About
Step onto the sacred 5x5 grid and unleash ancient elemental powers in Kohatu: Tiki Stones & Elemental Duels! Kohatu combines the instant accessibility of classic 5-in-a-row board games with deep elemental strategy, dynamic weather hazards, and collectible Guardian Totems. Will you engineer explosive combos, anchor against hurricane winds, or douse lava surges to claim victory? MASTER THE ELEMENTS Place carved Tiki stones across the grid to align 5 in a row or dominate board points: • Red Tiki (Fire): Grants score bonuses and ignites neighboring tiles. • Blue Tiki (Water): Melts ice and channels lightning into Crystal Shields. • Green Tiki (Nature): Generates bonus coins and fuels fiery combustion. • Grey Tiki (Earth): Acts as a heavy magma anchor immune to wind gusts. TRIGGER ELEMENTAL COMBOS Combine complementary elements on adjacent tiles to trigger powerful synergies: • Combustion (Fire + Nature): Ignites tiles for escalating combo score multipliers. • Crystal Shield (Water + Ice): Turns water tiles into un-freezable crystal. • Magma Anchor (Earth + Fire): Locks tiles in place against displacement hazards. SURVIVE DYNAMIC WEATHER HAZARDS No two matches ever play the same. Adapt your strategy to shifting biome weather: • Rain Storms: Watch out for telegraphed lightning strikes. • Gale Winds: Gusts sweep non-earth tiles across the board. • Cataclysm Events: Telegraphed Lava Surges, Monsoon Gales, and Deep Freezes test your tactical foresight. COLLECT GUARDIAN TOTEMS Unlock and equip ancient Tiki Guardians with unique passive perks to match your playstyle: • Koa the Flame-Keeper: Amplifies combustion combo scores. • Tangaroa the Deep: Auto-shields water placement tiles. • Tane the Jungle Warden: Earns extra coin payouts per match. • Papa the Stonebound: Anchors all earth tile placements. PLAY ANYTIME, ANYWHERE • Campaign Saga Map: Journey through 36 curated levels across Jungle, Snow, and Volcano biomes with 3-star mastery challenges. • Casual Quick Play: Spin the Daily Weather Wheel and duel smart AI bots. • Asynchronous & Online Multiplayer: Duel friends and rivals at your own pace with turn replay highlights.
