss is nigh impossible. I do like a challenging game, this just feels sisyphian in its difficulty. I definitely like where it's going though, lovely work!

I really do like the art style of this game, very nostalgic. But the core fighting mechanics of this game is a bit confusing and even hard to master. I would recommend the game developers to add more stats to armors to make it easier and more fun to do combos. Also I beat the game, I hope for updates

Enjoyable pixel rouge! didn't realize I'd be spending a couple hours on different runs. It reminds me quite a bit of slay the spire but without the card mechanics, and more of a dungeon tracer feel.
- Steven Farber · v1.0.36
Working perfectly and looks awesome on a portrait screen 💕
- Nader MB · v1.0.35
The feeling, the atmosphere, the story and the art are amazing simple but transmit a lot of emotion also the deep layer of strategy it's very well executed for me was an instant hit and got me hooked with the one more turn then one more run very recommended
