King's Court is a duel game set in a royal court that does not like you very much. You fight with three things: attack, block and feint. That鈥檚 it. Sounds simple until the other knight has a tell, a bad temper, or a shield he refuses to put down. You win a round, take a breath, pick a perk, and walk deeper into the castle. Squire at the gate, King at the end. In between there are captains, executioners, and one black knight I still don鈥檛 fully trust. Campaigns are short enough to play on the couch. Fights are quick. You can spend gems on a second chance or a blacksmith who will quietly make your sword meaner. There are shields and arenas if you want the court to look the part. None of that is required to finish the game. I made it because I like that little pause before you commit to a move. Hope you get that feeling too. If you make it to the throne, you can always start another run. The King does not stay beaten for long.
