The game starts out with that gameplay that is on all the ads but then goes into a repetitive farming game where you can’t play that gameplay except for like one day a week. You’ll end up spending lots of money if you want to keep grinding after that

Don’t waste your time on this game their ads do not lead to the gameplay. I have been playing the game for over two years six seasons in and nothing has changed some graphics, but everything is the same. The system is full of bugs and crashes often when you report bugs nothing is done about it. There is no compensation for their errors or their mistakes. They simply are in it for the money and nothing else. Don’t be dumb like me and download and play this game. It is not worth your time. don’t bother downloading the game. It is nothing but a scam. Lots of pros but still cons
I downloaded the game to play to pass time and quickly found this to be more of a strategic gamer type play. What you see in the ad is such a minuscule part of the actual game. Being a part of an alliance absolutely makes playing more fun but the chats can be cumbersome and overwhelming. You really have to pay attention to be successful in this game or else you are talked down to in the chat. I’ve witnessed it more than once and it definitely takes away from the fun. With the change of seasons and differing event tasks, it’s like a part time job trying to keep up. Don’t see myself playing much longer.

Fun At First - Micro Transactions Required to Keep Playing
I am now stuck were it is telling me to recruit more squad members in order to advance (I cannot beat the current level). More squad members are unavailable unless you want to purchase them. Nope. This game is not worth spending a single cent on. Simplicity is king, but with this game, it is way more complicated than it should be. The battles are a blast, but all the BS you have to do to keep playing. No thanks. This game has been deleted.
I’ll be back on Hill Climb Racing 2 instead.

I have spent hundreds of dollars, and it is now wasted money. The game encourages groups that spend thousand of dollars to bully smaller alliances. When you speak out against it they send you a letter warning you of misbehavior and breaking there rules. I wish I could get my money back.

Deceptively great game

This game has a history of putting duplicate charges through for purchases made directly in game (use a search engine to verify my claim). If you report these duplicate charges to Apple, or your bank, if they agree those charges are fictitious and should be refunded, the developer blocks your account until you pay them that same amount again. Worse, the developer has admitted to me that they cannot track refunds and actually demand you pay them based on the refund requested and not the refund received. So if you were unfortunate in your bank’s investigation and they don’t agree to refund you your duplicate charges, you could actually have to pay a third time to access your account.
It is insane that a company of this size is allowed to operate in this store without appropriate processes and controls around billions of dollars of purchases and refunds. And I won’t even get into the false advertising that brought you to the app, or how they select what you ‘randomly’ get when you purchase anything, or how they manipulate gameplay to make you feel like you’re falling behind to try and make you spend more

For the amount of money people spend on this game, there is ZERO customer if any at all. They claim to be about a positive community yet people can harass you by spam reporting, you appeal the chatban and have to wait days on end for it to be reversed with a “sorry for the inconvenience” with no compensation whatsoever. But let someone report something you say and it’s handled within minutes. Horrible “service” if you can even call it that.

A major “whale” account on our server openly admitted to buying an account, switching the digital footprint from Korean isp to US isp overnight. A wrestling match so to speak. This game sings the tune of conspiracy. So I’m going to take the mic and say “not cool dude”. And to throw the chair I’ve had it with some of the comments in this game that are real sharp and or political. But yeah, since the developers are working so close with the homeostasis of the game and are making changes I thought I’d chip in on the bases. Developers are the loop
The developer’s response to my prior review demonstrates the exact issue: submitted a detailed report to support, including indexed screenshots documenting the conduct, related communications, and the applicable game rules. explained that support acknowledged receiving that evidence but did not address the documented communications or explain whether the reported conduct had been evaluated under the game’s Terms of Service.
The developer’s public response does not address any of those concerns. Instead, it asks to provide “a detailed description of the problem” and my in-game information to the same support channel so they can “locate and resolve” the issue.
This is precisely the reporting loop identified in my original review: report the conduct and provide evidence, receive no substantive response addressing that evidence, raise the handling publicly, and then be directed back to support to report the issue again.
Save yourself and do something else.

No Room For Casual Players
After easily a couple of years playing this game, getting all the way to max level, and spending a good amount of money, I’m finally exhausted with this game. I have been kicked from several guilds (which is required for most of the content). No matter how much I engaged with them and contributed to events. In addition to that I had random people messaging me, trying to tell me what to do..like I’m not a grown adult. I am an adult with a full time job, and real life responsibilities, which makes it nearly impossible to play this game without some random blowing up your messages for being offline for 12 hours. If you enjoy a game where you have to be locked in to the strategy and follow rules, this is for you. Personally to me..it’s a mobile game. I shouldn’t have to invest as much time in it as I do my real world job, just to avoid being kicked from a guild and losing a lot of features. It was fun for a while, until every inevitable setback that’s caused by some 13 year old with a power trip.

This game sucks. You get blasted away every day wasting all your supplies you’ve built up. People or most likely bots are maxed out because they either hack or spend a ton of money to max every thing out. If you casually play you just waste your time. There’s nothing to win unless you spend thousands of dollars to level everything up. If you value your sanity avoid this game.
Update: got an email from the developer basically saying that pay to play is the only way to enjoy the game and this game is a “strategy” game. The only strategy that I see is that you must spend a ton of money to get anywhere to be able to defend your base from sweats and people with deep pockets. Basically if you’re poor this game isn’t for you.

Systemic Moderation Failure
After repeated attacks were expressly tied to demands for public and private apologies, leadership resignations, and the removal of specific players, I reported the conduct as harassment, abuse, targeted retaliation, and coercion. Report included indexed screenshots documenting the incidents, related messages, and the game rules implicated by the conduct concerning harassment and threats being used as leverage to compel players to meet personal demands or continue to be targeted and harassed, going so far as to persist in creating a negative and unenjoyable environment for all players within the server.
Support confirm receiving the evidence but does not address the reported messages, identify what had been reviewed, or explain whether the conduct was evaluated under its own Terms of Service. Instead, support focuses on coordinated attacks being normal gameplay and redirected individual incidents to the same in-game reporting process, even though the report and supporting evidence had already been submitted. It never addresses the distinction between ordinary PvP and the coercive communications.
This creates a reporting loop rather than a meaningful resolution. It also raises concerns about whether the process is consistent with Apple’s requirements for handling reports of offensive user-generated content. Published protections offer little value when detailed evidence is acknowledged but its substance remains unaddressed, allowing the reported conduct to continue without any communicated intervention or resolution.
Based on this handling, the only practical option may be to stop playing. However, leaving the game is not a substitute for meaningful enforcement of the protections presented to players. Competitive gameplay does not require accepting harassment, coercive threats, or attacks used to enforce personal demands. The failure to distinguish legitimate competition from conduct prohibited by the game’s own published rules has made this an extremely negative environment and experience.

MONEY GRAB SPEND SPEND
This is basically a if you don’t spend you will be left behind. If you don’t log on consistently you will be left behind. Season matching is so imbalanced you will have nearly f2p servers getting matched with spending servers. The shooter game is only on sunday the rest is micro managing resources and building troops only to be wiped out and repeat. Flawed
The game can be extremely glitchy and while the devs cat some errors within a day or less, it is horribly frustrating. Also, too few Secretary positions and too few train slots. The game becomes incredibly boring very easily, especially between seasons and when there is absolutely nothing to do during miserably slow, boring stretches. Also, special events like bounty hunter require too many diamonds to be fun. Customer support is incredibly rude. Arrogant and tone death. They are clearly bots or really awful customer service workers using AI to sound prim and proper while being wrong and willfully rude and ignorant. I hate them and the game most of the time.

Social experiment
This game is not addicting, but it is a social experiment ! To grow stronger, you have to login every three hours to do a mini task like teaching an old dog new tricks. Small doses of happiness that are sprinkled through throughout the day keeps you hooked and addicted to a pointless game that never ends. And don’t matter how dedicated you are. They will always be bigger fish out there that can beat you. You won’t get any satisfaction out of it. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone. I spent more than half a million in my account and this game and I regret ever stumbling upon it.

The game is pretty cool, but it keeps sending me to the older version which is like in the 304 server which my friends are playing on 2162. I wish we had the option to do that. Fun game but rules not enforced equally.
I’ve been playing for a while now and it’s pretty well know rule violations get overlooked quite often for certain type of players. You can get a warning or temp chat ban for doing something like chat spamming to hide the Nuke messages, report someone else for doing the exact same thing and they’ll magically find “no rule violations found”. Customer support just continues to claim they’re fair even with first hand screenshots and experience of the opposite.
Other than that, really fun game that can be done F2P or P2W.

Been playing for 5 months. Power up to 30 million. Tell me why I only have one hero with 5 stars, best builders I have is 3 purple and 1 blue. This game is awesome
I've logged in every day for 422 days in a row. So why the 1-star review? The developers decided to cut nearly all the inexpensive packs and they did not replace them with anything comparable. In addition, for the packs they did leave (primarily event related), they gutted them and the prizes stemming from events. Such as the number of items you can trade in or receive from an event. It's quite literally skrink-flation. It's done nothing but slow progress beyond the pay-wall. If the decision to cut packs was motivated by greed, I am fairly certain that it backfired. Most people are not spending within the game as much as they once did. It used to be that packs started at $1 or $5 and tiered upward 6 or 7 tiers, and there were plenty of options to choose from (you could select your growth path). Now, there is one daily pack with 2 tiers. They say the change is based predominantly on user feedback. I'm fairly certain that's inaccurate. Whatever the real cause is, the result is they are killing their user base off. It's quite sad.

Free to play requires patience many/most don’t have. I enjoy the game, especially the social aspects so it makes spending $ sort of worth it, but seriously it’s too expensive. If you are an impulsive spender, you could easily rack up 10s of thousands on in game purchases. I’ve seen people end up in serious debt: Whales. I’m a dolphin but still spend around $50 a month and even more during the “seasons” if I don’t keep track. If you’re active and in a good alliance, you will grow without spending.
The developers listen to players’ complaints and requests and this game is so much better now than when I started over two years ago.

Too much time between battles
You have to spend way too much time navigating the base, upgrading things, unlocking, harvesting, and doing all these dumb tasks before you can just jump into the fun part (the actual battle). Not worth it

Beware the scams
Beware the scam! They are preying on addiction and they have tons of scams to trick you into. People are spending thousands foolishly on here and wasting an extreme amount of time. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT START! If you are a parent do not let your kids have access to a credit card. I see younger people spending foolishly as if it were mom and dad’s money.

I am five months into this game, and I am already non competitive. I have spent over $500 American dollars and am so under powered still that opponents just laugh at me. Cant recommend this game. It’s a money pit with zero payoff.

If you want to immerse yourself in a game, this is the one, but be advised it requires a lot of time and or money to grow to the top, and it’s constantly creating new events to learn and adapt to, so be advised casual play and low spending / F2P players have literally no shot at enjoying the game unless you like losing continuously. Devote 4-6 hours each day if you want to get anywhere with low/no spending, schedule your life around event times (necessary for F2P) and you can eventually get to a point where it’s fun but it takes many months, and the changing seasons radically change gameplay so you constantly have to change and adapt (twice a year I think). If you want to spend 30 hrs a week or $100/week (or both) you will like the game. Casual players, find something else unless you like being last and at the bottom always.

Addicted game but it is all about $$$$
Don’t download this game if you don’t plan to spend $2000+ and 4 hours a day.
The part that is fun has almost no rewards and the only rewards come from $$$$.
Game like this will eventually run out players as the regular players won’t stay long.
Games that money plays some roles but not make you 100 times stronger than others are much better.

Good game bad platform
The actual playing of the game is great I’ve logged in everyday for almost a year it’s great… until there is an issue. The game updates constantly making hard to open the app without waiting 5 minutes for it to open. Don’t start. Lots of bugs and no support
I’m about to start season 2 and the devs have gone out of their way to make it impossible for f2p or low tier spenders to compete.
Daily sales have been removed and task rewards have been reduced. Unless you or someone on your team wants to do non stop diplomacy with other alliances you won’t get anywhere.
Today my shields were reduced for no reason and customer support can’t be bothered to explain why. The time, resources, and actual money I am out now because of this is super disappointing and discouraging. What is the point in investing in protection if it won’t last for as long as advertised and if customer support won’t reply why even bother?
Long story long, unless you’re looking to spend a lot of money don’t start and don’t play.

Great at first, then not so much…
The game is basically a much more involved version of Clash. At first there are a ton of fun activities and mini games to build on the pay-to-win base building clan mechanic. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks the difficulty level on the mini games becomes impossible and you are effectively stuck with a check-in-once-a-day-pay-to-win-base-builder. Not much fun.

One example of a fix that has happened multiple times when you’re scrolling up to pick a reward it’s easy to click on an item and it automatically does the exchange
This is painful and there should be a prompt. Are you sure you want to do this because to scroll and be able to touch the reward and then it automatically happens is a serious issue when you did not want that reward

Loved it but..
Loved the game when started. Mainly played for frontline breakthrough but as you progress into the later stages those type of battle stop. Stages feel stagnant and don’t feel engaging. Fight is pretty much auto and you will need to upgrade your heroes significantly. In a strong alliance but only play for weekly frontline breakthrough event.
Suggestion: Most players started playing this game because of frontline breakthrough. Bringing back the earlier type of stages in the armored truck will be great, many players will appreciate it. I’ve noticed just recently radar task had a frontline breakthrough type of play which is a good start, perhaps implement more of those plays without the original heroes and set higher rewards for those who claim higher points. (Blue boxes) The one with heroes should be added back in the armored truck stages. This type of gameplay is the sole reason for millions of users to play which is why this game is considered world leading frontline game vs other mimics.

It’s a pocket Casino
After more than $10k and 600 days of play I think it’s safe to call this game a casino. Its sole function is to get players to addicted to clicking on all the things to spend time and in turn spend money to keep up with everyone else. There are so many ways to spend money and every season brings new things to upgrade. Every aspect brings an increasing amount of things to spend time and money on. The disparity between free to play and pay to play is so vast that it is essentially two different games. Highly recommend not playing
