I was surprised when I played since the community doesn’t like this as much as other Kingdom Rush games. I liked the range of tower options and how much tower selection played into overall strategy. Moreover, I thought some of these towers like the boneyard and mausoleum were equally unique and great additions to the franchise.

The core gameplay is great. I just hate the monetizing that is worse and worse every new release. I get you want to make money, but this is ruining your appeal quite heavily. I’m losing my will to support your team in any fashion because of how you’re evolving. This was a big part of the reason I like your games.

Game is good, but I encountered a bug while playing heroic modes in denas’s castle level. In this heroic level, denas’s artillery will keep blowing my tower, and it won’t clean itself after a while. It should clean it self after 40s or so, because I get this information from wiki and video online. A friend of mine have arcade version, I check his level and that version is correct. So only this version is different and I think it is a unique bug. Maybe you can fix this in future tiny update and i could fix my review.

I’m being honest here this is a very good game and I’m going to point out that the storylines and characters, and graphics of the game are amazing. Vengeance was a great addiction for me. And yeah that’s really it.

Basically 80% of the game is literally locked behind q paywall a downgrade from the previous kingdom rush games and why am I paying $10 for a DLC when this game is literally 3 bucks…. That kind of puts a bad taste in players mouths and doesn’t encourage consumers of the game to wanna play further.

I try to buy some stuff in game. A link takes me to my PayPal and I get sent a code to type in . I type it in and nothing happened. There was no place to click to finish the transaction after typing in the code. So I close the window and go back to the game and the purchase didn’t go through. Now the game won’t allow me to buy anything. I was trying to buy all the towers and characters. Would’ve been around $30 but they apparently have enough money since the game refuses to sell me anything. I’ll just keep my $30 and never try to buy again in this game.

Played and replayed all the previous games. This one was a huge let down. If I wanted to play a more advanced game than the previous Kingdom rush games I would jump on my son’s Xbox. If I wanted to pay for more add ons than the previous Kingdom rush games, once again I would jump on the Xbox.

Devs, please listen! Charge MORE for the game to remove micro transactions. You are making one of the best tower defense games ever, but you sully your art to scam game addicts. We all know that 90% of your gem sells go to 5% of players (many if whom meet the definition of ‘addict’). You shouldn't be in the addictive tobacco business, and you shouldn’t be in the game addict business. Take the high road. Be the Zelda of tower defense. —— Still ruined by micro transactions. I’ll never buy an iOS Kingdom Rush again.

Don’t waste your money on this game. Buy the previous ones instead. They’re more interesting, cost less, and aren’t as buggy as this one. This new game in the series is a money grab that adds in a ton of in-app purchases and has less “free” content (although that’s not even free because you pay for the game). In addition to that, if you ever uninstall the app and reinstall it, it gets very buggy and you essentially have to start play from the very beginning in order for it to work at all. Very disappointed in this game and I don’t think I’d purchase any of their newer games because this one is so much worse than the previous ones.

Don’t believe the description, most of the actual game content listed is locked behind dozens of pay walls. (Of the 17 heroes featured in the game, the devs only give you 3.). I was expecting maybe a few in-game purchases for DLC type content, but this is completely unacceptable. I would have never purchased this if I knew I was buying a demo. I hope you’re reading this because you ruined my night and I want my money back.

This game is pretty good for a mobile game especially with the art style and care put into this game. The monetizing for DLCs is not cheap but still in the reasonable range of 8 bucks and it’s mainly for people who enjoyed the game plenty and would love to spend more time into the game, even if it comes at a price. It’s rather fair when compared to some other monetization tactics corporations and even some indie devs use to squeeze every little dollar out of the consumer. Now like I said, the game is really nice and I recommend to people who enjoyed the a variety of choices for their own play style. The game isn’t perfect, but it shouldn’t be expected to be, but it still comes with an important feature missing and bugs that can definitely ruin the enjoyment. Now the first one is simple, just add a bestiary. They did respond to the player base and said something along the lines of, it takes up too much space. But the kingdom rush community loves having bestiaries as they had it for the first three games, but not for kingdom rush vengeance or alliance. The second and third ones are audio and a major gameplay bug. When loading into the game sometimes the audio will repeat and cut off leading to weird sounds, but it stops once you go into the game. The last bug I encounter was when I fought one of the bosses, the T-Rex and some other time I cannot remember. Now at the very end of the stage, the game totally freezes and you cannot do anything. This was super annoying but the thing is, it gave me the achievement for beating the boss on Game Center, but it didn’t show when I reloaded into the game that I beat the level. I really hope you fix this bug so others don’t have to go through that like I did, and if you read this entire essay about Kingdom Rush: Vengeance, kudos to you.

I think all titles of Iron hide games are great but with this game having the towers and heroes cost around 7 dollars I think is to much and some of the towers aren’t much better than the basic towers, the Apple Arcade version made all of the hero’s and towers unlockable throughout the campaign as-well as heroes and the campaign levels. I think that should either be changed to match the Apple Arcade version or make them way cheaper and/or in a cheaper bundle. I’ve also had an issue with having to pause the game and coming back to it and the app restarting and not saving where I left off, I don’t know if anyone else has this issue.
